Red-eye reduction can be very tricky. If not done right it can make eyes look very unnatural, which could get quite distracting. Heres a great method to remove red eye from images. It may sound a bit complex for a beginner, but the results make it worth it.Ok here we go.1.Open the image in photoshop2At the bottom of the Layer window, click on the circular icon that stands for'Create new fill or adjustment layer' and select the channel mixer option there.3.In the channel mixer window, set REd channel to 0 percent, Green to 50 percent , and blue to 50 percent.DOnt panic if you get an off-colour image.4. Now select black as your foreground colour, making sure the Channel mixer layer is selected, and press [ALT]+[bACKSPACE] to fill it up with black.5. Now select the foreground colour as white, and use the brush tool to paint over the red portions of the eyes. It's preferable to select a brush size of the red eye.6. Notice the red eye disappear as you paint over it.

Were u using XP before the format?? If not then u might have to find the latest driver for XP.Which soundcard are you using?? Ill help you find a driver..

Are your drivers up to date and correctly installed?? Try reinstalling the latest drivers. Since it was working fine before there should be nothing else causing the problem. Are you trying to play mp3's or videos?? Or the system sounds are also lagging??

I posted some info about this some time back..... It's really worrying that we dont have to do anything now...Dunno how far this would go.

I agree....but i havent worked enough in photoshop actually im more of a 3d guy. But seing the stuff that an be done i think i'll have to do it a lot more justice to it. Its a great software and i wont rest until i make something that looks good. And about your sigs..why dont you upload some??It'll give me some inspiration and ideas.

I first used Frontpage to upload my site....it never used to be uploaded completely..some folders were incompletely uploaded. I tried smartftp but i got the folowwing message: I dont know what to do next. Should i try another software?? After every unsuccessful attempt i used my file mamager to delete the public_html folder and created another folder with the same name. Can anyone help me??

Oh....thats for installing support for frontpage extentions onto your site. Frontpage has some inbuilt features like a hit-counter for ex. which require this to be installed on your host. Even im not very sure what it is for...maybe somebody else can help.

Looks like u've got a hard disk problem on your hands. Try using some data recovery software's. If it still doesnt work then u may probably have to replace your hard disk. Your system may work fine now but it would get screwed up again later. I know this out of experience. Just that the formatting took 7 hours proves this. My advice "Better safe than sorry".

I agrre with you. The software can get a bit complicated when you start out first. I think beginners(like me) should do basic stuff using some really advanced and powerful features. For ex. in this tutorial i've just played with text and used reactor which is a mind-blowing plugin. you can do a lot of things with it....My advice stick to the basics. Play with text, small objects, do a little animation and build some confidence. then u can go for some of the advanced stuff.

I ur using frontpage to make your site(Like me) then you might prefer to use its inbuilt FTP client. Heres how you upload your site using FP.Once ur done with your site:-1. Click on File->Publish Site.2. In the window's upper right corner there is an option called "Remote WEbsite Properties". Click on it3. In the new window select FTP option.4. Set the address to ftp."yoursubdomainhere".astahost.com replacing the Quotes.5. Set directory to "public_html"6. Your username and password will be the same for the cPanel.7. The left panel is your local files within your site. The right panel is the FTP server of the remote website.8. You can either choose to completely update your site or synchronize.Post if you have any problems.(screen shot attached)

I would beg to differ there....agreed firefox NOW is way behind IE in terms of security flaws but we must also consider that firefox is behind in terms of usage by people...it's just that it hasnt been in the market for too long for its security flaws to be known. It's something like Linux and Windows the latter being more used is thus more exploited. I think this would be one of the many flaws to surface.
