I have been playing Wolf ET for about 2 years now, and absolutely love it. It is by far the best free FPS game ever. What server do you play? Does you clan have it's own?I haven't played in a couple of weeks, I've been a bit busy, but I would love to drop by and play with a fellow Trap 17 member.

Spanish 21 is a casino card game that is similar to Blackjack, but there are a few different rules. The dealer still (usually) hits on 16 and stays on 17. And the goal, obviously, is to beat the dealer without breaking 21. However in spanish 21:The 10's have been removed from the deck (meaning that there are less cards worth 10 left for play) This moves the odds of the game in favor of the Casino with respect to blackjack. But in order to make up for this there are some other rules that help the player:The player can double down at anytime.A player that gets a blackjack is automatically paid. Unlike Blackjack where the dealer can get a 21 and force a Push. Then there are some variable rules/payouts for getting 21 in interesting ways. For example a 7-7-7 that are all of the same suit pays out big time. Some of these rules make spanish 21 a little more exciting that standard blackjack.

I have it, but haven't started playing yet. However I did play the first Call of Duty and loved it, so I really find it hard to believe that COD 2 will not be fantastic as well.

Favourite Final Fantasy Game YOUR FAVOURITE FINAL FANTASY GAME
atomicnacho replied to evangelion's topic in Computer Gaming
VII is the only one that I have played, so I guess my vote doesn't really count for much. -
I've never played it, but it sounds pretty cool. I did see a bit on Penny Arcade about it. They gave it some pretty good reviews.

I think that they are stretching it a bit to even call google a product. I would really classify google as more of a service...Anyway pretty good list, and an interesting thing to think about.

It really depends on excatly what you are talking about. Console or PC? Call of Duty 1 or Call of Duty 2. Are you looking to play online a lot or just interested in the single player missions? The only help I can really give is for Call of Duty 1 for PC. I have played through the single player missions and really liked it. The game play is very realistic without getting too bogged down and not being fun anymore. As for the online aspect of Call of Duty, I have never played online, but know some people who have. From what they have told me the number of players playing online compared to some other games is kind low. However I did play with about 5 friends at a lan party and we had the most fun playing Call of Duty multiplayer. If you wern't aware Call of Duty 2 has recently been released and has been getting some pretty good reviews. I haven't had a chance to play it yet, but I'm sure someone else here has and can give you some advice about it.

My favorite has got to be Invader Zim.. If you haven't heard of it, it was a relatively short lived cartoon on Nickelodeon(sp?) written by Johen Vasquez. The animation style is very unique, and the characters were the best, especially Gir. The episodes have been released on DVD, so If you haven't seen them go get the dvd NOW.Some others I really like are:Home Movies (from Adult Swim on Cartoon Network)Simpons (obviously)FuturamaFamily GuyAqua Teen Hunger ForceMisson Hill (short stint on Adult Swim)

Dvd9 To Dvd5 Put DVD 9 Movies, on to a standard Disc
atomicnacho replied to alexuk2463's topic in Software
Actually I don't think that DVD Shrink actually comes with a burner, rather it integrates itself with Nero Burning Rom in order to do automatic burning. At least that is what my version of DVD Shrink does.I usually use the automatic compression mode for the main film, after removing extraneous audio tracks, then go to the extras and set custom compression to the smallest file size. -
Poll: Best Games Of All Time! Bets games ever
atomicnacho replied to savge17's topic in Computer Gaming
Well, which game started it all? The only one on your list that could possibly qualify for that is Doom. The rest of the games are way to new to have really started anything. The Doom series (one could even argue for Wolfenstien 3d) started what we now know of as FPS games. There really wouldn't be anything if it wasn't for doom.I guess I also have to give props to StarCraft too, it certainly wasn't the first RTS game but it was a really good one. And also the first one that I played. It also was probably the first game I played online against other people. I had a blast playing that game online. -
Why And When Did You Make Your First Site?
atomicnacho replied to seanooi's topic in General Discussion
I made my first site for my communications class in school. It was a plain html site that was god-aweful. I loaded it with animated gifs and annoying graphics. It was hosted on one of the Universities servers and didn't manage to get deleted for a long time so I had the opportunity to go back and look at it after a few years. It was so horrible, but I had to laugh. -
It turns out we actually have the technology to make our own oil, for fuel. The processes and catalysts were developed during WWII by the Germans so that they could make their own diesel fuel. A process called steam reforming yeilds what is called syn-gas which can then be further processed into olefins, which are the valuable component in oil.In South Africa, which is far from any sources of natural oil they actually use this process to make their own oil. If you purchase gasoline in South Africa it is synthetic.

