Hi,Before checking some admin book, I just thinking that windows vista boot as windows xp and previous version.But that's all wrong. Windows Vista uses a whole new boot manager to start and manage it's system.There over 20 and more new terms you have to family with before you go configure dual booting.But it is true that you should install windows xp first, then, windows vista.Cause the later will found that Windows XP present on your system and configure it correctly.I still looking my book about that.Please let me knew if you really need it.Eric,

At this time, it is hard to said where is the problem come from. But you may first checking the memory for corruption by download a testing app from memtest (http://www.memtest.org/ Then by installing windows xp by ms-dos with smartdrv with this command winnt.exe This command do the same thing as windows xp boot-up cd's setup app that will copies files and create folders on you hard drive, but instead just start-up files (such as ntldr), almost whole cd files will copied to your hard drive for easy install without cd disk here after. I haven't used this before but with the screen shot it seems that it is a developer for developer tool.I have downloaded it's source code and will try it soon.But so far I haven't seem a tool that could fit all the needs.I'am using the notepad++ it quite faster and provides a small plug-ins system that could extend it without even switched to external tools.But both the notepad2 and notepad++ use the same source editor. So the syntax highlighting should be the same.Thanks sharing this tool.

Recently I have got a coopy of myBB to see if it is more suit my forum.As it plug-in structure seems do not a lot of manually modification to the source code.Such as it's MYPS plug-in. Hmm... I still haven't used it before. But I have checked some information that microsoft will do the thing was copyed all installation files to the disk even those that not needed for daily operation. I think the data store within the folder should be openable by Windowsnew imgaing tools. So that made it easier to know what data will be included with it.Or may be the best way was using that tool to custom a new image and cut off somenot needed data and installing it with regular method.

It seems again be the computer browsing services issues.Try this step to see if it works.Create a shared folder on Windows VistaOn Windows XP computer, type the following command to access the foldor on Windows Vista Computer.Start Menu -> Run -> \\[windows-vista-computer-name]\[your shared folder name] and press enter.This should work without any issues.PM me if it still don't or post here.
