  1. Thats top notch, not your average everyday sig.You should think about writing up a tutorial on how to do it. Id be interested in learning how.Keep up the good work.
  2. I hate it, if its not one thing going wrong with it, its another. All last night it was giving me grief about the network, no internet etc. Just kept disconnecting itself, i just give up in the end think im gonna go back to linux, thats if my computer works after the kick in i give it!
  3. In the three plus years ive been using bit torrent, ive never had one problem with it. No spyware problems no virus problems and from what i can gather no hackers.Although p2p it is nowhere as bad as the likes of limewire and kazaa etc.AS for the hacking, would say the same as everyone else, if someone wants to get into your network they will.
  4. Im pretty sure that im right in saying this.MalinasIt will not be illegal for you to download a copy of this game, this is due to the fact that you are not actually stealing a copy of the game. You would be just downloading a backup of the game, as you already have a copy of the game.As for the game itself, i havent actually had a chance to play it yet but ive heard good things about it. I currently have an '06 team update for my copy of fifa 2005 so it has all the new players on that.to those who have it, are there many changes in it compared to 2005? graphics/playability any better?
  5. Ive got a Phillips DVD+RW 4X speedUsing the latest Nero software. It doesnt really bother me not being able to burn to -r never had any problems with the drive and has always burnt what ive given it.
  6. The best one to use in my eyes is the FlyakiteOSX version. Its free and has all the bits you need to turn your windows pc into a near exact copy of the mac's osx It has all the little bits and pieces incorporated into the exe file and will guide you through. Click here to get a copy of it.
  7. Would also have to agree and say sig number 5.Not knocking any of the others at all, they are all really impressive. I just prefer the bottom one, is more appealing to me.Keep up the good work.
  8. Great tutorial, was also going to ask about those grunge type brushes.Have had a search for them but to no avail, any help on where to aquire them?Again top tutorial, will have a crack at it later.
  9. Good job on the site, its whole appearance looks very professional. The layout is spot on and very easy on the eye, the colour scheme is very appealing and compliment each other very well. The Content of the site is great lots of information and help for people, it also sticks to one thing (unlike mine!).Overall its slick, smooth and definately gets an enthusiastic thumbs up from me.
  10. Would be a hard one to chose. Both have advantages in my life, the pc for the fact that im constantly on mine for work purposes. The only problem with this is, if i need to go round the other halfs house then i cant get any of my personal work done, which is where a laptop would certainly come in handy.I guess in a way it is swings and roundabouts for me, i would like the pc for its easily upgradeable and cheap parts. However, the laptop for the fact i can have it on the go. As for the make, Dell all the way, great 3 year warranty they come out within 24hours and have not had a problem with them in any way.
  11. Give freewebtemplates.com a try they have a vast array of free templates to use including some flash templates too. Got mine from there originally, but a bit of advice, its definately worth looking into making the site yourself. Im redoing mine at the moment and it gives you no better feeling than to go to your site and know that You built the site from scratch yourself. Use Photoshop to design the site and do the web side of things in Dreamweaver. There are a lot of good tutorials out there to get you started on building a site for yourself, try Good-Tutorials and click on the web layout on the left hand side. Hope this is of some help to you.
  12. Started off playing Doom on the playstation which i got into in a big way, then didnt really play fps after that very much. My mate gave me a copy of Quake 3 and i was hooked on it, playing it constantly for hours at a time, i still play it from time to time now. I brought my xbox purely for Halo and i never regretted it, what an amazing fps, i cant tell you how many hours and times i have played the first halo. Halo 2 is another that i constantly play, on my own or online in multiplayer mode.
  13. I agree with the first comment made about it being a testing ground for new aircraft. I have read up a lot on the area 51, ufo's secret testing on humans too. To be honest i think it is all just hyped up rumours that have got out of hand ( alot of people have very good imaginations!!) The whole ufo situation surrounding area 51 with people seeing spaceships etc around there are purely the new aircraft being tested. When they tested the sr-71 people saying they see fast moving streaks of light , this was just the diamond shape fire made from the afterburners and especially when the plane is travelling at mach 3.5 its gonna look like its moving at a ridiculously fast speed.
