I rather not use frames ( I know how to use them I ain't new into html m8, still thx for explaining it ), div's and php works for me. I dont get you either what do you ,ean does the page loads itself again if you go to a link? That should not happen the only thing that should refresh is the content, -
Nice work there m8, Real nice shots you have there I totaly like the sunflower :rolleyes:Keep up the good work man....

mhh works oke here, strange -
No root pass and root as default login is kinda unsafe but that up to you, I sure hope your machine is not in a lan or is running some net services. I guess you never did hear about "sudo"

First of all you dont need to register to download linux (your free to do so if you want) Second of all some distro's are asking money since linux is free as in free will not as in free beer they are free to do so To view information about linux and for downloads visit: http://iso.linuxquestions.org/ If you are using mac, yellow dog is default ppc distro
-
main login as root Kinda *BLEEP* what you saying there, most linux distro's today are realy easy to install almost the same as windows (mandrake, fedora, suse ect) and will log you into the gui for default, so no need for: bash$ user bash$ pass bash$ startx Sure there are distro's for which you need more skill to handle like, debian, slackware and gentoo but overall the people that are using those know how to use it

Best NFS series? - Which is the best Need fer Speed serie
pbrugge replied to Milli Riba's topic in Computer Gaming
I sure liked high stakes best, I guess because of the campaign. I never tried 6 and 7 so no word about that, I can say wich one I think is worse doh :rolleyes:Porsche Unleashed is imo the worste NFS ever only 1 car no fun tracks and bad handling in all cars but thats just my oppinion -
Even knowing I never realy liked wysiwyg editors I must say DW is a good program (much better as frontpage imo) to use for a site. to be sure you code is correct visit w3c to validate it,
-
Ihave tried a few in the past and its hard to tell which one is best,typo3 is nice but since its using its own scripting language the learncurve is kinda highphp-nuke looked nice had lots of features still I did not like the box methode it usesxoops almost same as php-nuke only easier to costimice imoI realy cant tell waht is the best since it realy depents on what you need or want, if you know how to code (php, asp or java) you could write your own cms manager which fits your needs but most people think (and I agree with them mosttimes) why should I reinvent the wheel if its already out there

I managed to login my cpanel but I cannot do anything with it What ever option I click I only get an big Alert on my screen saying: It does not matter what option I try all give same error. HTML COPYRIGHT this is the biggest debate want opinions
pbrugge replied to Saint_Michael's topic in General Discussion
I agree copyright on pure (x)html is strange and to be honoust I never seen it, Oke I see allot of "copyright by: blabla" at page footers but thats for the design and content of the page aka text, drawings, pictures ect and to have copyright on your own drawings, pictures and text (as in dont copy without asking me first) is kinda logical imo -

Personal Comp Vs Pre-made which do you do or prefer?
pbrugge replied to spawn_syxx9's topic in Hardware Workshop
Build my own systems,You have more controll on whats getting in you system, you learn how things work and how they connect. You can tweak your system as you please and if something breaks you only take out the broken part and dont need to bring the whole pc to a shop for repairing. -
True if you are comfortable using these packages it is hard to switch but overall linux comes with great software to and not only opensource stuff: Quanta, for websites (free) Gimp+GAP, for images and animated gifs/movies (free) Maya, pro 3d design (non-free) Acad, pro 2-3d technical design like autocad (non-free) The only thing I could never find was a good flash editor for it if anyone knows a good one please keep me in mind
-
My favorite downloadmanager is prozilla an opensource linux dl-manager with nice features imo Ow for the few windows users on this forum In windows my altimes fav is flashget also a nice dl-manager with lots and lots of options ( most you will never use )
