mysql_select_db ("blog",$db); if this is on the Xisto server, your database name should start with prefix(mostly your cpanel username) e.g. this format "username_blog". even though you can use "blog" as a database name on local server but on Xisto must have username prefix.

for html form, link1 and link2. basically, post method call user agent(outlook) and the action is set to mailto: so that it straight away called the system default mail program which enctype might not compliant. it's same meaning as direct mailto:"mail" if i'm not wrong.. try some php form mail under tutorial forum and google..

i was on my way of implementing classifieds ads using php and mysql. but not auction. auction will be more complicated, i thought. my script is still under development. it base on very simple layout and category. photos section also included. i try to run on server soon. for the auction, the time function and bidding calculation might be the most tricky parts.. i m interesting on it!

well, i help myself about this.. okay, i've successfully installed CGI-MySQL ikonboard at last. There are so tricky in installation process. here is runing action of Ikonboard on Xisto server. I've captured few screenshots and posted over that board. And i also would like to highlight here about ikonboard database switchable feature screenshot.. which i like very much!! It's can compete to IPB and vB. Somemore ikonboard is still free. The admin features are almost the same as IPB v2.0.* plus.. hey, check it out.. i'm writing tutorial about how to get successful ikonboard installation also.. later then..

well, on my way of phpbb, i found this development MOD for phpbb.. "Spelling Checker" adaptation of ajax spell checker, actually. so, i hope it can also code inside to IPB too. it's nice spell checker, i've ever seen. Enablling edit function to member's post tally to posting credit module which mean if you edit your post back, there are some credits gain agian by editing the post. That's wut i knew.. Spelling checker will be nice.. OMG, i found one more which look good. It's called phpSpell under GPL.. here is a snap pls check it out.. Notice from BuffaloHELP: I'm merging your three posts. Next time you can ask mods to merge your posts in a row to avoid warns.

hi everyone, I got ikonboard from their main site. I was trying to upload my host and install it. But still i cant figure out yet. I followed all the step accordingly. I guided myself to look help from the help links. The error still showing me is From sever error log, i found this Mostly, this error caused by CHMOD setting but i did configure as the guide said. I will try to re-check all them back. So, if anybody knew about this issue, pls point me out. I believed Xisto have DB_file, DBI perl file and DBD-Mysql perl modules. Correct me if i'm wrong. Anyway, those who dont know how the ikonboard look alike here. And i also heard that the original writer of invisionboard is the same as ikonboard writer. Not so sure.. It looks good. So, i wanna use it thks..

it can be off topic but when you are talking bout Infan View software, i would like to add one tip which is "press B key" for batch conversion(all image formats interchangable)! Sometime you may not need to resize to reduce the image size unless if you particularly needed to specify the size.. during batch conversion, you can have a option to set the image properties to downgrade the image size.. and Batch conversion in Infan View is the best and ever fastest image processing for hundred of photos. try out...

today, i wanna introduce "phpbb auction mod.." here is a main site... it's also one of the best mod. the lastest version (s-project) is introducing totally standalone verion to phpbb. the previous version 1.3m is still as a mod, ported to phpbb. but one comment is that pls read this article before you start using it. there is some security risk as this mod can do something alike bidding and paypal system,etc.. nice day,

hi, i wanna say that it is nice skin but a few things need to highlight, - url bbcoded links cant see in proper(whether it's a link or not) e.g. Xisto <-- this one not look like a link in first look beccause of no underline nor color changes..only when mouse over.. may be need to tweak in css. so if somebody like me wanna talk the way like just speech flow(without showing url), it's not so convenience... perhaps, showing url straight is not allowed by free hosting TOS, if i'm not wrong.. - secondly, missing cursor pilot ahead in textarea; which mean i cant see my cursor in text pad when i m writing because of textarea beckground is dark navy(nearly black) and the poor black cursor is hiding behind that's for now.. pls dun mind to make changes, thks..
