  1. Google, and I'm saying Google for several reasons. For one their search engine is just very simplified and well organized, I really enjoy not getting lost in various pitter patter everywhere. Google is also very well made in coming up with search results that I want. Another feature I really enjoy about Google is how they have the "Video" and "Picture" tabs you can go under if any are included in your search.Another reason I enjoy using Google is because they have many various tools you can use if you set up a user account with them including- but not limited to: Blogger, calender, and email. These are just a few of my favorites. All in all I find I use Google everyday of my life, and I'm happy that they're keeping their search engine and utilities fresh and crisp and have been doing great for the many years I have used them. Thank you, Google team!
  2. Thanks a lot for this! This will help me a lot in making vectors! Ive always had a problem doing this in Photoshop for some reason, ill try this out and see how it goes.Thanks.
  3. I used to use File Manager a lot until I figured out how FTP worked, now I use that a lot more. When I first started though it seemed very complicated to me (for some reason I tend to think to hard than I should for things). Its easy to just drag and drop like 20 files from FTP though than it is to find them and upload them into file manager, for me at least. However, file manager is nice if your somewhere away from your computer and you need to access something, such as school, ect. They're both very easy tools to use, its nice to use both if you know how to use both.
  4. Ohhh I remember that game. Its been such a long time since I have played it. I remember my uncle got it for me for Christmas and I would make a park that filled up the whole map, I would save my game and than just take the bulldozer and delete all the cages and stores in one BIG sweep and than blockade the entrance. XD All the animals would be going crazy and my millions of guest would be running around screaming getting eaten by the dinosaurs.I had a few expansion packs for the game like the Marine one with the water animals or whatever. Those were the good days. I have no idea where the CD's for it went though so I don't play it anymore. You make me wanna go out and re-buy the game.
  5. Recently I've been experiencing a lot of problems with Comcast. However they keep claiming that theres a problem with their "servers" down where I live, as a few of my friends have called in and complained as well. My internet goes out sometimes 5 to 6 times in an hour on a bad day, sometimes I can get through a whole day without getting kicked, some days it just does not work at all. At first we thought it was a problem with our router, so we got my Uncle to come over (he knows a lot more about computers than us) and everything worked just fine, we even tried using one of his spare routers at our house and we still receive the problem. A lot of my friends who've called in to complain have been having the same problems. After about a year of putting up with this and being told repetitively that its sever problems down here, were thinking about switching to another internet provider. Thats just for me though.I too would like an answer to fix the problem.
  6. I just tried this site out and its a pretty good site to use when I'm trying to get things over from computer to computer. I had a lot of things on my brothers computer such as HTML documents and I got them over on there quick and easy. Also this is a pretty good site for throwing some music onto it for my friends to get, without me sending it over on AIM. Thanks.Filefront is one of my favorite places to upload bigger files though and download them later, when I was sending over some of my movies I used File Front. Ive been using Photoalbum and Photobucket for quite some time now, those are very good image uploading systems to use, I use Photobucket a lot when my direct send does not work on AIM.I really love Youtube, and its wonderful for uploading movies and such onto, however a lot of the times it ruins the picture of the movie, so I have to compress it down usually before I put it on Youtube. All in all thanks for this link, I use it a lot now.
  7. I think entertainment is really important for a person because it allows a chance to go do something, and get away from your every day life. This helps to reduce stress and possibly make you a better person when your not stressed out and your clear of thought.Ive heard many arguments about video games, especially on TV how a lot of parents claim that they are bad for their kids. Well what would a lot of people do if they didn't have video games to pass the time, or probably reduce heavy loads of stress? I have a friend that often gets very angry at people, well rather than taking it out on a real person, they could take it out on a game. Sure some video games can get really addicting, and sometimes its just better to stop when its getting in the way of your day to day activities, or possibly your friends and family. If it gets to that case, which it has for me several times, you really have to learn to just stop. But hey, id rather be addicted to a video game than a drug. Without some form of entertainment, people would be very hyped up and stressed out. More people would be a lot more aggressive, and not a lot of people would be very happy. So in conclusion, we need entertainment in our life, but when it gets in the way of our day to day life, family, and even friends, you need to cool down a bit and stop.
