Hey I just recently changed my sig opening a big space perfect for a sig image! I'm good at photoshop but not nearly as good as some of the members here so I'll request for one.I can't really think of what I want so I'll leave it up to you guys. Whatever you guys think looks good would be great!Size: 350x150 (or something close that will fill that space) Theme: Grunge perhaps? Whatever you think will look best!Render: SureRender Theme: Well I am a programmer... how about some code in the background? I donno. Be creative!Color: Blue is my fav color, but blacks and greens look good too!Text: Yes please, alex7h3pr0gr4m3rOther effects: Can you kind of give it that glass look that userbars and mac osx has?

Uh oh... God better get his lawyers. I mean, heaven isn't a cheap place to live. If this Ernie Chambers succeeds, God might not have enough money and the bank might repo heaven! Imagine the outcry! I mean souls need a place to go, and if they don't have God's pad to party in, where are they gunna go? Hell i guess, but that place is boring, full of businesses and office workers who sit in a 5 by 5 cubical all day staring at a computer screen. No place to have a little fun!

All of these "get money by doing every day stuff" sites always fail. They either scam their members or try to be legit but cant handle the amount of people trying to make a few bucks and their advertisers give out on them and they run out of business. Perhaps if this does work out, this could be fixed by instead of giving fixed amount for each post, give the amount dependent on how much content your post has (Like Xisto ). You can even modify it so that any less than 50 words and the algorithm that calculates the money would be drastically reduced, to almost nothing, that way one liners mean nothing. I think it would be a great idea if any of these get rich quick by doing stuff you normally do online ever worked. I wouldn't spend too much time on it because it will most likely be dead in a few months.

Many times I'm browsing the internet and see a forum where I want to add a quick comment but don't want to give that forum my email address or really be bothered by them ever again, just wanted to be heard, and in that case, this is a GREAT idea!

I already saw it a few months ago. It was pretty good. The ending was worth the whole movie. It is the most moving ending I have ever seen in a movie. I don't mean moving as in crying and stuff but i mean just the power it has over your mind and what it makes you think of is just amazing. Even though these wouldn't really be called "spoilers", I put them in a spoiler tag just because some people don't want to read them because they may want to see the movie. They don't really give anything away though:These are the lines I'm talking about: That must have been the most chilling line in a movie I have ever watched. It's just scary, but I do advise you to watch it. It's a great movie well worth the time to go down to the theater and watch.

Am I the only one who voted no for this? Sure I'd like the power and the intimidation I'd give newbies if I was a mod, but I like this forum and I know if I became a mod only a matter of days until It is completely destroyed and I most likely banned. I am evil after all and therefore would most likely end up deleting topics left and right, warning mods for telling me how to moderate, attempting to ban opaque and buffalo help, and all together rain havoc on my fellow posters. For the sake of man kind DO NOT give me any power! God help you all if I become a member of congress, or even worse the president. You will all die very cruel and painful deaths. So for the sake of your own souls, DON'T make me a mod. That is all.

I agree with abminara, and I personally would hate this job. I only play games occasionally when it was a rough day at school or just have to empty my mind, I couldn't stand too much more than that. I think if you want to play games for a living however, there are better ways of doing it rather than being a game tester. If you reviewed games and posted your reviews on a website and it got popular you would probably get more money than being a beta tester. Beta testers as GamerGlitch said, are payed very minimal and theres no real promotion you can get.All in all this job is for losers who didn't go to college and have no real skills to get a real job and think that games are the reason to live.

On a different forum I post on they actually have a bbcode for embedding flash in your posts/sig. I think this would make a pretty neat contribution to Xisto! I know it can be easily exploited because of the power of flash, BUT, it would be great to get flash animations in our sigs. It would really be cool if we could rely on flash instead of ugly, choppy, gif animations Just a thought...

