GREAT DEBATE!.. very nice topic of choice. i'm not religious in any way shape or form.. but nor am i athiest. i belive what i see. and if i ever say god i guess id become a christian.. but anywayz, Intelligent Design is a LOAD OF CRAP!.. last time i checkd, science kind of disproved this theorem with probability and change over time.. and as stated b4 me, just because a lot of people like the idea, doesnt make it work.. if everyone got together and thought ham cured aids, doesnt mean its true.. in any way. there needs to be evidence for something to be believed and moved past the state of a theorem. and how would they teach "gods design"?..... ok, we were put here by god. . . . ok prove it?.... then the class would abruptly end because of the lack of answer... this angers me just enough to speak out against it.. there are 100 religions out there, not all agree on the same god, practice, ways of living, and/or how the earth came to be. and intelligent design only focuses on the christian way. . .what about the muslims or athiests or bhudists?? their "intelligent design" ideas may be far off from these... i think they should seperate church and state a LITTLE further... or at least church and school... thats like religious propoganda for kids.. and thats eff'd up hardcore.. .

The ONLY time when people get some sort of say, is when a HUGE mass of peoples all contact or protest something, and the only reason they listen is because they dont want a national embarrassment on their hands. Ideal democracy has NO standing against IDEAL communism... sharing, equality amongst all, reaping what the nation sow'd.. that sounds way better than listening to a president and his league of idealists that never produce results rant on and on and on.. You may have escaped a corrupted communism which turned to dictatorship, but you entered a new dictatorship, its just masked with promises and ideas. I EFFING LOVE THIS GAME. . . [/i] I bought the game Morrowind (an Elder Scrolls 3 Game) about a year ago... ever since then, ive learned to LOVE the game. I have beaten it at least 3 times actually playing the normal uncheating way. I was wondering what exactly peoples experience with this game has been. I myself was a mage/theif, using alot of telekenisis and lockpicking skills.. The game is a huge game for all the people who havent played yet, it took me quite a while to figure out how to beat it. There is an unlimited amount of possibilities to the game, thats my favorite part of all... you can make your destiny whatever u want. After beating the game a couple times, i just make my own way and tried new things with new potions and weapons.. finding secrets all over the game.. ok well thats my review of the game Morrowind on Xbox, btw i have never played the expansions on the PC or any other platform its supported on.. unfortunatelly.. ur right... for some reason i cant access ANY ftp site directly.. its strange, i can still download from ftp clients obviously to get the ftp client program.. but i cant put it in my browser, nor use it in putty or WS_ftp or Cuteftp ooorrr that ftp commander... grr.. i dont have a firewall on at all.. not even windoze. ahh any suggestions to how i can view the problem or test i could perform would be MASSIVLY appreciated.. thnxxx

ur completely f'in right.. seperation of church and state needs to be showing a little more rift. especially in this new bush reign. i have NO problem with religion at all, in any way... but it needs to stay out of politics. also, religion is one persons belief in something, it should affect someone Elses beliefs or ideas. if someone wants to get married to someone of the same sex, i say go for it.. love is a mysterious thing, can be found in anyone of ANY sex to ANY sex. over half my friends are either bi or *happy* and it really pisses me off whenever i see hatered towards them and that they cant get married unless they go traveling far away to a more accepting state.. its rediculous.. the only reason its "meant" to be a man and woman is because the bible says so..... well the bible in my opinion is a scare tactic.. follow this really old book and you wont get smited by the alllll mighty.. well i havent been smited and god hasnt been speaking to me about it personally, so really... i dont care what that book says.. EVERY SINGLE ONE of the people who claim to be sooo religious and follow that book w/ every step they take, are sinners and liers and have at least once broken an indirect "rule" set forth by that book.. if i had it my way, *happy* marriage would be 110% legalized because its a persons wish and right. for some reason my site http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/cant connect via ftp. its strange, i can go into the file manager and access my cpanel just fine, but i use WS_FTP and ive used CuteFTP and they wont connect to my ftp site. i dont know why either.. is there something im missing,, ive tried everything, it tells me to put in ftp.2dfy.trap17.com and 2dfy.trap17.com and i enter my username and pass but it says its a bad host.. plz help that would be verrry appreciated and useful.

