lol well you did post the second time logged in so I guess its all good lol.You know if im a webmaster I would prefer popups over banners. Its less intrusive to the site and more intrusive to you lol.Actually pop unders arnt that bad at all.
-
Yeah you could do that ... but remember... those prices start goin up at the last minute and sometimes end up higher than the retail price. Also eBay has somewhat of a lot of scammers... i'd watch out.

You could use pop-ups but then people might not see them with popup blockers and they're annoying.I really have to agree with dissipate on this one, Google's adsense lets you customize the colors so they match the color of your website so its not that intrusive. If you're looking for a banner ad... placing them on the bottom would be recommended... I mean the top has your site's banner and stuff and a banner ad would just ruin that. Also I advise to stay away from flash pop-ups that well... flash. Its very annoying and intrusive

That is a really long list. What is the list for? is it a list of services that sites will offer for domain names for people (like uni.cc) or what?

I guess so but its a real power hog and it needs a really good cooler. I wouldn't even try overclocking that thing.Other than that my laptop has an AMD Athlon XP-m 2200+ (1.8GHz Thunderbird core. 128KB L1 cache/256KB L2 cache)FSB? hmm I tend to forget about AMD's processors' FSB speed... isn't it something like 233MHz? 266MHz?

Oh... heehee in that case...Fantastico should really help you out. Use the coppermine photo gallery, its the best

Isn't HijackThis! A browser hijacker? or am I just imagining things again? :) -
Actually I would really avoid using the registry unless you know what you are doing. Its a really scary piece of tool but once you know it- its your best friend

Although the advantages lead to a more secure system as the pf file is wiped out everytime, do be aware that it will take time to wipe out the page file on the computer depending on how big it is. Usually it would be about 520MB-1GB which will take a long time to clear out.

omg LOL that's nice

Well can we see the HTML code it generated? or perhaps you could link the file on here so I can see what's going on. Chances are that it isn't your server rather it would be something else... let me take a look at it..

MySQL databases do note take up a lot of space at all. I had the same worries as you but later i've found out it doesn't occupy that much space. Of course that's with my phpbb forum. Don't worry too much about it until you start to get a LOT of visitors!

I still have 4 invites left. But i'd give em out to people who've helped me out or who i've known for a long time and could use gmail.

A Good Resource For Compilers Both free/open-source and commercial.
currahee replied to Eric Straven's topic in Programming
Dev C++ is a free C++ compiler, though it doesn't work for me when I try to use VBC++ 6. You might as well give it a try if you're looking for a free C++ compiler. http://www.bloodshed.net/devcpp.html -
programming is quickly becoming one of those mainstream jobs and apparently its quite safe to be a programmer. You can have robots do jobs such as auto manufacturing and stuff but when it comes to programming... you know when you become more experienced and join 3D game companies like iD you can get really good pay.

I dont like iPods. Nor do I like the design. In fact I downright hate it. Might as well get me a PDA with a Secure Digital/Compact Flash memory card which can play music while at the same time do more things than the iPod will ever do.Also the iPod's battery, when the time comes you'll need to send it into apple to get it replaced. Which is a bad thing. Also remember its a Hard Drive. You let that thing fall say bye bye to your music.

Personally speaking, I would rather host the images myself rather than trust a third party source. Who knows what privacy intrusions those sites can do to your account. Say if you're ugly I think you could get a Spam email the next day advertising beauty creams or cheapo plastic surgeryo

Under 2 lines and I believe that means 2 FULL LINES and not entering with half a line full and start a new one which would be technically 1 line.

Yeah, they're Google ads and I dont mind them. At least you guys don't see flash ads with stuff like "FREE XBOX!!!" or "FREE WEBCAM!!!" ads.But that's pretty amazing, if each account costs only $30 a year to maintain.

Actually the applause should go to Will Wright. Maxis has a lot of experience with simulations ever since their popular Sim City games which are pretty fun to play with. I own all of the versions too lol.I own the Sims bustin' out and the original sims. The Sims Bustin' Out I think like is a hybrid of the Sims and the Sims 2. The graphics engine is much revamped in Bustin' Out.

I don't tihnk it counts toward your bandwidth usage. I tihnk emails do however and they count towards your space depending on how many emails are stored on the server. Bandwidth usage is counted against you also when you look at your website. But cPanel? no I do not think so.

Go ahead and use SmartFTP. I had the same problem as you while trying to access my website VIA internet exploder. SmartFTP works great. In the website address spot type in your webadress and then next to it, the password. CLick on connect and you should be fine =)

How To Create A Popup Window With Javascript?
currahee replied to soleimanian's topic in Programming
I'll have to agree with dissipate and overture. It does not make a site very attractive to the user if you do that. Why? its annoying and most other websites that are ... not so good sites like they promote spyware and adware use those kinds of schemes.I would rahter just make a link that says "add this page to your favorites list!" or something like that.