To stop php errors from occuring ad an @ symbol before each function that is giving you problems. Check the line numbers in the errors for seeing where to add them. Example: @include'file.php';

This is why I always keep a copy of all of my websites locally on my harddrive :PThis sounds like these two just decided to have some fun and see what kind of havoc they could cause. I agree sometimes website hacking and sql injection can be fun but I never do it on a real person's website. It's more fun to use simulations like hackthissite.org. Whoever did this is pathetic that they have nothing better to do than wreck what others have worked on. Good luck rebuilding your site

No offense, but I find somebody who's favorite film is a comedy to be kind of shallow. I mean, just because you laugh a bit doesn't make it a great film. Good directing, a great story, and good acting makes a good film in my opinion. I LOVE sci-fi so of course my favorite film is serenity, based on the original sci-fi series TV show Firefly. It's witty, has a great plot and the directing is absolutely beautiful.

Yes, just typing $DOCUMENT_ROOT only works if global variables have been forwarded to normal variables. Try this: <?PHP include($_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] . "/phpincludes/top_link_1.php"); ?>

Here's an algorithm I used for a text rpg i built into an AIM bot a while back. I assume different players have different levels and this should determine the amount of exp he or she gets? Here it is: ((x*x)*1.8)+x*(1+(ceil(x/15)-1)*40)where x is the level of the player you killed. But it really depends on what different amounts of experience cause your player to level up. You should really be able to do this stuff before programming a game... Perhaps instead of working on a lame text based browser game you should spend your time learning how to make algorithms.

That load was killer and I'm at my university with a T1 line!Anyway on to your post: Why did they make new 7 wonders? What was wrong with the old ones? In my opinion the pyramids and the stonehenge should be in the top 7. They are certainly more interesting than a lot of the ones that they picked. Besides, who picked these new wonders and who gave them the authority to decide?

How To Create Your Own Mp3 Ringtone For Mobile Phone
galexcd replied to leoncreations's topic in General Discussion
I found this quite interesting but how did you get the music files off of your computer and onto your phone? I'm not into phones too much and besides making calls and texting I can't really too much. -
I hate those stupid game creation programs and people who use them and think that they are a "game maker"... I'm sure you don't act like that but I am evil so I have no choice but to insult you :PTry to model your own level in maya, or cinema 4d, or 3d studio, and code physics and all of the important stuff in c++ and bring your code and models together with opengl. Not as easy as your little program now is it?

You can reset your password but it will cost 10 credits if you just forgot it. This can be done here, but if you truly didn't forget it, and believe it is Xisto's fault I'd PM Opaque or buffalo help if I were you.

Cats and dogs don't "need" them, yet, but you can have a chip installed in them, but these are not GPS chips, (they might sell some kind of GPS chips for your pets but its not too popular) the kinds of chips they are putting in pets right now store the information of the owners, kind of like a digital dog tag.

Guess what? Your one liner inspired me to report that post! Oh yes by the way, windows vista is the worst attempt at trying to copy Mac Os X EVER! Not only did they completely fail at making it usable, but it is 4 times slower than XP...

I actually agree witht tdktank59. I know exactly what you mean. Once again to cover my own *bottom* I have to say I'm not racist, but this does sometimes irritate me... I realize that some African Americans are still offended at white people for what happened 100 years ago, and I agree we were terrible, BUT nobody who is doing this today lived back then. Everybody who is acting like its our fault even though nobody in our generation had that kind of prejudice and nobody in their generation experienced it, so why are we still fighting about it? Why do the African American act as if we owe them when really all we know about our history is what we've learned in school. How did we get from taking about different races and their words to sagging pants? I couldn't stop laughing after I read that.

I think before we even start to develop anything like this we need to think of what is moral and what crosses past the barrier of being amoral. These little children who's parents will force to have this "installed" in them will have no privacy unless they have it removed, but then what hospital would remove it? This isn't a necessity to the patient's health and therefore no insurance will cover it forcing the subject to pay for the procedure him or herself, not to mention dangerous. If these things are going to go into peoples' eyes, there is a great risk of blindness. Who is to blame when a concerned parent has this done to their son or daughter, and the procedure goes wrong? What if that child will never see again? I think people aren't ready yet for such an invasion of privacy.

I think I found a bug in the IPB software that if I am correct, really has nothing to do with Xisto unless somebody changed the code. I'm pretty sure when viewing the list of topics, the last post column should show the name of the member who last posted am I right? Well if I'm not much mistaken, this topic's last poster is t3jem, but when looking in the list of topics my name comes up?
