I am looking forward to the launch and will be deciding then if i will be buying one. I think it has potential but depends on two things (for me) how well the controller works, and which game developers and what genres are on the drawing board for the console.And one thing that will tip the scales abit, i think it would look good next to my 360

(I have added Clessi's vote for mitch) I voted for TrueFusion, his, to me looks professional, uncluttered, and is interesting and easy on the eye's, it was a hard choice though

Thanks Avalon, i am still trying to fathom the whole blending thing, (im a n00b to gimp and sigs in general) ill try again tonight, i can't seem to find any tutorials explaining blending, whenever i do a background with similar colors to the render it seems to get "lost" in the background somwhat.I will cut down on the size of my boarders, thanks again.

I did two more sigs today, i have been getting frustrated with GIMP, so i have kinda given up on an earlier one (a counterstrike sig) which i havn't shown but needs some work but i cannot be bothered. Anyway i think these two came out quite well, i downloaded some more brushes which i have used on these two. Any constructive comments and critisism's are welcome

Im no expert by anymeans, but to my untrained eye it looks great! Looks really profesional and really nice. I have one small thing that i think could be improved, the text underneath clessi, is quite hard to read, i think a slight increase in the font size or a change of font would make it much easier to see.My rating would be a 8.7 out of 10

It already knows to put it in the public_html folder, if you want people to access your forum via yourdomain.info/forum write in that box "/forum/"and then go onto the subdomains set up and set up a subdomain redirect forum.yourdomain.info to yourdomain.info/forum/Hope this helps

Yeah im using GIMP, where do i find that, i really need to find a site which explains each feature, do you know of any? I just tryed it without the scan lines, it does look better. Another friend who is trying to learn wanted me to send him one, so this is what i came up with. Thanks Ink, i actually wrote the title before it was done, and was predicting it to be horriable, i have changed it to "not the best of sigs" :lol:I was going to be doing another tonight of a pic of my truck, but it started raining :(Ill do another one at about 10 tonight (uk time)

Now how would i blend the render, just abit of blur around the edges i will experiment with the text abit

Thanks, i am going to try another one later today, but i will be using my own picture of my truck, so that the sig can be for my forum :(I have a question (since you seem quite/very experienced) the way i built it up was with the red swirly bit as a layer, then a layer of randomness, using a lot of different brushes, all black, but when i tried to change the color balance of that layer, nothing changed, whats up with that

So, i thought that i have been depriving myself of the knowledge of making sigs for too long, so i had my first attempt, i have done abit with photo shopping and photo editing (all in gimp) but never a sig. So i made a sig in GIMP, i also (for the sig) made a pattern for scan lines which seemed to work well.
