heh, reminds me of a speech i had to make beginning of this year, it was about me, and the main thing was how much i hate preps..i swear that speech was all about how i hate preps and their preppyness and their "I think i am everything attitude" it gets annoying! and their laughs, OMG dont even get me started on those they have the most annoying and LOUD laughs in the world!!i also hate wanna-be gangsters. but thats better than being a prep..most of the preps at my school are all blondes..doesn't supprise me because they are all stupider than the dirt under the rock in my backyard..imo (in my opinion) they can all rot in erm heck..lmao i hate not being able to say some words without being pentalized!

i think that shuting it down manually as you call it would be more benefical than hardbooting it, becauseA it gives all the programs a chance to shut down propperlyandB it's not overloading the system with to many commands..but i might if you have allot of things running you know like saying to one person (shut yahoo down! now msn! not ie! now firefox! lol) just another ceazy thought by the one and only me..but i alternate alllot of the times..if im in a hurry to get my computer back on i will hardboot it, wait 10 seconds then turn it back on, it goes faster than waiting for windows to save settingss etc..

personally i hated Gmail from the begining because of the layout..on my hotmail i cant stand it..too slow, and i dont like the layout..for my yahooo i love it, i never get any spam, well i do, but it is always sent to my junk folder..and i just empty itfor hotmail, allot of the important e-mails are sent to the junk folder, when i have not had that happen to me in Yahoo..i also really like yahoos layout, its plain and simple, not many ads on my part..or atleast that i pay attention to they are all on placed i dont look so i never see them, but for hotmail theri smack dab in the middle

this is a script used to tell you or visitors how fast your page was generated for the person who is viewing it... Ok it is verry simple!! all you have to do is put this script on every page... that you want it to be on <?php$starttime = explode(' ', microtime());$starttime = $starttime[1] + $starttime[0];?> and put it before everything on the page, for me i put it right underneith the DOCTYPE script which i think is a bloody waste of space to have it on there, but anyways.. i put it right below that and it works fine!! now where you want the time it took for the page to load to show put this script, generally at the bottom of the page, i put it at the evrry end right before the </html> tag <?php$mtime = explode(' ', microtime());$totaltime = $mtime[0] + $mtime[1] - $starttime;printf('Page loaded in %.3f seconds.', $totaltime);?> you can center that, put a box around it and all that change the text of what it shows wether it shows Page Generated in.... or if it says somthing else simply edit the stuff in bold here ALSO, please note that the page you are putting this code on should be a .php oage because it is a php script that it is being used

nnope the script does not work in firefox, they have their own preset scrollbar that keeps it the same color no matter what

oh, well i managed to set half of it up in outlook.. i could read the mail just not replay to it or nething..so i dont know maybe if anyone ever responds to this it could help me to, ive been meaning to post a topic on it but never got the chance to

well on a program someone posted on here.i ran my site through it and fixed all the placed where the tags were not opened and closed as in <div> and </div> i dont see he point in opening and closing them, but i guess it must be done, im going to get a book from the library that might advance my knowledge in this stuff a little more than it allready is although i think i am pretty knowledagable except for this stuff, @ Avalon, thanx for pointing that out! ill have a look at them and check to make sure they are all the same >_< i prolly would have never noticed!by the way, i got it all fixed and it can be viewed in firefox now, strange how the tags openeing and closing can effect the way the page is viewed in different browsers.. but oo wellthanks for all the help!!

i do not believe that the router would cause any problem with it, because it is just another way to get a connection of internet..but i do not see why this would be happenening..are you sure you have the right port?i am semi replying to this because i have the same issue, are you trying to set it up in Outlook?

blah @ even three! i want all my programs that i want there, so when i am editing a page or somthingi dont need to close all 10 windows i have open to get to the desktop and click my FTP manager, i have it right there on the menu and zap it opens up :-D sometimes i love computers, but the case with my CD writer! curse its guts! danged delll parts!! btw i gifted you 30 credits enjoy your site its looking better than the llast one!

kind of off the topic, but my uncle was in jail a while back and he said that, pretty much any new comber to the jail has been raped by practicly anyone who has been there for a long time and is desperate to get somthing, fortunatly he hung out with the right crowd..and got out unharmed lmao

i aint no nature freak, but a nuclear explosian can really effect allot of ecosystems and really screw up the balance of nature, meaning somthing like it could kill all the plants in a given area, or poisin the plants within a 5,000 mile radius of the explosion site, and without the plants the herbivores (plant eaetrs) cannot ear and so they die off and then the conumers have nothing to eat, and then the secondary consumers (us) have nothing to eat..basicly a huge screw up..and if ever there was an "accidental" nuclear explosion, i feel sorry for the country it happened to..lets jus pray osoma bin laden tnever gets his hands on any of those or we're screwed right up the alley (clean term for somthing )and germany is jsut..wow no offense but teenagers can drink alchahol at an early age there..along with a few other places but germany most of all..and if they have connections lord knows i just fear the futre some day

more info could be found here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_elevator although it might be dangerious, i would be willing to be the first person to do it.. i do not believe that we would have to worry about leaving the atmosphere because nothing really happens there except pushing up against gravity verry heavily, but coming back down into earth at no matter rate we would have to pass through a few unsafe things, but if they can make a spaceship pretty much deflect it, i think that in the future *not too far out* they will have a material that will deflect fire, and keep it from melting in any way shape or form..but like i said, i would be more than willing to try it out..even if i make it half way up there i am sure the sight would be magnificent..but no matter what consequences i still think it would be totaly awsome to have like a hotel up there lmao!

Today during lunch, i was hanginng out with my math teacher and he was talking about plans on building an elevator that leads into outer space!!personally i think this would be total awsome!! but here is how it would be donw,ok, welll as some of us know once you reach a certin point in space gravity gives awayand instead of pulling down towards the planet, it pulls away from the planet.. and so the ideal is to get a HUGE weight, probably like a humongus space station or somthing big n heavy and putting it right outside of the earths geosynchronous orbit (which is: basicly the last part of the atmosphere... but defined by wikepedia! it is A geosynchronous orbit is a geocentric orbit that has the same orbital period as the sidereal rotation period of the Earth. It has a semi-major axis of 42,164 km [1] Thanx!)so now, wit that counterweight they would have all of the mechanics i would imagine up there with a cable built up of material with a super high tensile strength..i think my teahcer said it was somthing like microorganisms or somthing like that.. but the cable would span from earths surface to the counterweight in space with an elevator that basicly went up and down hat cable..people would prefer this over using rockets..i think it would be safer..i had a question but it was answered--the weight in space would move around with the earth, so i wouldn't stay in one place...i think it would be much better to do this..less polution! and they can have things take off from a platform in space >_< that would be soo coolli also thing it would be cool if you could pay to go up there and stay for a while!i hope somthing like this does happen before i die! hehe

i think it would be quite expensive also, having to buy a completley news disk drive... i think it would be cool to have one of those, just not upfront, i would want bugs to be worked on it before i buy it and have it brake on me and not be able to return it or whatever, but i think this is a good ideal that someone came up with, scratch proof..lol i dont think anything is scratch proof..cuz some way someone can scratch it..but maybe its not.

i read them sometimes, mostly i read in the other posts in the vent, just because it is verry interesting to hear what other people have to say about the problem/the rant..then i reply, but in other posts i just generaly read the first and last 3 posts and skim through the rest of the posts..then i post..some of the posts are jsut wayy tooo long to read through when the post is useless, but i suppose that is what you get for people who are trying to get their credits up..like me i kind of enlongated the post when i could have made it allot shorter than what it is now!!
