Interesting thread, I have been boxing for 4 years now (not really self defence) and have been taking Ju-Jitsu for about 9-10 months. I think some moves in Ju-Jitsu can / are effective if you where to get into a real situation, i actually have used a move in a semi situation before anything escalated. To back it up though i go to the gym 3 times a week and i do my boxing and ju jitsu 3 times a week (opposite days) and have Sunday to rest.As others have said, the best defence for the street would be a self defence course or having a 9mm

I have one too, i hardly ever play it, before i had the 360 and just had the PS2 i played it much more, but now it seems so inferior, but when i am on holidays or traveling i play it. I hope in the (distant) future they bring out a new handheld which is as good as these next gen consoles

Maybe it is an exaduration, they could send out (theoreticaly) a "virus" which is actually just a warning telling people they know they have pirated software and **Disactivating** it if that is leagle. Obviousily this could be stroon through word of mouth to be "MICROSOFT IS REALEASING A VIRUS"Just my thoughts out loud

^^^ You hit the nail on the head there, i totally agree, I have had call of duty 2 since i got my 360 (about 9 months or so ago) and am still playing it, i have Call of duty 3 on preorder which comes out in 2 days .And here is a strange fact, and what i predicted, the PS3 has got Call of Duty 3 coming for it too, but guess what, it is just the 360 version ported onto the PS3, no, it is not a complete redo and the graffics are going to be the same! $600 for a system which most games are going to be just a port from a cheaper console =-S Yey Ben

I have AdSense on my site, and my visitors/members actually like it It displays very relevant ads because it is easy to detect the genre of my site. As long as they aren't too obvious and your attention isn't brought to it, i would put them on :(You have alot of different options on how to display the ads, many of which actually (in my opinion) make your site better. You don't really notice Xisto's ads, they have quite a good set up.As for the sign up, just bite the bullet and do it, once it is done you can put AdSense on all and every site you want. The amount you get is disappointing from looking at the page views, my site has 24,900 or so page views on the clock with only a small amount of $ being made (In the two $** range )Hope this gives abit of information

The problem with this is work to cash ratio, to get any real money out of selling a domain you will need a big member and traffic base and a good rank on the search engines. Once this is achived you have put in an aweful lot of time and effort, it isn't really just buy - sell - buy - sell

I heard about this game quite abit of time ago, but it was still way back in development, and i didn't know if it had come out. I think it looks like a great game, but i imagine it could get boring after a few hours. I wish it where out for Xbox 360. It is on Sony Playstation 2.

As jlhaslip said, but you don't have to buy through Xisto - Web Hosting (a good choice however) (just didn't want you to think that other domains are incompatible or something).If the server goes down, if someone puts in your domain, it will still go to your **Down** site. The options for a domain (with most registers) is that they have a control panel where you can set redirects, email addresses etc... OR**Recommended**You can reset the "Name servers" to NS1.Trap17.com and NS2.Trap17.com , and then manage your domain from your site hosting panel. I have done a quick one (If you like the style i can improve it quite alot), it is similar to that one, but no pulsing, but if you like it etc. i could probably do it. I am not too skilled with banners Anything you want changed just ask (And there is no boarder on this one)

As pleno said, i would use phpnuke. If you don't like, or don't want to use that, you can install phpBB and then the smartor Ezportal mod, and then modify that until you like it. You can add basically anything you want to that. Here is ours http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

Ok, Keri-j, i have toned down that glossy feeling of the sig, i think it looks better, good suggestion.Random dood, i am still trying to figure out how i can blend these types of renders, i can see blending a render like the one in your sig, but if i apply a similar effect to a ghost recon, metal gear solid etc..... it just wouldn't look right, what do you suggest, I have been looking for a blending technique for a subtle blend for these type of sigs. (I am using gimp)I have improved the render, it had bits of white etc. and got that out and improved the overall quality of the render.As for the light, i can't do much, i have experimented with the lighting on gimp and it always (with render affecting lighting) distorts the render.As for being too big, , how much too big are we talking, because it is only 4 Pixels bigger than your sig and that is because it has a 2 Pixel boarder.EDIT::: GOE, sorry, you posted as i was writing / editing. I will try some different colored overlays, to see if i can get something which goes better, as for the blending i cant figure this out :(EDIT, EDIT::: Got photoshop CS2 now, it is like starting over again, my sigs suck. Coolduck, thanks for the comment, this sig took about 20-30 minutes, but i used a pre rendered render. I used gimp with a few different brushes from deviantart. A good site for tutorials on gimp, which makes it very simple is http://www.gimp-tutorials.com/.Rvalkass, i have been looking for tutorials on what to do with the render, all i ever seem to find is Photoshop tutorials (im using GIMP), i have looked through every page on gimp-tutorials.com and still havn't found any useful ones for this theme of sig (found one on how to make a spiderman type sig have burn out kinda edge to it)For this sig, what type of effect would you suggest?

Ok, so i have taken all the comments and criticisms and tried to amend them all, I'm doubtful i have, but here goes. Again, i want more comments and criticism's!

I think it is a really nice skin, works well with the banner. As Saint Micheal said, having a search button would be an improvement or a note saying press enter.I guess this is just my preference, but i think that it would be nicer if the "Newsflash" box was down with the newest users and whos online boxes.I also would also disable the links if you click on, under syndicate, the rss and opml because that also has a parse error.