I'd say it's a matter of the amount of space she needs. If she has a small collection or is just looking to have a bunch of songs for the gym or something I would go with the nano. I just got one for someone and it is really slick. If she has a need for more space, ie she has a lot of music and would like to carry around all of her music I would go with the normal ipod, granted they are more expensive, but the new video ipods are pretty sweet.

How To Add Greeting Cards On Website?
atomicnacho replied to itssami's topic in Websites and Web Designing
One thing you could do if you want simple cards is to install Coppermine. Coppermine is an open source (free) photo gallery, but it has some e-card features. So you could upload photos, or cards that you create in photoshop and Coppermine will handle the rest.I'm not sure it is able to do all that you are looking for but it may be worth looking at. -
I have a Kodak dx6490 and am really happy with it. It's a 4MP psuedo-SLR style camera. The price has come way down here in the US since I got mine about two years ago when they first came out. So I'm sure that they have made it to wherever you are and hopefully the price is near what they cost here which I think will bring it within your price range. The bad points first;First it's kinda big so if you are looking for a "toss it in your pocket and go" digicam it's not for you. Also the autofocus can be a bit of a pain so sometimes I miss a shot or two because the focus didn't work the way it was supposed to. This is especially bad at full zoom, but its really not that big of a deal. I'm pretty sure it can be fixed by firmware updates. (which reminds me that I should go look on the kodak site for any updates)The good; First the obvious...10X zoom is awesome. You can zoom in on anything and not lose any image quality. The zoom is controlled by a little lever on the top that you activate with your thumb and it is smooth and fast. And if you are not in the know about digicams digital zoom is worthless, you should ignore it when making your decision. The thing that actually sold me on the camera was the 1.9" LCD. Big LCDs are a little more common now that they were two years ago, but back then it was huge. It's really great to take a photo and diplay it large enought on the lcd so that you can effectively judge it's quality. It takes great photos, the colors are great, focus is sharp (as long as the autofocus worked, the little popup flash is nice (you also have the ability to connect a pro style flash), and the overall build quality of the camera feels nice and solid.Check the prices in your area, if it's in your price range I would highly reccomend it.

What Do You Think Of E-bay? any experiences?
atomicnacho replied to Peaktao's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I'm a big fan of ebay, I think I'm in the 20s for purchases and have not had a problem. But more and more you have to be really careful. I would never buy any really big ticket items, ie laptops or things like that for thousands of dollars. I've heard too many stories about people never getting their items after sending the money. And as much as paypal would like to make you feel all warm and fuzzy about being safe and helping you out if you get ripped off they really are not that much help.My Ebay rules are:1) as someone else has said, only buy from established sellers with good feedback ratings. established meaning that they have been members for a long time and make a lot of sales.2) No big ticket items, expensive things like laptops or other expensive things are better left to more reliable sources.3) If something seems too good to be true, it probably is. ie don't be suprised when your spectacular deal really isn't what you expected it to be.But if you are careful, you (like myself) can have a good experience with ebay. You can find just about anything there and usually at a good price, just use your common sense and you will be fine. -
Calling the Xbox 360 Next Generation has nothing to do with PC gaming or PCs in general. Next Gen is reffering to the tendency for gaming systems to come out in generations, like the following generations for nintendo:NESSNESN64Game CubeRevolutionSo when the gamecube came out it was a "Next Gen" system because it part of the next generation of consoles, along with the PS2 and the Xbox. PCs are likely to always be more graphically powerful just because of thier ability to be easily upgraded. But that aside the Xbox 360 is a Next Gen console with along with the PS3 and the Revolution.

I have a 5Mb Cable Connection, but generally I don't see download speeds above 1Mb/s. It's still super fast though.

If you are in the US you should be able to stop the calls by registering on the national do not call list, Here. I also heard a while back that the telemarketers will be able to call cell phones soon which will mean that we may end up paying for their annoying calls, so you may want to add those too.

I've been playing ET for a couple of years now and I love it. It certainly isn't as good graphically as the new games, but for gameplay it's great. Teamplay is emphasized a lot and to be good you need to work together as a team. But certainly the best part, and reason I started playing is that it's FREE. You just d/l it and you're playing. Not all of the modded maps are bad, there are some really good ones. Since almost all of the maps are driven by specific objectives when you first play a map you don't have any idea what to do or where to go. Inevitably you need to play a new map 5 or 10 times before you know where to go and what to do.

I've been using Dreamweaver, and it has been pretty good. No Complaints yet.

How Much Do You Pay For Your Internet And How Fast Is It?
atomicnacho replied to truman69's topic in General Discussion
I have a 5Mb cable connection and we pay $39 for the broadband plus another 11 for cable TV. Up until about 3 months ago it was 2Mb, but we got this letter in the mail saying that our speed had been increased to 5 at no cost to us.
