  1. The best e-mail service I ever used. I'm glad I got an invitation, i'm currently enjoying the service they provide. It's a very good service, some even pay just to get an invite.
  2. I got a compact one(mini CD) mp3 player. The hardware name is mirage, it has no storage but it can play almost anything except DVDs. It has an anti-skip technology so it's quite useful, I usually use it when I jog. It also has a digital LCD screen just like other MP3 players out there.
  3. I am currently using a 40GB Hard Drive, it's enough for all the softwares I need. I also have a 10GB Hard Drive for backup. Can't really predict when your computer will crash, heh heh, all we can do is take precaution to prevent such things by installing stuff like anti-virus/anti-spam/anti-spyware/anti-adware.
  4. Unless you like music that much or you're too sensitive about the sound that you hear from your speaker then you'll need a separate soundcard. Most of the current on-board soundcards work fine. It's just a waste of money if you ask me, you can save some dough by not buying it if your mainboard has 1 built in. What's important is you have an average sound quality in your PC.
  5. Hmmmm? I'm currently an NVidia user, i'll try using an ATI Video Card to see if it's better than NVidia, I heard a lot of good things about ATI Video Cards but I haven't really tried it.
  6. You're totally right! Gotta give them some credit for the OS though.
  7. I like Windows better than MAC although both of them are ok to use. You can find my reason on some of my posts why I like Windows than some OSs, not in all aspects though, Linux is better when used as a server(only my opinion).
  8. As a server, Windows Server 2003 and the latest version of Linux are better in some aspects although in my own opinion, Linux works better, as a server that is. They both have their strengths and weaknesses, choose what would be good in the server that you will be running.
  9. I'm not really good at using linux so I choose Windows XP. It is more user-friendly than Linux and I like the interface better. Also, installing and configuring programs are a lot easier than Linux. Linux is good if you will use your system as a server, otherwise, I recommend using Windows XP. It is all about using the thing with ease.Forgot to say that if you want a "virus free" system then Linux is for you.
  10. I forgot using this thing. Maybe it's because i'm already contented with Microsoft Media Player 10 with Media Center Edition + Microsoft Plus! Tools. I substituted Nero's converting tools over this software's.
  11. Hmmm? Too much expectation of this release of Windows, still a long wait though... I've read so much of this thing in the internet, hope they don't overestimate it, it would become quite a disappointment if it doesn't equal the consumers' expectations.
  12. I also use boot disks(the FDISK), especially Windows ME's. As long as you have enough knowledge about partitioning, there would be no problem. I have used partition magic 7 but then boot disks works better for me. I have only 1 partition in my current system and that is for my current OS, currently using NTFS file system and the whole 40 Gig capacity of my drive running Windows XP SP 2. I wonder if anyone here knows how to partition-separate bad sectors? [An alternate for marking bad sectors using scandisk, etc.]Partition is good if you are running multiple OS's or if you want a backup space in your hard drive, it is not necessary though if you are planning to run a single secure OS.
  13. Google.com, if I don't get the results I want, I use yahoo.com.I used to use altavista.com but I think i'm contented with the results that google give me. Everytime I come looking for something, I always use google.com.
  14. I use:Modified BitTorrentKazaa Gold Premium(Modified: No adware/spyware/trojan/virus/worm)I'm not really into P2P programs so I think I can live with these two progs, as long as I can download MP3s, anime, movies, etc. then all's fine. I used to use:Warez P2P
  15. It is, but it is not for everybody so the term "hard work" applies only for those who wasted too much sweat in creating their HTML structure(even if it is only HTML). Yes Mr. Opaque, it is no big deal for some people but we cannot deny the fact that most people prefer their work uncopied.
  16. There is nothing really special, I like using it and i'm more comfortable on using it compared to other FTP clients. I didn't say anything that it was special, I just said that it was good. And about the features, it solely depends on the software itself, SmartFTP has some features that WS_FTP doesn't support and vice versa, it's all about how the user likes it, how it is intended for use(the features are a plus though).
  17. Nobody said that "This is my work" or claimed that the code they coded are their original work(nothing is purely original in this world), they just tried to protect their hardwork. Of course everyone has the right to do everything they want for their work and that includes making it hard to decipher. Copyright is a law that is used to protect one's intellectual rights, not his/her "original" work.
  18. Oh well, things work on different ways on different people.
  19. Yes, you can choose which metatags to include/exclude. Just encrypt some parts of your code and not the whole page(not the keywords tag because search engines would definitely not work right with those encrypted). You site can still be crawled by search engine robots.
  20. Of course, just like others, HTML can be decoded no matter what kind of encryption you would apply to it. It just lessens the people that could steal your content. Please remember that I said that, there is no computer/machine language that cannot be decrypted. Why would you try to protect your code? Simple, because if you did put lots of work into it then why would you just let others easily copy and paste it? Don't you think they should break a sweat first before succesfully copying your code so that everything can be fair?! here, try this ---> https://www.cheazey.net/ <--- may not be available all the time because the host is currently having some problems. It is protected by a 2nd layer encryption of HTML Protector and some other stuff, care to paste the exact original code? Let's see if you can decrypt it... Everybody could try protecting their work, it is their property and it will always be their right to protect it.
  21. Sorry but I just have to quote this. Maybe you got something against Microsoft?
  22. Windows Media Player 10 works fine, yes, better than Windows Media Player 9 but it was not as good as my expectations. But then, I like it and it's one of the applications I use for playing media files.
  23. Yes, that's why I said "What do you think is the best OS around to use?" in my first post. "The best" depends on the opinion of the user.
  24. What is a blog? I cannot answer this question directly but I can give you my blog address -----> http://edong.blogdrive.com/ - most entries are in Tagalog though but others are in English so you may understand some of it. Maybe it can give you one of the meaning of the so-called blogs.
