What Is The Meaning Of Life? you tell me the meaning of life
Goosestaf replied to electriic ink's topic in General Discussion
the meaning of life is vague. . . The basic point of a humans life is to reproduce. . . . . . .. . . . .. . . . . . there done, . . .next question :DI don't believe there is any deep philospihical meaning for life. People just hope there is soemthing more to it than jsut reproducing and raising offspring to make themselves feel better :Dthats my opinion anyway . . . . -
Eating meat is morally correct :DWe need nutrients naturally found in meats to survive. Being an all out vegen in my opinion is not natural.Humans have eaten meat for ever, so why stop now.I do agree that the way some animal farms operate is not fair, but its not the case all the time. I believe in killing animals in a humane way so that they feel no pain. Other than that breeding animals souly to be eaten by humans is fine :DAs someone has said its survival of the fittest. I don't have a problem with vegeterians normally, but do when they try and victimize meat eaters and make you feel guilty. Thats just silly. My final argument is meat is yummy

mmmm ive got bfv and don't like it as much as battlefield 1942.Mainly, because the game play was more varied in 42, and the game engine gave much better low spec graphics. As bfv is a shader engine where as 42 wasnt the game looks terrible on low graphic settings. But thats bareable. . . .What i don't like is that the gameplay is so linear.Even though bfv features some maps similar in theme to classics of BF42 it jsut doesnt match it for me.I'm not a fan of the Vietnam War game theme. It all gets quite boring for me.Down to personal prefernce . . . . . Altough there are some great modifications for BFV such as Point of Existence and Operation Peace KeeperBoth defintely worth a download, and for Battlefield 42, theres like a million rgeat mods. Desert combat, forgotten hope and galkatic conquest to name but a few.

Are You For Or Against Cloning? what would be your reason?
Goosestaf replied to adriantc's topic in Science and Technology
Cloning animals. . . . yes. . it could be extremely useful to the human race.Cloning humans. . . . no. . . mainly because of the huge ethical thing of people clonging humans and harvestign them for organs and other horrible things liek that. Although if humans were cloned i dont see it as being problem, would be no difference than having identical twins i guess. . . .But the whole designer baby thing could be a problem. Its a;; a very touchy subject i guess. . . . -
Its not that much bigger than a normal mouse and its really bloody comfortable.Accuracy is the best u can buy. Laser is so much better than optical and ball. What does it matter if your mouse is ugly anyway lol I think it looks alrite anyways I would prefer better Ergonomics and function over aesethics anyday.

I currently have a Very bog standard ball mouse, Microsoft one. nasty nasty thing which is sh*t. . . . For my new pc i bought https://www.eclipsecomputers.com/prod.aspx?BySKU=.asde=MUL-OPTOEMBK But i need to do a product study for my product design coursework so im gonna rip apart that mouse. so i am going to buy the mx1000 as its just amazingly accurate apparently. https://www.eclipsecomputers.com/prod.aspx?BySKU=.asode=MUL-MX1000L Even though i haven't really seen the point in cordless mice and have found them weird to use briefly, this doesnt come in a cord version so i don't really have an option. I'm sure i'll get usd to it Now post what you got and your opinions!

Well i use dreamweaver and actually own a legal copy :PI've never used front page, only seen screenm shots. I've also heard bad things about it too. also from looking at the screen shots it looks alot less user friendly.Dreamweaver for me was quite easy to egt used too. it took a little bit of messing around with sites i opened with it, but i sussed it in the end. Now i find it alife saver. Its justified as the industry standard.Firefox cocks some pages up tho , where as IE shows them perfectly ;)so much for that firefox propaganda "webdesigners have to spend extra time makign sites work for IE which wastes time and money! blah blah blah"

Do U Think The Computer Can Still Be Improved?
Goosestaf replied to FiReStOrM's topic in Science and Technology
Well yeh its obvious technology will advance. the main issue is when it gets to a point where it wouldnt be cost effective to create the technology for PCs. Also just a small question, what powers these "supercomputers" and where are they used?I would guess it is jsut multiple processors hooked up and sued my militaries. -
i am not using a CMS atm.I would use mambo over anything else if i did. I've looked around many CMS's and mambo was the best, but i won't bother with making a site with it untill i really need to/when i can actually edit it freely to how i want it. i don't want to start constraing my designs to a cms just yet.I dislike the look of PHPnuke though.

That is amazing. . . . simply amazing. How the person coded the windows to change size and things is so koo.thats somethign for everyone to aspire too lol -
Zero hour is alright.Great adittion to the game but doesnt really chnage much unlike previous Westwood made C&C expansions i.e Fire storm Cabal turing against everyone and bring a new interestong storyline. and Yuris revenge , pretyty much smae thign again but is fun to play. The best thign about Zero Hour are the new generals. These add more depth and stratergy to the game and add to the replayyability factor. But other from that the storyline is pretty much the same old thing from C&C Generals. The new units added to the game, again provide more depth and stratergy to the game. The battle bus for GLA is a good example. FIll it full of troops to act as a transport, but when it gets to a certain level of damage it becomes an imobile bunker which ur troops can fire out of, which can be useful.Chinas new Helix helicopter is much like an overlord tank of the sky. It can hold 3 troops who can fire from inside, it can be upgraded with mini gun, additional room or a propagander post.and to counter this new threat the USA has the Avenger, which is a good form of anti air. These are but to name a few of my favourites form each side, there are a total of 30 new units and 20 new technologies.Either way if you've got generals, this is worth while buying, although i'm still not a fan of the generals games as they lack what all previous C&C games had. The great far fetched storylines, great thumping soundtracks and kool story line movies. Generals lacks all of these and i don't belive generals would have been made if not under EAs control. Lets jsut hope the next C&C title being made brings the greatness abck to C&C

well sky dome is a better name but i personally don't care. Its been legally bought so they can call it what ever they want. thats how i see it.And yes it might be a land mark, and some text books and song might be "incorrect" but i bet ya everyone will still call it sky dome

yup, sounds like adware/spyware to me. the scum of the earth in my opinion :DThe adds are getting quite clever though, i'll give the makers that. so like they make the add look like its in a frame, and the scroll abr is half down so if you were stupid you would try and drag the scroll bar, which means u got to the site :Dhate it all lol

mmm i personlly wouldnt do any hard modding. I've jsut stuck a blue cold cathode, and a couple blue LED laser lights in.very blooooooooooooo

yeh, that when is stretching itself. . . . I built it but graphics card isn't giving me any output so ive taken my whole system in to be built up again. As its the place i bought most thigns from, they will rewplace anything which is faulty, which is from there. Never mind lol Does anyone know what is the largest size 10,000 rpm HD you can egt atm? I was considering getting a few of them, but i could only find ones with 74gig. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ there also bloody expensive, but would be bloody fast also
