I use my desktop at a resolution of 1024 X 768 and I love it.Use it for a while and the 800X600 seems too large. Use an even higher resolution and even the 1024X786 starts looking big. My monitor doesn't support anything more than 1024X768.

I just recently bought the S500i the latest slider phone from Sony Ericsson and I simply love it!!! The phone's all flashy and so youthful!!!I earlier had the Sagem Mx6 (has anyone heard of it??).Untill recently all four members of my family had Sagem phones:My dad --Sagem MyX7My Mom --Sagem MyX1My sis --Sagem MyX6-2ME --Sagem MyX6That was untill I want ahead and broke the tradition and got myself a SE phone.

the best feature of gmail is that username+something@gmail.com is the same email address as username@gmail.comi.e. an email address like qwerty12+mailinglist@gmail.com is the same as qwerty12@gmail.com So you could give qwerty12+mailinglist@gmail.com when you sign up for some particular mailing list and setup your gmail account to either lable/archieve/forward/delete all mails sent to qwerty12+mailinglist@gmail.comA better and more practical example that I use is:My actual email ID is myusername@gmail.com But I've given myusername+orkut@gmail.com to ORKUT. People must know just how many emails orkut can generate in a day! I've got a filer that directly archieves all mails from myusername+orkut@gmail.com Therefore my inbox remains clean.Don't know whether other mailing services give that kind of flexibility!

It was in the main directory (the public_html folder) itself. Wonder how it missed my eye. I have another problem. When I try to create an email address, it tells me that I have exhausted my maximum limit for email addresses whereas I haven't created any and the cpanel shows 0/unlimited!!!! Don't know whether this problem was persistent before the hack so I'm not saying this topic has anything to do with it. But please help me out.

The default installation of WP is hardly 3MBs. Probably even my password was affected. But I managed to pool up some credits and got my password changed.Let me bring to your notice that while doing so, after I had put my forum username and pass, the page said something to the tune of:Account verified.....Changing Password.....Do not reload.....could not change password...But then my password did change to the new one.When I then logged into my cpanel my disc space usage was 20/20MB. I thoroughly enjoyed this format of the game. Mahendra Singh Dhoni's captaincy and the prize find of Rohit Sharma wrere the highlights of this world cup. The world cup had a very fitting final. It couldn't have got better than India vs Pakistan. pakistan bowled well to restrict India to a decent total. India fought back well to put Pakistan in a tight spot.Then Pakistan fought back into the match untill Misbah gave his wicket away. But you can't blame him for the defeat. He was under immense pressure. He couldn't have taken a single as that would have brought Asif to strike!On the whole the entire team contributed well. It was dhoni's first series as captain and that too the world cup and he did well to win it. Wonder whether Dhoni will be able to continue the good work when he has seniors like Sachin, Sourav and Dravid under him. There will be ego clashes that were not seen in the present team.Thw win comes at a time when the BCCI is under threat from the ICL. Therefore BCCI's giving out loads of prizes to teh playing 14 (Yuvraj to get a Porche 911 turbo!!!!). GO India GO!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice tutI was addicted to Sudoku till some time ago. But then it seemed t become passe with experience. But then I saw Kakuro and got hooked onto it. It really is the evil older brother. Sure makes my early mornin visit to loo much more interesting.The bigger the puzzle, the more interesting it gets.There've been a few variations too. Yesterday I saw a sudoku with 16x16 squares with numbers from 1-9 and A-F. Can get a bit more time comsuming but as simple nevertheless.But who started Sudoku still remains a mystery. It is long past the time when cell phones were just communicating devices. At a time when the midrange wagon on the cell phone express is the buzziest, I was firm on staying onto the low-end wagon. I was firm I didn’t need a smartphone. But needs and wants are meant to change. Particularly speaking, the change is always on the ‘increasing’ side. One look at the majestic S500i, and I did jump into the 10k wagon. A look at these pics would tell you why: Looks and Build Quality While the build quality can be a matter of concern over a period of time, the looks are simply astonishing. Can’t think of another phone that can match the looks of the S500i. Since the phone si supposedly ‘inspired by nature’, SE has taken extreme efforts to make this phone special. The phone flaunts some flashy lights at the sides, a la 3220, except that they look much more classy! The phone comes to life during an incoming call. You have a default theme which changes according to the time of the day and the current season. I’ll be writing a special post on it soon. I’ve bought the phone amidst speculations that the aluminium keys crack on use!! But I’ve had the phone for a month now and (bless my stars!), the keypad’s still perfect. SE replaced all faulty phones and the new ones don’t crack. Audio Output The earphones provided with the package aren’t the ones provided with the walkman phones and I must say they don’t sound as good either. But you could always upgrade those. The phone manages to squeeze a speaker under the circular navigation keys! This helps deliver sound in all directions. Another breakthrough innovation in design!! Connectivity The phone has Bluetooth v2.0 and it also supports A2DP. This means you could pair it with stereo wireless headsets and also play music through another BT device with speakers! SE also packages the regular USB cable. Entertainment and Multimedia The inbuilt music player is very similar to that of the walkman phones. The ‘Play Now’ is an added feature which allows you to download music, ringtones and stuff in just 3 clicks. All regular games to play on the S500i but none of em make use of the lighting effect on the phone. We’ll have to wait for SE to release games customized for the phone. Salient Features Set 5 different alarms at a time. Customize the lights. i.e. choose a particular colour for individual contacts, choose whether the phone lights up during an coming call when it is in silent mode etc. Video Ringtones Separate tone for individual callers. Voice Dialling Voice Answer Flight mode RSS reader 2.0 MP camera with video recording. Now the –ves: Aluminium keys feel brittle. Small key size could cause problems to some. Not a 3G phone. No EDGE. The Package contains:Phone, USB cable, manual, charger, SE PC suite CD, HPM-62 handsfree kit. Conclusion: This phone is all about bling. Tailor made for the youth, it is sure to make heads turn. With little or no negatives, it is sure to be the next big thing!!!

