  1. 1. Just the way it is. Don't know. I guess it would be possible to have a temporary file for fonts, but there isn't LOL. So basically, the only reason you can't put a font on your server for reference is because the browser still couldn't display it. But, if you design in Flash, the font comes embeded within the file. *And if your site is really good, you could have some kind of downloader that users download that extracts the font to their fonts, or something like that. There might be a way to put the font into their directory when they hit your site, like some kind of download prompt; just an idea to play around with. 2. I think that the following links are what you're looking for; listed from what I think is best to worst http://www.microsoft.com/typography/fonts/ http://www.answers.com/search?q=list-of-fonts-in-mac-os-x http://www.fixarna.com/frontpage/windowsfonts.htm

  4. I know of 2 ways to make a button out of text. 1. Make the text, convert it to a button symbol and then assign the parameters. 2. Create a rectangle the size of your text, convert it to a graphic symbol and set the alpha to 0, then put the text over it, select both and convert them to a button graphic and assign them getURL parameters. http://echo.cx/banque-en-ligne/ source .fla https://www.hightail.com/

  7. I think that I have an idea. Check this out ---> https://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/percentagepreloader.htm You can follow the steps where it tells you where to put the actionscript. Here's what I came up with. http://echo.cx/banque-en-ligne/ .fla source https://www.hightail.com/
  8. I got it fixed. I uninstalled the iPod firmware updater program and iTunes, plugged in my iPod and it was recognized. So then I got a fresh download of the firmware app. and iTunes and now I'm good. Although, on startup, McAfee tells me that it's all messed up and I need to reinstall it, so it doens't really do anything. And I think my other virus scanner isn't working either. The only thing I can think of is that somehow that trojan did something. Although, my friend at school told me that as long as I have a router my PC should be alright. I figure I'll just do a reinstall of McAfee and !avast and see where I am then. Thanks for the help.
  9. OK, I'm running Windows XP and my iPod is not detected when I plug it in. The only things that I could guess are wrong are that I recently had a trojan, known as BackDoor-AWI and that my router flaked out and I have no internet on the computer in question now. I'm not sure what happened, but for some reason, McAfee is telling me that it's all screwed up on startup. So it's not even running anymore. My computer does recognize USB keys, but will not see my iPod for some reason. Any ideas?
