It's not as clear as that. Without rooting your device, you can allow your adroid OS to accept apps which are not from not coming from the android market. rooting really allows you to get root access, like on a standard linux system. And, of course, if you are not familiar with the rooting thing, don't touch this, it can make your android device simply stop working, definitely.

I guess that FrontPage is only a way of accessing and changing your html pages. So, if you simply backup your wholefolder (on the asta host server) to your PC using the tools provided by Xisto on your cpanel, this should be enough. In case of disaster you just upload the folder on the same place.

I know that you should not force a dog. If I am walking with my dog, if he wants to go rightwards I say "no, left" and he goes left. If he wants to go rightwards and I try to force him, he is too strong, I will not be successful. So the dog always has to do what I want, I should never need to force him. Except if there is a cat crossing, I can't prevent him from running.

Wow! I would love teaching my dog not to jump in the pool. Currently I simply avoid going near a pool, because I know the dog will jump in the water.

And what do you personally think about this TV show? What is your opinion? Do you like it? I love dogs, I love TV, however what you are telling does not make me want to see that show. Ghost whisperer yes, dog whisperer no!

Nice job! A lot of effort, but it's worth the pain, the result is really nice!

Try with the same version I'm using. Get it here : http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable It's a portable version, so no installation, just unpack it and try it. And if it does not work or if you don't like it, just remove the folder. I use this verson of firefox because it's not installed, it does not modify the windows registry, so it works the same way on most of systems. Regards Yordan

Of course, you are right. Ideally, there should be continously a lot of people around here, let's hope that they come soon

I wouldn't say the wrong time. We are open to people from all around the world, so necessarily some of them are sleeping while the other ones are active

Please, be more precise. Does copy-paste work on Xisto forum when you connect from any other computer? Or does copy/paste work from your computer on any other website, and not on Xisto?
-
OK, don't worry. It's obviously an automated mail, sent because you are a Xisto customer. A lot of security holes are found every days, a lot of exploits which could be dangerous for some surfers. So, the hosting providers try to keep their servers at a standard level of security. That's why your web server has been updated by the automatic process, and you have been informed. So, simply the standard acts to be done : 1) first of all, check that your website is still working, that it's still possible to connect to the url (not mentionned here) and that the website works as you want. 2) Open a ticket at Xisto - Support concerning that thing FP not working any more. If it worked before, ask them to help you finding a workaround, or explain you how to make it work. Regards Yordan

So, I think that the bug is inside your browser. Which browser are you currently using? Did you try the copy-pase thing from another computer which uses another browser?I just tried the copy-paste thing from notepad into my Firefox 31.0, worked fine on my computer.

Great job! And using cedar wood was a nice idea. I tried something with bamboo sticks, did not survive to two winters. Just telle me, did you see live birds entering the bird's house?
-
It's rather difficult to prevent a Microsoft Windows computer from updating itself each time you connect to the internet.

Great idea, Belinda. Now I feel far less when I'm alone, I know Belinda is somwhere around here right now!

Also the type of post, technical posts are worth more. Correct English sentences also is important. "A new members" should have no final "s", because it's a single user. And don't forget that some subforums are "no post count", they have interesting subjects but answering there gives no MyCents. And, I agree, the algorithm of the MyCENTs program is rather complicated, else cheating would be too easy
-
I guess that it changes each time a major Windows Update is installed.

Science, and particularly mathematics, is a mean for describing the world around us. This world does exist, even if we don't want to see it. A lack of mathematics will simple be a lack of understanding our environment

Huh? What do you mean by "fast"? Desktop loading rapidly? Or fast download of a picture from the cloud? Please, be more precise when stating such things? For instance, using the desktop you are showing slows down a computer, compared to the standard puttyy Linux command-line displays. And please use accurate words, Windows or Linux is an Operating System, and not an "Operation System" like you say, exactly if you used a poor automatic translator.

Copy-paste Windows bug? Paste in a notepad window, then copy from the notepad window

You are right, you may feel yourself cheated. That's why I also left a link your topic in it's original place, you can read it if you go where you first placed it. However, as a hosted member, you need support and should be helped, that's why I moved your topic in this place.

Ha-ha, some people say "man" instead of "human being", a human could be a man or a woman. By the way, did you notice that the "non offending" text disapeared from the starting topic? Regards Yordan
-
No, nothing really complicated. Simply lack of time, the MyCents scripts have to be ran after the migration of both forums is successfully completed. A lot of small adjustments have to be done, this needs time. Don't worry, everything you wrote will be correctly evaluated, nothing will be lost. Simply be careful avoiding the "no post count" subforums like "Art & creativity", "Music" or "Introductions", which are worth nothing from the MyCents point of view By the way, you probably noticed that I moved your topic to the "Hosting Support" subforum, where it's place most probably is. Regards Yordan
