Losing Connection When Downloading connection lost
nakulgupta replied to JohnNitro's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
I dont know...try some other download managers.... one thing u could try is to pause the download when it stops and resume it when u restart. (OR)Contact your ISP and ask them, since no website loads..must be some kind of limits per session or something..Temme if it works. -

Im currently using a compaq presario 3753AP. with a P4 1.9 GHz, 256 MB RAM, inbuilt 82845G/GL graphics controller. My question is will a motherboard with a 925 based chipset with a 3.2 GHz processor, 1GB RAM along with the inbuilt graphics controller be sufficient to play games such as HL2 at full throttle or Doom 3 at say high (Not ultra). Right now this the only upgrade that i can afford. Maybe i'll get a new PCIe x16 graphics card later....

Delete the default index.htm/l page in the public_html file.(If you've not done it already.) That should be good enough -
The US probably knew what they had on their hands... I think Albert Einstein said something like this. "If their is a third world war it would be fought with nuclear weapons but the fourth would be fought with sticks and stones" My point about computers or even the entire essay is the overdependance we have built on them. We need to sit..we've made it a habit and a neccesity. I think that's the root of all problems we face today.

Vedic Maths: Any Takers ?

Nice one!! I have a book on this stuff where u can find cube's, cube roots of numbers orally very quickly. Out here we have a lot of entrance tests that demand you to be quick, so its wildly popular in India. But mind you it's not easy and needs a lot of practice to master. -

Editing The Apps That Open At Start Up. help please
nakulgupta replied to emotion's topic in Websites and Web Designing
The first method is always better than the second,1. It's safer that messing with the registry2. It's easier to read the program names as well as locations and even easier to disable them. -

^ are nice!! This one was done by really lowering the shutter speed. Pity my hand couldn't stay still. Btw...it's from my home balcony. One of my all time favourites..On my sister's birthday. I love the way the candle seems to be licking her face. Another one of my favourites. Notice the patterns on her face thrown by th flash through the glass...Was in a restaurant in the hotel we stayed in our sri lanka trip. -
Digital Fortress A revolutionary encryption technique??
nakulgupta replied to nakulgupta's topic in Science and Technology
I agree, but it was just an idea...i mean throw in some encryption here or there too would make it pretty tough. Agreed it's breakable but here's something. Lets say we "compress" it ten times using different software, throw in an encryption or two. Now anybody trying to break it would have to try soo many combinations!! And since it's all mixed up i.e. You dont know whether it's an encryption or compression you wouldnt be able to get through quick enough....On the books, agreed they r formulated but if half of the stuff in DF is true then we're at a severe loss of privacy.. I mean something like the Transltr...could it be true?? -
