some people are going to take what you said offensively. just because someone might read a lot of books does not mean they should be called a geek or that they are boring. its just doing something you like to do. i know a few people that are a bit boring that like to read, but thats because i dont share their interests. i do not read much but i know many others who read and have other interests similar to mine and are not at all boring or considered geeks.

if only i had the money to spend and buy something like that. but i think if i had $2000 that i had to spend on a computer i would build one on my own. then i can get exactly what i want and would probably be able to find some good prices and put more into my own computer than would come in a pre-made one. but alienware computers are awesome. i wish i could have one.

how long does it take for the script to activate my account again? i have had 7+ hosting credits for a few days now and my site is still suspended...

the major thing that leads people to violence would most likely be how they were brought up. if you have a very tough childhood with poor relationships with family or other people, or if you get abused you are going to be more likely to commit violent acts. i think people are blaming the video game industry just because they need to put a reason out there that people can criticize. taking violence out of video games would destroy the video game industry. there are so many games that have some sort of violence. then after that they will try to take out card/casino games because they will start saying that it makes people want to go gamble and then they will get addicted and we will have more homeless people without any money.

my favorite meal. hmm....for breakfast it would probably be french toastfor dinner i would have to go with some nice steak or burgers (not including mcdonalds burgers or anything cheap like that)

not really a nice topic to think about but i guess a scary place would be stuck in a coffin or somewhere with no way to get out and having absolute silence.

well unless netscape becomes a whole lot better than firefox i do not think i am going to change. i have gotten used to using firefox and i like everything about it. it has all my needs at the moment. so unless the netscape browser becomes the best out there by more than just a little, i am not switching.

i dont see why so many people are in love with sponge bob. to me its just another one of those stupid cartoons. i suggest that you just tell your friend that you dont like sponge bob. maybe wear the watch once so you dont offend her but make sure you tell her. if you dont you might receive more sponge bob gifts in the future. you not liking something your friend does isnt going to do anything to your friendship.

my site was working yesterday but when i tried to go on it today, it says hosting account suspended. i checked my mail and received no notice from Xisto. i came to the forums and i still have 4.04 hosting credits up to this point. can someone please tell me what is wrong so i can fix it and get my site back up?

well please post some information of how you want your banner to look like. post some things like size, color, text, basic look, etc. i might be able to help you.i do think the one you are using now looks good. maybe you should just find some text you like and add it to your current banner, as long as you have bought the rights to edit it from zymic.com, which it looks like you have done.

i usually go with emotions or haha. every once in a while ill say lol but not very often at all. what is really annoying is when people use lol when they are not on the internet. a friend of mine at school says lol sometimes and it just seems awkward when he says it.

they are pretty much the same. cs just has more features than 7.0. probably some extra filters, you can see the effects of many of the filters before actually applying them, and some other things. if you go to the adobe website you could probably find out what they are.

is it really necessary to have everyone post here to say that his account is suspended? i think it has been made clear that it is so quit posting about it. read through the thread before posting so you dont keep writing repeats.

the outer parts look really good. the text needs some style and the middle shouldnt be just plain white. add a little bit of texture in the middle. just so it doesnt look completely white. other than that it looks great

aok is definetely an old game but still has some popularity. about your sig, i think you really need to add some color. without color it is too plain.

i made this a few months ago but i decided i would post it. it is just one of those renders that are all crazy-ish that is colored/brushed in photoshop. its either my 1st or 2nd attempt at this kind of background, im not sure because i havnt made anything in photoshop in a while. its nothing special but what do you all think?

i think its ok. i believe its a strange idea but i guess it works. i think the water drop needs a new texture. try making it more clear with a tint of blue. maybe you could also add something else to the box. it doesnt seem to go along with the drop at all in my opinion. its much better than i can do so good job.

i am creating a website for my mom to use where people in her business can go to to get files, check on events, get info, and other stuff. even though i say business, it is not a big website that is going to receive tons and tons of people visiting it. i am looking for a good paid hosting service that i could use to host the site once i finish it. one host she found recommended is ipowerweb. has anyone used this or know if it is a reliable service? or are there any other good recommendations? thanks

the abstract one still says user posted image.i dont like your matrix sig. first of all, it is way too big to be a sig. reduce the height and it should be okay. the background part is okay, but a little too blurry in my opinion. also, get rid of the outer glow and bevel and emboss on the text and images. i dont think it looks good. try and blend the images into the background. sorry to have all the negatives but it is what i think. i know you said you are more new to this, but we all have to start somewhere. just keep making stuff and follow some tutorials and you will improve quickly.

i agree with all that has been said. once your site is ready, that is, when you have enough content to keep lots of people interested and you have a visually good looking site, you need to promote your site. submitting to search engines is good but you might want to go around to different online communities that have a similar type of theme as your site does. maybe establish yourself there a little and then give out the link to your site (or just post the link right away, but sometimes people wont pay as much attention to someone they have never heard from). i cannot see your site, for some reason when i click the link it takes me to microsoft.com... and also... make sure it is off before you type. typing in all caps is really annoying.

i like it also. i like how you have multiple colors. also the text seems to go well with the sig. its nice. good job