i was wondering. . . if there is any way to reset my hosted account.. i want to start over w/ the default settings and default files w/ nothing of mine uploaded and no sql databases or anything.. i f-d up pretty bad and i want to just start over w a clean slate on my hosted space. this would be a tremendous help. i dont have a problem with re-uploading things, but my ftp client is down and the only way to delete everything would be to del individual files, take forever.. and theres a second problem.. my ftp client wont connect lol. what is the address i put into the ftp.?.. btw im http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ ... for some reason it wont let me connect to it via ftp. thnx, sry it was a multiple stage question :->

Ok, so ive been looking to get away from Norton SystemWorks and ive been hearing a good alternative to software securities is a hardware device called AlphaShield. its completely plug-and-play which doesnt sound all that great because of IRQ conflicts and whatnot, but it guarentees great things.. their site http://www.alphashield.com/ promises quite a bit as far as securty. invisiblity to hacking, good worm protections, blocks all non-essential ports by default. the only real downfall is that it cant be altered or configured that much because it is a standalone device. it does seem alot less messy than norton or McAfee.. it wont take up harddisk space nor clutter things, and it wont slow down your comp.. seems worth it?.. anyone have any other opinions??

or you could also take another route that shows your cookies, recent docs, and any other temp file. C:/Documents and Settings/*your folder*/Local Settings/ then you can go to individual folders partaining to Temp files, Cookies, and whatnot, then you can Ctrl-A Del them all. the only harm that comes out of clearing your temp files is that everytime you log into a site, you have to retype your username and pass if you have it on auto-remember.. which doesnt really bother me one bit. :-D

ok first off... i dont really get the problem.. in Docs and Settings it lists all users currently on that computer, plus the ALL USERS and Default Users and the Administration User. the way i think ur saying is that ur account name either isnt there or isnt the correct settings, but is somewhere else. in a different folder?... it could just be that the folder name is messed up.. in that case you should check the registry to see what name value is assigned to the user.

wrong.. more the merrier is very untrue.. ive seen WAY to many comps *BLEEP* themselves over because one tries to dominate over the other.. if they dont detect themselves, then they create chaos.. they will in a sense fight each other.. thats only in certain cases, bu its still a risk. out of date AV's probably wont detect new ones, thats how this prob usually starts.

welll that guy/girl a couple post above me is right, the one talking about how they all have their purposes just depends on what u are intersted on doing w/ them....... as far as my opinion.. *nixlinux is GREAT for programming and webdesign and self hosting of servers, they also are just plain great servers. fully customizable. no registry to get corrupted. i use SuSe9.2 and ive used Fedora Core, GREAT! windows is only good if i was a gamer, but im not. and im not big on ONE OS claiming 90% of the world.. i like the fact that linux can be programmed, and reprogrammed and individuals can make their own versions, and its mostly freeware.. mac would be great if i was into multimedia, but im not heavily into it... so its still crap.

well.. unfortunately im uploading large files or multiple files in folders. thats why its convenient.. but anywayz... ive tried them all. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/, ftp.2dfy.trap17.com , 2dfy.trap17.com , ftp.2dfy.trap17.com ... but they ALL say bad server response or cannot use the Socket, but no socket is active. btw web2ftp worked... but the others wont...

for some reason unknown to me. . . i cannot access my sites ftp. i have used both WS_FTP and CuteFTP and neither will let me connect.. maybe im typing the host name in wrong or something. i can connect through CPanel and i can upload there. but for some reason i cant remotely. any help on what to put as host name would be great.. it USED to work like 2 weeks ago.. then it just died on me.

