  1. I only got to use 6.2 so I guess it's 6.2 for me. I always use the stable version. No matter how new it is, a beta release will always be a beta release(of course, until its stable version is officially released).

    Bittorrent!

I originally used the generic BitTorrent, then I switched to ABC(Yet another Bittorrent Client), then finally got contented with BitTornado.
  3. You might want to try TuneUp Utilities' uninstall manager. It's a good software overall and it might save you time solving your problems with registries, processes, uninstall information, disk space and optimizing computer data. It has an uninstall manager, i'm sure you can remove the uninstalled software in the Add/Remove Programs list by using TuneUp Utilities' uninstall manager. You can search for the software in google. Good luck.
  4. I didn't know about the theme if it hasn't been for this post. Thanks, I will give it a try. It seems to be nice.
  5. It would be a lot better to use the backup feature though(for those who backup their files regularly). It can be a hassle backing up by DL'ing through FTP and saving your SQL database 1 by 1. It could be a great help to just download them all in a compressed form and restore them later. Clicking is the most convenient way.
  6. Oh man, you are lucky. I changed my password 3 times because I thought there was something wrong in my password. I only knew there was a problem when i've seen the messages from other users regarding it. I hope it will be fixed soon.
  7. Thanks for the links! Especially the GMail drive one. Ahhh, finally, somewhere to put my video files! Too bad it says that the tool may be suspended anytime if google decides to block its use.
  8. Oh man, if only money wasn't involved in everyday life. That cam is a must have for photo enthusiasts like me. If they mass produced it, someone/some company will definitely buy it...
  9. The OS made it's own anti-spyware program, and planning to release an anti-virus one... I already got the anti-spyware, maybe I should get the anti-virus too. A windows product for a windows product is a good combination.
  10. Things are unpredictable. Even if our technology does tell us about something accurately, it's not really perfect so there may be some flaws in their observation. It may go as they predicted it to be, it may hit us or it may be farther from the position they predicted. Only the future can tell.
  11. I stopped using free image hosting services. Most of them has this on their TOS: "THIS COMPANY HAS THE RIGHT TO USE YOUR IMAGE BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH and is available for public use, etc.". If you really value your image files, I recommend that you'd rather find a serious hosting company that won't take advantage of your files. Otherwise, if your image are just for kicks/fun, then I recommend photobucket.
  12. Lots of extra features for a low price of $7.95 - omnis.com - I registered one of my domains there for 3 years.
  13. If only I could've voted for 2. It's a tie for me but I voted IE anyway. All pages look fine on IE unlike in Firefox, there is still that "Firefox Compatibility Barrier", Firefox is not that generic yet.
  14. The dynamic trio of Lavasoft's Adaware, Spybot Search & Destroy and Spyware blaster on my computer!!!
  15. I got my EZonics Mega Cam plus for $90. It's has only up to 1 Megapixel of pic quality but it works fine. Has an intelliflash feature and only has a 2.5x zoom. It does look like a toy and not a camera but it can still capture good quality images that's why I like it. I'm not gonna exchange it for SLR type cameras(or the more expensive ones), i'd rather buy a new DV Cam, so to say, i'm happy and contented with it.
  16. Everytime I install Download Managers, there are always trojans/spyware/adware detected so i'm depending on Firefox's resume feature. No more flashget, download accelerator, etc. It's browser slash feature.
  17. I have voted for windows XP since I got used using it! I've never really been good with any other OS. It is very user-friendly and very easy to use. Although most people just complain about it, it's still a nice OS. Hey, every OS has a flaw that's why there are always service patches available for download.
  18. I used a lot of FTP programs like smartFTP and cuteFTP. The one that works best for me is WS_FTP Pro. Of course that's only for me, different people judge things differently.
  19. Lavasoft's Ad-aware Pro(latest and registered)Spybot Search & DestroySpyware BlasterTrend Micro Internet Security 2005 helps too.
  20. ARGH! I used up all of my invites!!! G-mail is da bomb! WOOOO! I won't let the 1GB go to waste. Plus the interface is really different from others, it's also fast. Nice, nice, nice! So many good things to say about it.
  21. I got 40 Gig space... It's not really enough for me though since I collect anime/manga. 1 set of a 26 episode anime is about 4 Gig so only 10 could fit in. I really need to buy a DVD-Writer. My CDs are stacking up.
  22. That's quite something. I got a 384kbps ADSL Connection max download is 162kbps(40 on average), max upload is about 300+ kbps. 400-1000kB/s eh? That's quite a nice connection! Suitable for guys like me who downloads movies/apps/games on the net. The max that my ISP provides is uhhh 1MB ADSL but it's worth about $370/month because it's a business package. I pay about $41/month and that includes my phoneline(NDD Calls free!) My account also includes a free WI-FI service, too bad I don't have a laptop and it would be useless to use WI-FI in my PC since USB connection is better.
  23. The thing is pretyt decent. Nice work! You could use some shading though and have more detail in shadow, just a suggestion.
  24. I use firefox and IE but... IE is universal, displays all sites fine(some really doesn't look so well on firefox). It's the most generic browser to use.
  25. Nope, I didn't pay for it. I wouldn't pay for anything that provides me with free stuff. Got it for free.
