If you want to make your own script,then you may learn a bit programming language,such as c/c++.I learnt C first,and I spent 2 days to be familiar with PHP.

don't use software firewalls (besides XP's) becasue I have 2 routers with built in firewalls. The software just makes it all more complicated becasue it won;t let me FTP through 4 firewalls and it blocks many other stuff

I use Norton. I guess it's good since I haven't got hacked yet . Every once in a while it says it's blocked a trojan attack, but I assume it was probably just some program trying to use a common trojan port.

FlashGet is the best! Especially the new version. Now it supported Mirror search which automatically search for the fastest server available for the fastest possible downloads,but it doesn't support for streaming links... mms/rtsp while NetTransport does... & they almost have the same interface like I said before.

would have probably gone out for cable, except for a tiny technicality. My place is already saturated with cable subscribers all from the same company, and that means whatever speed benefits it offers, in the end we have to share the bandwidth amongst ourselves

like phpBB. It's not the best, there should be more features. But it's very easy and nice. With styles you can make it look good.But i think that ipb may be the best. it's better than phpbb, i know. i haven't used vbullentin, so i don't know.

I have no idea about that.But even though you've got 128MB RAM,no one program can use up all of them.It's impossible to let one program control all of the RAM, the operating system controls this.In old time,DOS mode,It's only 64KB,or even less.

yeah, that is one solution and probably the simplest one.But as i told u there are 3 solutions in all. Can u figure out the other two?should take a little more time than the earlier one