  8. I live in a really cheap apartment and one time I went to go open up the fridge and a roach just flies out the second I opened the door, it scared me to death. I really have not found any bugs inside of my food though, like what Xboxrulz said, the only thing I see is the occasional fly come around when my parents are cooking BBQ, or left the front door open. However once I was at my friends house and we were making shell noodles and we go to open up the box, and its full of dead moths. I'm really not to paranoid about finding bugs in my food though, but I do pay attention to what I am eating (just in case).
  9. I have to respect photographers of all kinds simply because, I cannot be fancy pants with taking pictures (perhaps its because of my horrible camera?), so when I see photography I can usually enjoy it. Ill start off with your first picture:Roses: wonderful, colorful, pretty. Lots of people take pictures of flowers, they're just a very pretty thing to look at. In your picture with the rose I enjoy how the rose is the only thing that is not blurred. This really helps you focus on it more and enjoy its rich red color. Pictures like this remind you that there are good things on this earth, very nice. You second picture, power lines. This picture came as very powerful to me, yet beautiful. The colors are very unique. This reminds me of the section of the everglades I live by with the miles and miles of power lines you can see. It is a nice experience to see when it is foggy outside. This picture also has a very eerie feeling to it that sends a shiver down my spine. Very scary, although it makes you (or at least me) think about it. Also it makes me want to take a walk down the isle of power lines to see where it takes me, a mystery yes?Your last picture of the building, is this a restaurant of some sorts?, because its making me hungry. :P This reminds me of one of those places you see when you are a tourist for somewhere, and you see all the happy people having a good time. The time of the day you took this picture makes the colors of the building really stand out, and it looks very simple and real. Its like watching people in their natural habitat. Ha ha. All in all my favorite would have to be the second picture you took, it just strikes a lot of mystery into be and just screams, "Walk down the path!". Very good, keep up the good work!
  10. Wow, your signatures are very good! I especially enjoy the Jay and Silent Bob, and Tenacious D signatures you have made. I enjoy signatures with a lot of color, and yours are right on the spot colorful. The pixel affect on the left side of the matrix one was well pulled off and I really enjoy that. Good job, Id really like to see some of your future creations!
  11. For your first sig, I think it came out very good. There's a lot of things you can do with your signature though to make it even better, try adding borders around the image, and perhaps even the text. It looks really fancy when you can pull it off. Also try and fill in some of that extra space you have in there, perhaps another picture? or some brushes that you can download if you have Photoshop or something. However for it being your first signature in Photoshop I think you did a good job, and I enjoy the ghostly appearance I am getting when I look at the picture in the middle. The text kinda has the feeling of the image too, which makes it a good match.
  12. I like the colors you used for your logo, but I think the blurring was a bit unnecessary. Maybe you just should have left the text crisp and background blurry? I don't know thats just probably what I would have done in your case. Also it would be cool if you could add a border around the logo or perhaps make parts of the picture brighter?, the text perhaps would look nice being a bit brighter so it would stand out more. I like the text you used for the lettering on your logo, I think it really matches the dark eerie green colors that go with it. Ill give you a 7/10.
  13. Very nice tutorial, I enjoy looking at peoples tutorials every now and than to get to know how people do things.
  14. Currently at the moment I am using Photoshop CS, and I enjoy it quite well. The tech computers at my school use Photoshop CS2, and I use that every once in awhile when I have to but my eyes are set onto Photoshop CS. I think I enjoy using this program so much because ive been using Photoshop 6.0 for a long time and when I went to CS I just stuck with it, I spent about a year on and off learning how everything worked and I've gotten quite good at the program. My friend uses Paint Shop Pro and I enjoy using Photoshop a lot more even though my friend keeps saying that Paint Shop Pro is more "User Friendly". If you can master using a lot of the cool tools in Photoshop CS or even CS2 there are an endless possibilities you can do inside these programs.
  15. I just joined this site about an hour ago, and its not really hard to earn these credits if you just try and speak your mind in some of your posts. I went and read through the rules, and they said they enjoy quality posts, so if you post in a quality manner you will be rewarded for it. I enjoy posting on forums anyways so it does not really bother me how much credits I have, I think the method they are using here is very fair if you look at what they are offering you. Just take an hour or two going through some threads and just talk it up, and you'll get your credits up soon.
