Hey,The best way to learn flash is to check out flashkit.com, it has everything from tutorials and flash movies and sounds. You can even download fla files and see how things are done. I get a real feeling that most people don't write their scripts from scratch anymore. They just alter other peoples.

I would suggest you use illustrator or photoshop and imageready for gif animations or flash. No one really uses fireworks anymore and from what i rememeber the resulting file is a complete mess which can't alway be imported into all other programs. Now i only say this if you planning on selling you logos to others and may need to send them the original files. I've used both illustrator and freehand so the programs are almost identical in terms of what they can do and even how they do it. tutorials, i have no idea about but the macromedia site is always a good place to start. If you are interested in flash http://www.flashkit.com/ is the best place to be.

I was wanting to add a game to my site and was wondering if it would be better and easier to create one using flash or director. I have an idea for a very simple wrestling game but i'm not sure where to start. Is there someplace where i can get a very simple intro to game programming.thanks

Best PPC option Which is the best Pay-per-Click option?
round replied to googlue's topic in Online Advertising
The best out there right now is still goto. I believe the search engine feeds tons of other sites and we've hade the best results. Depending on the catagorie your in it really doesn't cost that much to keep yourself at the top of the ranking pile. There's also whenu which is just basically spyware advertizing but the results were surprizing. -
I notice that some graphic programs (like Quake) rely upon the floating =point hardware. Does anybody know why?As far as I can see, graphic programs use two kinds of data:1: A value describing the color of a pixel. Normally up to 24 bits, which= may be a length suitable for being moved by a floating point processor, but will= not be subject to FP computations.2: Two or three integers indicating a point's coordinates in space. = Normally 16 bits should suffice, but in extreme cases 32 bits may be used.So why use a FP processor? For integer computations on coordinates?Or does anybody know about any real FP data?
