Yes you can get mycents from Xisto too, as for the new system i thought it was harder in the begining, but right now it feels the same. I like the new system , more options and people who can't post can pay for their hosting.

Anyways iam just wondering i read taht in the old system if you go below negative 30, your acount gets deleted, shouldn't your credits be reset to zero then? because loosing your acount is bad enough.Also in the new system if you miss a monthly payment do you get deleted right away or suspended and you are given a maximum period of one month to pay waht you have to pay?

Ok i transfered to Xisto, i ordered a logical plan and i paid for it However when i log in my cpanel throuw http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ its still the same as before i transfered, i have 999 databases and all the other stuff. When will it change and will the link to it and/or its organisation change? Also i ordered a free myusername@domain.com hotmail. How do i get it? When i get enough $ for a .com how do i transfer my domain? Does this mean i have to wait 5 days for my transfer?

The amount of $ needed to maintain your acount depends on the services and options you chose, each option/service has its monthly price next to it in ordering. However, a domain's price is deducted anually. Also, you can choose to pay every year instead of every month and you will recieve a small discount. If you want to keep your upkeep low if you can't post alot and if your website isn't very big, you can choose a logical plan with 10GB bandwidth and 1000MB disk space. These don't cost extra.

Just a little note, you can also see your earnings and mycents from your profile. Better if you are in a hurry =)

At the moment i think credits are still counting, whenever you post you get both credits and myCents, however when the the admins dicide the credits system will be halted and myCents will be used only.

I use that, $_SESSION['id'], it works and you don't have to relogin unless you close the window. It works fine and i think its better than creating and using a cookie since some antispyware or some browsers might block cookies from untrusted sites.

In PHPmyadmin where i see my databases i see information_schema. Is that considered a database? because in my website i use only 1 database, so if its not considered a database i don't have to choose 5 databases and have to pay an extra 0.99$ per month. If its a database, can i just delete it?

Counter strike and Half-life, i don't know why people are not attracted to them anymore. I mean i know the new games have better graphics and voice but CS and HL are simple and great. Especially HL's story line. CS2D is fine too if you are looking for a quick simple game. Thats for PC, as for PS2 i have to say call of duty, i played the 2nd and 3rd edition. The 2nd was great, finished it more than one time. The 3rd was a disappointment , and i still haven't bought the 4th but what i hear its better than the 3rd one.

Yes there was a delay in mycent update =), the tutorial i made along with 2 posts gave me about 1.3$ yesterday. So its not as hard as i thought. However i think the services we were given before were alot cheaper than now. But like you said no more 280 credits are needed for a .com. Hence i am with the new system 100% =).Iam just wondering, when the system was introduced i was given 2$ and i had 20 credits. Were the 2$ for the 20credits or the package i had? Because my package + the 20 credits i had =50 credits alot more than 2$ i think.it is a bit annoying for people who were hosted and had some credits stored :/

A question like this is hard to anwser, its like asking what would we be without telivision. Internet has its ups and downs, its ups mainly are keeping people connected and providing online tutoring or websites like this one. And it also kills social lives for some, also those sites which provide second or alternate lives completely ruin any sensation of normal life for those who get addicted to them.So where would we be without internet? living in on isolated islands like 2000 years ago, no one knows anything about anyone outside a <100 mile radias, but a person would have stronger relationships with his surrounding.Bah that sux, long live internet!

I made a C tutorial and got >6 credits for it i think, however i was expecting more cents. its gona be hard for me to make ~5$ per month.Did someone do any calculations to find out if the new system costs more on a credits-$ ratio> the old system cost 30 credits per month and had 10GB bandwidth, 500 MG space, 999 mysql,99FTPs, and alot more stuff that i still haven't figured out. However getting these options in the new system seems harder :/

Also does anyone know whats the max of $ in mycent per post? In the old system it was 10 credits per post max.

I'd like to point out that the credits system has been upgraded to mycent system, right now with each post your mycents will increase, if it hits 100+ 100 will be deducted and 1$ will be added to your xisto acount(you have register their too). You can exchange that $ for hosting, starting at 0.99$ per month. You can also customise your acount and choose how much the options you want.A good way to quickly gain $ is to start learning a programming language(assuming you don't know one) and post any questions you might encounter, it would be a good contribution here and will probably help others who might face the same problem. If you already know a programming language you can earn $ by either making tutorials or answering questions in that department.
