This esplains why there are so many ads & popups. People don't click em, so they just make more. BUt seriously, why would people click on such ads? When it comes to downloading spyware and stuff, I don't download a lot of suff lately, but really, what's the fuss? Oh gee I've got spyware, what's it gona do to me. Track what sites I go to? Personally I don't care, it'll go bye-bye in my once in a while scan. People are being paranoid. Sure, you may get an extra pop up once in a whle, but whats the problem with moving your mouse to the close button?

I'd say I also agree with Spectre. You were probably just tired. But here's an interesting sslightly off topic but somewhat related fact. You know how some people claim to be abducted by aliens when they are asleep and see lights? An explanation for that could be sleep paralasys: you're body is paralyzed cause youre asleep. But then you're eyes open while your asleep, and since you're asleep, you can't move. For some reason which I forgot your mind produces strange images, knida like what FuChelle saw. Of course, this isn't the case here, but if it happens in the middle of the night this could be why.

The demo is out, it's a little too big for my connection speed.The graphics look good, and the small video on the official site looks sweet (especially the part where a guy gets shot off a cliff). Since it takes place from 1600-1800 9from what I remember, not 100% sure) gunpowdre and guns will be a good addition. I play lots of RTS, and didn't like II. Too much resource management and economy for my liking. I might look into this one, but I'd say Earth 2160 looks a lot better.

Haven't heard this one. I don't reeally like Fallout Boy's lyrics, but I like Dance Dance. It's soooo catchy. It's from Burnout, it makes good driving (err... crashing) music.

I've had a look at this game a few days ago, looks sweet. Space battles are a cool idea, they add a little more depth. Apparantely there are now 6 playable classes + 17 jedis. You can only be jedi once every while so it's not too unfair. You can also use force powers, like Vader's Force Choke, when jedi. Add awsome graphics, and you've got a might gret sounding game. I'm probably gonna get it for Christmas,not sure if for PS2 or PC though.

I don't play an instrument but I'm interested in taking up guitar. Electric,of course. Seeing as how I've rediscoverd my songwriting talent, it gives me more motivation to learn.

SSMB is probalby my favorite. But what ever happened to Mario Party? Like a board game, but so much funner? Some of the minigames in 3 were truly great...

Runescape is a MMORPG made in java. It's got 3D graphics, smooth and all, but the models have almost no detail. There are ots of non-combat skills such as smithing, mining, cooking etc. I'm surprised at it's popularity. For me, it was fun for a month and then it got boring. THink of it this way: it's a free 10-20 $ if youve got a decent account.

I've been waiting for this game since May, and it's due out on Feb 6.That's a LONG wait. It's made by Petroglyph, which is mostly composed of ex-Westwood employees. In case you don't know, Westwood is the company responsible for the great Command & Conquer series. It takes place between episodes 3 and 4. The resource gathering is minimal; you get resources for controlling planets. There's gonna be space combat, which I think is awesome. On bigger ships, you can attack certain parts of them such as the turrets or sheild generators. You'll also need to load yur troops into a transport to attack a planet's surface.The game will take place in the universe, so you can attack and capture whatever planets you want. When attacking the base on the planet's surface, you can call in your spacecraft for backup or bombing runs. There will only be 2 sides (Rebels and Empire) but it srill sounds awesome. I'm thinking about, but I probably won't get it fue t so many strategy games coming out in the near future.The graphics are awesome, but the level 20 cap is dumb. I think it's meant to make PvP based more on player skill than your level. It's mostly quest based, from what I've seen. There are 6 classes and you can have a combo of any 2. The world seems HUGE. It looks good if you're into RpG's and the no monthly fee is nice. But it seems a little simple to me. I guess it depends on whether you like PvP or not.

Halo 2I don't have an Xbox, all of my friends do. It's quite fun, even though fps' aren't my style. It makes me secoond-guess my decision to buy a PS2.GTAI'm sadly not allowed to play very violent games because of my dumb sister. She was screaming when she saw the Gohma spider dude from Wind Waker. WIND WAKER! Plus, my parents don't like swearing. Turning the volume down is no prob, but I would loose a lot of the funny parts. So I'll be forced to borrow it from a friend and play it at night when no one can catch me.

It's been about half a year since I'd played it last with my firend. My favorite was the Prometheus- the zoid style mech with a giant cannon. Those were the days. It was so cool how you could eject and float around as a pilot.

W3 OWNS! I'd say the combat is a little overdone, but online is where it's at. There are some truly sweet custom games like Resident Evil or tower defenses. I don't even play normal games anymore - just customs.

Ya, Metal something. I love that game, the multiplayer is so awesome its better than about most modern multiplayer games. I wish I had an SNES... Old games are just so much funner....

Wow that's incredible... Amazing what math and technology can do when put together...

I would say Mercenaries. It's like GTA (a free roam shooter) but much more destructive. I love blowing stuff up using C4's or air strikes. And it has cool physics that sometimes make you flip a car several times in the air or do a 360 when you collide with another car. It also has a fun AI that sometimes can be smart ( once a guy tried to sneak up on me) but other times laughable. For example, once two helicopters just collided with each other in mid air and exploded. GO MERCENARIES!

Even though it was a 1-liner, I didn't know it's exact definition, so I found it informative.

I'm a deep believer, and find I'm not really against it (at least in what it's become). It's a dumb idea, dressing up in costumes that have no point to them. But it's not a real holiday in my opinion, it's just a day for kids to have fun. If you don't like it, don't go out and don't give out candy. That's what I do. And the my friends think I'm weird because of that.

Notice how this is the RTS forum. Now, what kind of game do you expect me talk about in an RTS forum? I've actually never played any Earth games, but it looks and sounds sweet so far. The Wicker Man by Iron Maiden. I love the vocals on "Your time will come" and it has some sweet guitar. The best of the beast in my opinion.

NICE! Can't really complain about the render. It's cool how there's some action going on in the background. I find the smoke trail in the sky a little odd looking though.

My favorite is Burnout Revenge. It has killer graphics, and an awesom sense of speed. Th crashes you can create in Crash mode can be pretty sweet, and I love to check traffic and see it fly across the road. Then there's Road Rage where you have to make your oppenents crash (takedown). It's also got a sweet punk/rock soundtrack featuring some of my fav bands like Billy Talent and MxPx and sweet online. I especially like the way online crash is set up like golf- get to a target amount of damage in as few runs as you can. Midnight Club 3 is also pretty good. Tuning is fun, and there are some sweet jumps, but it's not quite as thrilling as burnout.
