  1. Well... I also ordered like 20 cds, since on the order page it said "fell free to order as much cds as you want, since shipping charges are more than cd production itself" or something like that.In any case... 20 cds... I won't have to buy birthday presents for a while =P
  2. I have tried to model in the past, but it happened to be quite difficult (same happened with programming). Anyone knows a "3ds for dummies" tutorial or something like that? That would be quiiiiiiiiite usefull for some of us...
  3. What I do (and works quite well for me) is that I have my user session password protected, so when I'm leaving, I go to "change user" and it's back to the "select user" screen. And when I come back, I type my password and enter.
  4. My old webhost also had cpanel (I think it was an older version), but it had Invision Board, and this one doesn't... Why is that?
  5. Really?!?! I "ordered" mine like 2 days ago and it said the new version will be out in April I think, and they will send it in April...
  6. You can download version untill version 2.0.1 even from eMule or any p2p programs legally. It says on the documentation that it was freeware and therefore freely distributable.
  7. Try updating the game, ATI drivers, and DirectX. Any of those should solve the problem...Hey, has anyone tried Voodoo? Better than ATI and nvidia?
  8. Probably, but a motherboard with ONLY SATA = no CD-DVD.Or do you know a SATA CD-DVD?There might be some, but it will take some time for SATA to become standart.
  9. Why this version of Fantastico doesn't have InvisionBoard? :DIn my old webhost, it did have it.
  10. What I read is that they didn't HELP them. They both were working together, but they stopped doing it, and Sony used the technology they had to make the PSX.So... Thanks Nintendo for breaking up with sony!
  11. microscopic^earthling: Yahoo!!! Thanks a LOT!! *dancing around in one foot*. I will upgrade my account, when I have enough hosting credits.jipman: I don't think mp3 is licensed, but anyway, it's way more universal. In my country there must be no more than 10 people who know Ogg o_O so I'll just stick wieh mp3.Thanks to both of you.
  12. Hi there.Well... as I said on the registration, I will use this webspace for my band's website, but I was planning to put some mp3. Can I do it?Ehh... I forgot about something else.It says the web must be in english, but... can I make it on english and spanish? it would be two exact versions of the website, but one in english and one in spanish. Please please please please... I have been looking for a free webhost like this for months... please, make me that favor.Thanks.--------------------------------Consecutive posts merged.
  13. I'm in the page where it says this: It says it takes 10-15 minutes, and I have been waiting for more than 2 hours. What do I have to do?
  14. Winning Eleven 8 till the end of times! (or untill WE9 is released)
  15. Not even quality webhosts?
  16. I haven't played Gothic 1, but I think the storyline begins when the main character awakes (or the wizard brings him back to life, don't remember) from being under rocks for some days, wich is where I assume G1 ends.
  17. Come on.... it's very nice and fun!But now that I remember, what pissed me off a lot were those loading times when going to an area to another. And xtron: try the new version (I haven't tried it yet), wich multiplayer support :-o and I think some other stuff...
  18. WMV are the best. Try wm9 codec. If I want a friend to listen a song, I pack it in wm9 at 20k. It's great quality for the size. It sounds like a 64k mp3.
  19. SmartFTP is the best. Easy, simple, and does the job quite good.
  20. ??? No one uses eMule? It's great! You can find everything in there, even a girlfriend. =PSome speed and virus problems, but works good for me.
  21. I think they all have good and bad points. Mac: + Few number of viruses, great for graphic designing, audio recording, video editing... - Compatibility: Many things (especially games) not available for macs, even though that is slowly changing. Windows: + Good Compatibility, can do everything: play games, working with graphics, audio, video... - TONS of viruses, some stability issues. Linux + I haven't tried it, but I have heard it works awesome for servers. Few (or none) virus. No Hardware compatibility issues. - Quite poor compatibility. Few graphics programs, and games? Don't even think about it. I stay with Windows, becouse I can do everything on it.
  22. I have a big problem, hope you can help me.I had windows, and I had my documents protected, so if my sister uses the pc with her other account, she wouldn't be able to see them.Everything ok, untill I got this horrible virus, and I had to install windows in my other HD partition. And when I go to the documents and settings folder (of the old windows installation), the folder with my documents is there, but I try to open it and it says "Access Denied".Anyone knows how I can recover those files?
  23. Invision Board is also free.At least untill version 2.0.1 it's free. Then they changed their minds about freeware, but since 2.0.1 was free, and so it says in the documentation, there is nothing to prevent you from freely using it.
  24. I forgot to add: Look for free quality webhosts :DI honestly do that a lot. I hope my quest finishes here.
