  1. I voted for stem cell research. It's a touchy subject, especially with the Church groups against it. But I would think it has more pros than cons.
  2. I'm not sure, I think it's because Gmail is capable of POP3 that made China ban it.
  3. Damn that's cute. I like how they could make mini versions of such popular games. That's so creative! I think you might need to change the topic title to "World's Smallest Showcase Gallery" like what the website itself says. Just a suggestion. And I am unsure too.
  4. Hello! That's sad. Very sad. They're very smart. And I think it's legal...somewhat. They could just say that they didn't know of your business beforehand. Extremely blunt, yes, but somewhat plausible. You could attack them back by say, registering significantly longer "THEREALtasypizzaof<location>.com" and vice versa. I know a lot of companies that have had their domain name taken first and so added an extra word and became known from then on by their "suckier" Internet address. If you added something like "THEREAL" to your address, then comments like "Why are these so similar?" or "Who's copying who?" are eliminated.
  5. I've got to be honest that I don't like tattoos. And I've been argued against for this notion, of course. My friend argued that "Just because they have a tattoo, it doesn't mean they're bad". Yes, that is true. Also, many "bad" people don't have tattoos. But then only a small minority of say, influential political leaders (what, why are they in the picture? - I wouldn't know) or erm...religious leaders (yes, another poor example) would have a tattoo. I wouldn't judge someone as being bad if they had a tattoo, I'd judge otherwise on their personality.
  6. It does seem selfish, but then if you are an American citizen, the American government will try with all its might to help you. The African nations' governments can't seem to do much due to wars and poverty, so it's left to the overseas developed nations to help them. It's not like America doesn't try to help Africa. I don't know the exact amount of money countries like America give to Africa annually to help the HIV/AIDS concern, but I'm sure it's a lot.

    Flexibility

Ah I do the groin stretch. You do know the groin stretch, right? You put the soles of your feet together (making sure that your knees are are close to the ground as possible) and slowly bring them towards your...groin. I also do the back arch. Although I'm not sure if it's a flexibility exercise or not. There's also the normal "touch your toes" thing that we're forced to do in PE lessons. I hate the typical stuff. How about you, Tezza? What flexibility exercises do you do?
  8. Ah...have you tried to go to your GP and ask them? That's all I can think of for now. Dw, people have done a lot of stupid things thinking that it would make them prettier/stronger/more loved/etc.
  9. And we need to know that exclusively because...?
  10. Yes, that's right, the second would work. But then I somewhat like the first more, if it was on a dark background. I dunno...I don't think the font completely suits the type of site Photobucket is. I think some sleek/technological font would look a bit better. Anyway, may I ask what you are going to use these for? Perhaps it might give people a better idea of what you want. Keep up the good work!

    Best Freeware

Ooh my favourite freeware? AVG Free Edition - I can't rate its credibility, but it seems to be very famous. Lavasoft Ad-Aware SE Personal - Same here too. Mozilla Firefox - Ahhh everyone knows Mozilla Firefox! I love its skins/themes. Currently I'm using one that makes my MF look like Safari. OpenOffice.org - Pretty good if you don't have Microsoft Office. Spybot - Search & Destroy - I found it off a "PC User Australia" magazine DVD SmartFTP Client - Ah many people seem to use it.
  12. Maybe it's just me, but I can't seem to see these creations of yours. I see "IPB image" replacing each image.
  13. Wow that's great. But I think the text "Arkane" should be more further away from the border. Ahhh and that is it. Nothing else to comment on.
  14. There's also Paint.NET, which I think the overall "look" or layout is similar to that of Adobe Photoshop's. Of course, the features are pretty limited. It's freeware, by the way.
  15. I think that these are pretty good. Although I agree with that "friend" of yours, I think that they are being a little over obsessive. Your signatures are great, but the only thing I can spot is their similarities. Try to make each and every one of your graphics a tad different. Keep up the great work! Don't listen to totally-negative critics!
  16. Ooh, that looks generally nice! But the little snake-like things look a bit annoying. The positions of "Home", "Tutorials", "Templates", "Forums", "Skins", "Resources" and "Contact Us" should be more centred compared to the boxes. Well, good luck!
  17. What in the world are you talking about? I looked at your profile and every topic/post has be en written with fluent English, nevertheless... (Sorry moderators, but seeing that this dude is Vietnamese, I will say the following:) Bạn ơi, "AAA Logo" lĂ gĂŹ thế? Bạn cĂł thể chỉ cho mọi người cĂĄch mua/download "AAA Logo" khĂ´ng? My friend, does "AAA Logo" happen to be this? http://www.aaa-logo.com/ You should go back and edit your topic post, my friend.
  18. Oh hey!Nice image! I like how you blended the individual images together. However, if you added a blending effect to the text or added a border, I think the signature would look a bit better. Anyway, good luck with your signature-making!
  19. Ahhh I tried something like this before. Absolutely hated it. They stuff about your screen and lag things up. Remember to get a System Restore point on Windows before your download! (Though I'm not sure about the one you're talking about.)
  20. Ahhhh I downloaded the Australian-English Spell Checker plug-in for Mozilla Firefox. Therefore I have the exact same thing as you guys, except with Australian-English.
  21. Ooh yes! I'm using EasyPHP right now. It's simple to install, isn't it? It's good for testing out your pages which occupy MySQL/PHP/etc. But I don't know if there is anything better than EasyPHP.
  22. I am Catholic myself. I don't know that much about the Vatican, to be honest. However, I do believe that Pope John Paul II has done a better job than the current Pope. He somewhat helped to eradicate communism from Poland. (Slightly off topic, I know.) I understand that the Catholic Church has been in the media a lot for criticising the latest media fads, novels or other religious leaders. But then I look back...the priests don't do this finger-pointing behaviour that you notice that the upper Catholic leaders are doing. At the end of the day, Catholicism is a form of stress/emotional relief like any other religion.
  23. I am Catholic. I'm not sure, but I think it's that Christians do not praise Mary and/or consider her "Virgin Mary". That's what a Christian friend of mine said. That aside, the leading religion in Australia is Catholicism.
  24. (Err perhaps there could've been a better subforum to post this in, but I'm unsure.) It would be good if you offered examples to your statements, but I'm thinking in the lines of Britney Spears shaving her head bald. It's the weird world of celebrities that I will never understand. =x

    Anoying Dad

Aww, sometimes I feel like that towards my dad too. Too occupied with his "own business". Never did caring for me fall under his "own business". But I'm getting used to this, and what I have to say is that you should keep your cool. Dads have a slack thing how it's okay when they go agro, but when it's us, then it isn't. That's why we have to control our emotions. We must protect our mums and talk to them when they are in need.