Hmm thnx for some feedback.. ive tried restarting it a 100000000 times, ive reinstalled it at least 6 w/ diff configs. o i forgot to mention, i own 3 mice, a USB, and 2 PS/2 mice. all have the exact same prob.. im getting fedora core soon and ill try that, but suse9.2 should work fine. i partioned a 50/50 split drive w/ half XP and half linux on a 223gb hd.. so its not a space issue. the bios still has its space, and my mouse works fine on xp and every other windows version ive ever had on here. maybe linux has a "blacklist" of unsupported graphix cards or mice... hmm that would be an interesting discovery. ill look myself, it would be appreciated if help was accuired.. thnx.

Comp. SPeCs- Sony Vaio Pentium 4- WinXPpro + SuSe9.2pro- nVidia GeForce Fx5200 w/ latest Driver (8.1.9.8)- 223Gb HD - 1 Gb Memory- a couple Mice (1 sony - 1 DYNEX) ive tried both. Ok. . . i work ALOT w/ comps, and i have messed w/ alot off diff OS's, problems arose, but none that couldnt be easily fixed... except this one. for some reason ONLY on this computer, does the mouse become invisible when i boot up SuSe9.2 . Its verrry odd, it is fully functional but i cannot see the cursor. I can click any icon, right click, and i can use it just like normal, its just a tid bit hard to do when u have NO idea where the mouse actually is. Ive done driver updates and rollbacks, changed every relevent configuration SuSe9.2 that could affect the mouse. ive tried both mice and even one other, but that was no good either. im stuck lol. ive looked in forums for similar problems, and come to find, its not as rare as i thought. there was some suggestions as to the cause, but they all faild miserably. If anyone could give me some pointers or suggestions as to a solution on this, it would be greatly benificial to me and i would pass any solutions on to the others w/ the same problem. such a small problem, but its very hard to solve for me. well, i guess if i CARED about big corporations, i would take heed of your words.. but i dont, so i wont. im not saying i do it. . . but if they cant protect THEIR software from being copied, then thats their fault.. if they cant invest a LITTLE more money into keeping thier shite safe, then piraters are just showing them their errors. u would think after the MANY years of people doing this they would get the point. and sony failed MISERABLY at copy protecting their software, kinda funny how they had to recall it all and start over AGAIN. i do agree tho, they are lazy and they are too cheap to buy things, but . . why buy if u dont need to. why spend money when the item you want is free. ok well im done.. happy huntin.. although its nothing new i have discovered the great game of world of war craft although it is a little geeky to play it is to much fun to stop. somebody please help me with my problem before i die. im not sure how it would kill me but its addictive and i cant help but play. i think they need an AA for this kinda thing. if anyone has any ideas dont send them to me, i am having way to much fun on the game to stop. kirby i have to say i *BLEEP*in hate you and your harry potter acting out *BLEEP*. Nothing is worse than that damn scar on his head. so what if he got hit by a *BLEEP*ing baseball bat. you know thats probably what happened anyway. If i saw a short scrawny kid walking down a street with a robe and a scar across his forehead i would think, HEY! your *BLEEP*in dumb what did you do to deserve that. i give you a 20/25 . Color = 5/5 The white and dark grey is very appealing.. the moving textbox is great as well...Content = 5/5 I LOVE the "Site Suspended" look.. very nice, i wish i could have that. Navigation = 0/5 Poor links, you dont have many. you should add some :-)Overall Layout = 5/5 PERFECT! i love it.. the SUSPENDED title at the top is great, the scrolling /404 thing is sweet.. good stuffs. Maybe if u get some credits it might look nicer.

ok, its got good info, but the design is BEYOND confusing. it has no real structure. The highlighting, the inversion of the headers are a bit confusing. It took me a sec to figure out what i was reading, and under what header it was. Maybe if you centered the subject titles and then left the content as is, then it would look neater.. maybe if u added more content it would seem more filled out. You need more flashyness though, maybe some hyperlink effects, some button effects. get rid of the highlighting and replace it with underlining or boldness.
