  1. Thanks for the feedback everyone. I think I will go with something smaller than full screen. I agree it may be too much for the eyes. I also forgot I wanted to add some menus to it and having a full screen would take away from this.
  2. It is true that many different cultures and civilizations have made the same 2012 prediction. Will the world end? I don't think so. There will be major changes I believe but still I am only a person and cannot tell what that may be. The Mayans were incredibly accurate with their calender especially for their time. As for the Mayan's being pagen that really has nothing to do with anything. Every religion has a right to be in existence, no matter how much people say God is everything.
  3. I want the image to take up the entire page. It will be on the first few pages of my website. It is a picture of a TV with my website name on it. It will be used as sort of an introduction page. Someone mentioned not making it a fixed size. How do I make it adjustable? Is it an HTML script I have to use to make it vary in size depending on the users screen?
  4. i have a photoshop 7.0 disk that is scratched beyond belief and wont install on my computer. But on my other computer which is on a home network i have the photoshop program installed. Does anyone know how to share that on my computer? Is it possible? If so how? I am using windows XP by the way.

    Hello ^^

welcome to trap! I love it here. People are so helpful and it is great hosting. Hope you like it here.
  6. I got sick of Civ IV pretty quick. I totally agree about the AI cheating deal. One minute there are no AI units around, next thing I know I'm under attack by 20 units. It SUCKS. There are some redeming features to the game but I would much rather play Civ III. Maybe it is because I am so used to it or maybe because it really was better, I don't know. I would love a re-vamped Civ V. Come on sid I know you can do it
  7. I want to use an image on the first few pages on my website. I am going to use photoshop to edit it but what size do I make the image to fit the screen? I know many people use different sizes for resolution so I am not sure what to do. I want it to fit the majority of the screen so do I make it 600x800 or some other number?
  8. I've got about 5 inches of fresh snow up here in CT. If I had a decent camera I would show you. My sister lives in DE and says they close school for 1 inch of snow because of all the one way streets in Wilmington. Up here it takes 4 to 5 inches to even think about school closings.
  9. I'm not doing anything that requires windows, I just thought it was OS specific. So what do I need to start a package, credit wise I mean. Things are a little confusing. I see that it costs a certain amount of $ each month but what do I need to start one? I have $14.00 credit, can I start one now? And if it goes by monthly, does that mean I have a month to come up with the MyCents needed to keep my site?
  10. How do I find out how much credits it takes to get hosted for windows? I went to the Xisto - Support page and went to order. For windows there is just 3 options and it doesnt say how much credits I need. I want to get hosted and get working on my website but I really need to know how many credits I need.
  11. I have to make a separate CSS style sheet to do this right? I understand that the first part goes in the body, but the CSS I am still a little confused about.
  12. I went to Xisto and saw that i do have a $10.00 balance there. Just one question, am I able to use the credits earned there to open a website whether I post here or there? Since there is the Xisto billing area I am assuming that i can use it to get hosted no matter where I post, but I just want to be sure.
  13. It costs to use these codes though doesn't it? That's what it looks like to me anyway. I don't have money to donate to see the codes so I will use other methods
  14. can java just be added to a regular HTML page or is there something special I need to do? I nothing of java script. From the page you directed me to Veradesigns, it looks like all HTML. But I have to use CSS also. It looked a little confusing at first, I need to take a better look at it. It has been over a year since I did any programming and I wasn't that great to begin with
  15. i started the service but i needed to use a thing called Crimson Editor to get the .php extension. I was also pointing it to a folder in www directory so I put it just straight into the www directory. now when i go to LOCALHOST/test.php it worked. (test was the name i gave the script)
  16. I have installed the latest version of Wamp but I cant figure out how to use it. I made a folder called 'hello' in the www folder. I went to wordpad and made the small little 'echo hello' script. I go to http/localhost/hello.php and nothing. Am I doing something wrong. Do I need a special program to make php scripts so the extension is .php? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  17. I have to say family guy. I love the simpsons but they are not as cutting edge as family guy is. They don't care about offending people, just are straight forward. And when they slip in the little flashbacks... I love that. Family Guy can be rude and crude sometimes but that is what makes it so great. Simpsons were great when i was a kid and they first came out and probably cutting edge in its time too. But for now, I'd have to say FAMILY GUY RULES!!!!
  18. I want to make a drop down menu and I thought I could do it with PHP. I only know HTML and some CSS and have been working on learning PHP. Is there a good place to find examples without having to search through every page? I'm tired of going to sites only to have to search forever and not even find anything. I know W3School is a good site but I don't see anything about drop down menus. So what I am really looking for is a good place with lots of examples of a variety of scripts.
  19. O.K. I installed Wamp but I have a question. You said test pages using the www folder. I made a quick folder called hello in the www folder to just check out the echo hello function but all it did was make a folder. How do I use wamp? It is a little confusing to me. Do I just open this folder and put in my script then open it? What exactly do I have to do? It's been a while since I've used things like this. I'm just getting back into programming so sorry if these seem like stupid questions.
  20. The Cardnials hurry up offense in the 4th was working well. If they could of had something like that earlier they may have had a chance. The penelties killed them though, as well as the outstanding interception to end he half. I didn't think that guy was gonna get up after a run like that. Defense weren't ment to run that far. Great job by both teams though
  21. i just watched something the other day about Mt. St. Helens exploding. They totally miscalculated its eruption. It blew out the side instead of the top. One person knew about it and was trying to gather more information on it when it erupted with him right where it erupted
  22. I have the exact opposite effect with coffee (or anything caffeinated). I was told at one point in my adult life that I have adhd and caffeine has the opposite effect as most people. Ridilin is just like caffeine. People hate it when I don't drink my coffee, I am almost in a manic state. It helps me sleep actually
  23. I just scored 52 also. Only a little bit of a problem. I'm glad, I was getting a bit worried
  24. i just re-installed windows xp so no more problems. Just wont let others use my computer so if it messes up I know what went wrong. Darn roomates
  25. I keep getting an error message saying FLTLIB.DLL is not present when I try to install some programs. I get it every time when I try to install Ad-Aware anniversary edition. I've gotten the same message for other things too. Any ideas what this is and why it isnt there?
