I just broke my own site trying to upgrade it. Anybody want to help me figure out what the problem is?

This is a nice looking site.  Nevertheless, I only have one comment.

 

When you hit the content button, a menu opens (with available options), and the whole page restarts to main.  I mean, what's the use of having a tree in the contents button if it goes directly (and automatically) to the main page??!

I'm sorry about that, I'm trying to make a DHTML menu for the site, that is compatible with the panel I'm using right now. I got visual basic, so now I'll try some combo sql and DHTML action, anyone want to help me?

I just have a whole block on my site that loads with every page of sites I see and like, and banner exchanges. It's crazy

one problem is that my computer is loaded, so it takes like 9 minuites to boot. I can't wait untill I get a desktop, and just use my laptop for travel...

try using internet explorer, it deals with ftp connections slightly better.

i used the w+ method....however i solved the problem. for future reference: i loged into my ftp by typing the ftp in the mydocuments address bar and then loggin in. then i changed the permission to write for others and groups on the txt file!

I'd say gmail. I just love my 2.5 GB of space. I use it all the time, but I kind of want some upload space, or a notepad or something, kinda like, do I dare say it?... YAHOO!!!!

hehe, I actually had the same exact problem. The most common problem is that there is no compatability with service pack two. Try downloading the install package on a friend's computer, and then just put it on a floppy. Hope that sovles your problem, but that's what happened to me.

I suggest PHP. Using the "echo" command, you can use HTML in these pages, while still having functionality. Also, there are many shortcuts, like an e-mail form, SQL qwertys, and more.For example:

Wow, if those are real, I can't wait till the new graphic cards come. My guess is that in the next ten years they will have amazingly realistic graphics. I just want to know what the PS3 will look like.

yeah, you have to use a WEP key, and also, I found this neat program called airsnare, you can download it off download.com. It gets everyone accessign your wireles router, web and wirelessly. If that fails, try some kind of firmware that only lets certain computers access the router.

I like avast home edition combined with zone alarm, they go together well.

You know, why have a black box, if your computer detected the changes ahed of time and changed it back? still, black boxes in a computer would be cool, but you woulden't need them if an error was stopped in the first place. That's one of my little secret projects. It just doesent make sence to me.

I know, my school forces us to "learn the basics" AGAIN. Why do I want to review how to save a docunment when I have a couple hundred on my web site!!! I learned that stuff in elementry school, and they want me to do it again, when I can be found after school with my palm pilot tapping into the school's network on AIM. Wow.
