  1. I think that is it nessesary to be sending these orbiters to Mars and eventually beyond, would you rather the money go to expanding the cumulative knowledge of the civilization or would you rather see it spent on another bomb.Actually they should probably spend the money on new shuttles when you hear about all the stuff that seems to be happening to them lately.
  2. Thank you for saying that I thought I was the only one that enjoyed these games just for the sake of playing them
  3. A very good question to propose and no matter which way you look at it you will not get a truly difinative answer on which one is the actual truth. In my opinion I believe that we are simply evolving, and it makes sense. For instance if look back to the time when all living creatures only lived in the vast oceans, even then you tell that when they began to migrate out of the sea and eventually to what they become in modern times it is evolution. But when you get to human beings this causes a problem (not picking) some think evolution did not occur but instead they were created by a high being, and I am not knocking that it can't really be proved if it ever can. Then there are the people that look toward science for their answer and it gave them one, these people beleive evolution did in fact happen by looking at our closest mamalian relative the Gorilla, monkey, ect. this gave them an answer by showing genetic similarities between the two species. I would lean over the the side of Evolution for the most part because it can give us an answer, facts, and evidence that could prove it to be true.
  4. When you read that your automatically thinking thats kinda cool, on the other hand your thinking thats kinda gross, I mean artificial meat grown in a lab, then your like OK so I wonder what it tastes like, now I am kinda curious about it.
  5. So this is about a game pretty well known as Nocturne, well at least I hope it is a well known game. Actually I just started to play it even though I actually bought it sometime in early January, but that kinda goes off the subject, if any of you don't know this game was published by Atlus, a company that has actually developed similar titles, Persona just to name one.So I haven't beaten this game yet, but overall the mecanics of the game seen pretty well balanced, of course it you hanlbe the controls the right way inside an area you will make yourself sick, (found that out the hard way). So the game is set in Post Apocalyptic Tokyo and you, the character has survived the end of the World with two of your friends, a head of a company, your teacher, and a reporter, but only you have been given demonic powers, well it isn't actually the end of the world more along the lines of its rebirth called the Conception with creates the Vortex World which you must navigate to either recreate the World or utterly annihilate it, (that what I got from it so far). For any that played the earlier versions you will be familiar with getting Demons to join you, or fuse them to create a more powerful Demon, well that expains that part anyway. There is also the Candelabrum, I think thirteen in all or something like that, that you can collect and return to to there rightfull place within something called the Amala Network, these are kept by several incarnations of Death.Oh yeah and it has Dante from Devel May Cry in it from time to time, seems to be an enemy but I have only fought him once so far.
  6. It is really simple you see it is nothing more than a waste of space....I'm just joking. From the photo it looks like a regular run of the mill air field thats what it looks like on the outside but maybe they have the real facility underground who knows it could be that the air field is simplynothing more then a facade for something far more twisted and sinister, or it could be a testing ground for new engines, planes, etc.But then again who actually knows.
  7. Yes, you do have a point there and I am not placing doubt upon Final Fantasy VII, but I still believe that both of these games are equal in certain aspects that all, I have played both of these games threw their entirety several time to be specific and I still believe that when it comes to it they are are equal to one another. Both have solid stories, good character, until you loose Aeris, thats the one part everyone hates about Final Fantasy VII, loosing Aeris, both have surprises in the games, and so on. This is what I mean by equal, well except for the Aeris thing that still bugs me.
  8. Yes I agree a bad ending, to anything for that matter simply ruins it for anyone, after you see it you felt as if you have wasted your time on something.Lets face it there are still going to be things with horrible ending movies, games or otherwise, we just need to be a little more cautious about what we buy and get not waste our times with them. It is the companies fault when you think about it, they go overbudget and spend way to much time trying to make one thing perfect and kinda forget about the rest of the game just because someone wanted to perfect there little addition to the game and loose sight on everything else.
  9. I believe that space exploration is very important, as some one stated already "for our curiosity". Yes that is a good reason but I don't think that is the only one, the value of discoveries, the information gained, new resources and that is to just name but a few. Just think about all the information that could be attained about the universe, it could be virtually limitless and isn't that reason enough to explore. Another is discovery, that is what has fueled exploration in the past and see where that has gotten us, the exploration of space could yield fascinating discoveries that could revolutionize that way we think about certian aspects of thinks forever. And finally it will eventually bring about the discovery of new resources that could replenish our own dwindeling supplies, (I know they aren't dwindeling that much, but some day). It could quit possibly bring about the advent of new and better forms of energy that are far more reliable then what we are using at the moment. All in all I really think the pros outweigh the cons of space exploration, after all it is simply another step civilization will take sooner or later.