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!! Apple usually are perfect at whatever little they do. Hence, I take immense pleasure in bashing them up. So why did Steve & Co. decide to give the MMS feature a skip?? And no 3G as well. Whats so “breakthrough” about not having 2 of the most basic communication options which everybody is offering. No video recording either. Also, why cant I pair to any other device to transfer at least photos and stuff, if not music. Also, the camera should have had some more settings and a larger pixel rating. 3.2 is the de-facto standard these daysBut, I think most of these problems will be solved by means of Firmware updates. Or maybe the next generation of iPhones. Which was precisely why I chose to buy the SE P1i and not the Apple iPhone.Another flaw I see is that there's no copy-paste!!!!!!Agreed the phone is just for the At&T network but it can be easily cracked to work on any network!But the sexy screen is worth the price they've put up for it. Maybe the next varient will be much better and Apple will be able to plug all loopholes!!All in all the iPhone is an amazing device and it has certainly raised the bar in many aspects and the way we go about managing our business on a phone. One more thing it has successfully managed to do is that it has pushed every other manufacturer back to the drawing board. Expect better phones from everybody now. This is going to be good in the end for, you, the consumer. Till then, chew the Apple!

I think the ibAwards is a necessity. It will create incentives for users to be regular at the forum. But the problem I see is that only the senior people will get rewards. You should have something for newbies too!Digg is a great place to publicise your work. Especially for a place like Xisto, Digg could do wonders. It also has neat small buttons which blend into your page. I seriously root for these two mods!!

Can't we just award points for putting up our banners on people's sites?? Something like say 10 points per month for a horizontal banner. 12 per month for a vertical skyscraper and stuff.Those who would want to show their support for Xisto should get rewarded for it.We could have a competition on creating banners for Xisto too. The user can then choose which banner he wants on his site!!!

Sony Ericsson is comming up with many flashy phones these days. The sexy S500i leads the pack.The keys of the T650i are too small and very unconventional. And I must say the phone is not photogenic coz it looks much better in hand than in the pics above