  14. I have a 2mb link with Ntl broadband in the UK which i pay £24.99 a month. The only problem i have had with it is there is a download limit on it, which ive had a few problems with in the past. Other than that, it is a sturdy and very reliable isp.
  15. Just only really started using photoshop and i have to say, it is a very impressive piece of software with a huge range of tools to use. I did have a look at the GIMP software but as i was only just starting out with photoshop, i didnt want to go changing and learning yet another graphics software. The next on my list thoguh is to buy and try to learn to use corel draw, heard it is very impressive.
  16. I only use Flashfxp, have always done. Its the easiest ive found to use and it comes in handy for other aspects of computing, as i use it for website uploading and for my xbox . It works great on both of them.
  17. I would say after playing area 51 for the first time today, that it although a good game, does not meet the level of game that halo is.I have only played the game for an hour or so, i found it a good game and can see myself sitting there to complete it. Ican only see myself playing through the once though as it is not that much of an engrossing game like the halo games. Its definately worth buying as its will take a while to complete within a rental time.
  18. Definately cant beat a good blast on twisted metal with your mates, awesome game remeber playing it on the ps1 and then finding it for the ps2. many hours of funCrazy taxi, i have to agree with the comments above, great game to play in the arcade but not all that fun playing it on a console.
  19. Halo 2 has to be one of the most dissappointing endings in game history. There was such a hype waiting for the game to come out, the game was awesome to play and with the storyline of it your expected something better. It just seem to hit a wall no real completion just finished.
  20. I would say use frontpage if you are a beginner, just download a template and alter it to your liking using the normal tab. Then you can look at the html coding tab and see how it all works. For slighty more advanced users, i would suggest to use Dreamweaver. it is an awesome program and definately worth spending out on it.
  21. I would say its best to buy this.If you rent you'll only get addicted to it and keep renting it out.Ive always liked the burnout series, its a nice change not to be just driving round a track like evry other game on the market. I have spent many an hour playing this and i definately will say it rates in my top 5 racing games.
  22. I would say the best way to go about getting a pc for that price would be to buy individual parts. You make the machine, you decide what goes in it and what brand and its costs you a lot less. As long as you are confident enough to build it then this is always the best option i feel. For buying out right i would have to say dell, they are probably the best out there for price and range of machines. You also get the longest warranty with them (3 years if im correct) and they come out next day if anything goes wrong. We have over 400 machines from them plus 7 servers and they have never put a foot wrong. Service is very good from them and your not sitting at the other end of a phone to them for hours on end. Online it gives you the option of a basic machine then you can add/remove parts from it.
  23. I have always used TMPG dvd author, awesome program to use and very simple layout. It gives you the option of having small sections of the video as the wallpaper and you can add all sorts to it. Its a lot cheaper than many of the other similar programs on the market, runs in at about $50. TMPG site Also another dvd authoring software but at the higher end of the scale is the one by Adobe called Adobe Encore. I have never really used it to be honest as i cannot afford it! comes in at about $200. It sounds as if it has pretty much everything you can look for in an authoring program, but i have heard some bad reviews about it. In the end i suppose it just comes down to what your more comfortable using and what sort of money you have to spend, but i personally recommend TMPG dvd author. Also have a look here this is a list of all the dvd authoring programs out . Hope this helps you in your decision Happy Authoring !!
  24. My apologies, but i wasnt sure where to post this.I have a problem......I have around 400 computers on the network i run and i wish to remove the old profiles off each machine. But its a bit tedious going to each of the machines and deleting them. So i need something to do it for me.I need a script to run from the server that will delete the profiles in C:\Documents and Settings bar a couple that are needed and are the same on every machine e.g administrator and all users.Any help with this or if you have a script that will do this that you could share would be truely appreciated and save me a hell of a lot of time. Thanks in advance
  25. There is a program called exchange that i use at work and allows you to send internal emails on a network. It runs through Microsoft outlook. I dont know what the sort of prices you are looking at as the company have paid for it.