  10. Well I think it is pretty obvious that someone will be getting bombed in twenty years from now but I wonder who it will be, throw a dart at a map and push the button. We will still be far to self absorbed to realize that the enviroment has been so devistated that it will be unable to recover from the stuff we have done to it, let alone really care about it and go back to sitting in front of the computer again.Technology will advance, but only slightly, lets face it technalogical advancement has dropped to a snails pace, but none the less it will still advance, but I am sure there will be an even better ipod out by then too.I still don't really see space travel being plausable around that time, only to that spacestation thing and back. Yup thats pretty much it!
  11. It is a nice theory, that is plausable but wouldn't it require a large amount of energy to seperate the Hydrogen and Oxygen not to mention the energy to ignite the hydrogen after seperation, if they worked with this a bit longer they might develope something that would be very reliable, and possibly replace petrollium products in the near future. But I guess that might still be a bit to far to think ahead at the moment.
  12. Yes, it is a great discovery, findind a new planet on the outter boundries of the Solar System. Now it makes me wonder what does that mean for us?And it also makes me wonder exactly how many more planets there are left to be discovered in our system alone.
  13. SWEET they are going to make a new Resident Evil, thats just Sweet. The last installment was great and I am sure this one will turn out better then the last one. *Possitive Thinking* I am already looking forward to playing this new one even though it is probably even a year at best to be released.
  14. Thats a big N O for me, EMO and Scene people don't do things like that, but I do have a friend that plays the D&D thing or whatever it is, actually come to think of it I haven't seen him in about a month. He is probably still playing, last I heard he game up on his online gaming habit just to play that D&D thing, and he dresses up as his character just to play.
  15. It is true Halo2 and Hlaf-Life 2 are great games, I personly prefer playing Half-Lie 2. I just never could get into playing Halo or Halo 2, maybe it is the fact that I have seen my freinds play it so much that I just lost interest in even playing Halo.So it is Half-Life 2 for me hands down.
  16. I still have all of my original systems, SNES, Sega Genesis, Sega CD; I still enjoy them however there are some perks to using an Emulator, the perk for me is that I am able to play several games that were only released in Japan that I always wanted to play, not to mention that you can get them in translated form, plus I can still have the backups for my games on my older systems. But lately it has become increasingly more difficult to find a site that is still dealing in games for ROMS such a waste, truly sad.
  17. The discription of this game sounds very interesting, is this game still in beta testing, or is it up for subcription playing yet? I would very much like to play this game, and if it is like Ragnarok Online I know that it would be a great game to play and I would enjoy playing it just as I did Ragnarok.
  18. Where do you purchase RPG Maker XP or is it a download, I did have an earlier version but I never quite liked it that much but I have heard good things about this version can someone help me out with this?
  19. Exactly what is Majesty, it sounds like it would be a very interesting game to play I would be very interested in hearing more about it.
  20. Ughhh, I would never buy an ipod from Ebay there is just some things you should not buy from there. I really think you would be better off getting it from the Apple store or some onter place that specializes in ipods. Hey and if you are a student the Apple store does give you a discount, plus you can get the same discount on their online store as well plus you don't pay shiping either.
  21. I'm sure a lot of you have at least heard of this game and a few out of that has actually played it, so for those of you that have played it what did you think about it does it meet the standard that the original created.Brave Fencer Musashi was a great game published for the PS1 in 1998, it has a good story funny skits, great characters, and a twist at the end, it was a good game.Samurai Legend Musashi, to me is kinda turning into that game again, I'm kinda guessing that the story is taking place somewere in the same World as the first one is, just several years later, so far seems like it lived up to the stanard the first one set.
  22. Oh yeah and is it just me or is this version of the game not as great as the earlier versions, they do seem a lot better than this one.
  23. Has anyone played this new version of Guilty Gear, I've played though it several times and I was just wandering if there were some unlockable features in it like new areas to fight in or something along the line of that, if anyone knows let me in on it too...It's really bugging me.
  24. That is truly a very hard question for me to answer I consider both of the game to be somewhat equal to each other so I'm going to have to say that I am neutral on this one, I just can't decide which one is the better.
  25. The exact release date for Final Fantasy Advent Children in October 4th but that was just for preorders so I'm guessing it will be released on the 5th of October.
