  1. I have too many to really say, I mean I listen to a wide variety of music and to each genre I have a favorite. Of all time my favorite song so far is Kryptonite by Three Doors Down. I really enjoy Three Doors Down, but it's not really why it's my favorite. I know that there is a meaning towards it, and I am sure that that is why it's my favorite... it gives me tingly feelings whenever I hear it.
  2. I have so many! My favorite show at the moment are Queer as Folk reruns. The rest are: Days of Our Lives, Young and the Restless, That 70's Show, The Simpsons, Dawson's Creek, Roswell, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Antique Roadshow, Law and Order: SVU... I can go on. ^-^
  3. I have only been to the United States. I would like to go to Ireland, Scotland, England, Italy, Egypt, China, Japan, and Brazil. I've been to about every province in Canada except for P.E.I. In the states I've been to New York, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Ohio, Indiana, and North Carolina.
  4. My favorite thing to do is sleep. I like my sleep. I can't always fall asleep when I should (cough it being 6:54 am and not having slept yet). Or can I go to sleep willingly. When I get to sleep though, I love it. I could sleep all day if my mother would let me. My second favorite thing to do is watch my soaps. It's my favorite because my sister hogs the remote and my t.v is broken so I'm usually stuck watching Yes, dear or That's so Raven .My third favorite thing to do is go driving. I love to drive and not have any place to go... kind of sucks now that the gas is expensive.
  5. My fear of spiders isn't as bad as yours. I was making my bed a few weeks ago and there was a daddy long legs on my bed and I started crying and my chest felt heavy. I wouldn't sleep in my bed for about a week, plus the spider was all gutsy on my bed. I am scared of anything that's under 3 inches. It's funny because they're more scared of us then we are of them. Phobia's can really make your anxious, I know that if I even see a fuzz ball from a brush on the ground I get freakish. Don't know what to say to make you feel any better, I am too chicken crap to know myself. Good luck in the future though.
  6. $5,000 isn't a lot of money. I could see myself blowing it on useless things like a small slurpee machine (I don't like slurpees). I probably wouldn't do anything with comics, games, and or invest. I am poor with money, it goes to three things: Coke, smokes, and a new tooth brush every week. One part would go to my habit, and the other would go to crap gizmo's if I had $5,000.
  7. I dropped out of my final year of highschool about a 9 months ago because I was going through a really rough time. I dropped out of my final year of highschool and I only had about a few months to go but it was just to much so I set my goals low. Just before I started seeing my councilor my goals in life where set really short. I had wanted to be a hair dresser. I wanted to live in a small apartment with two cats, no boyfriend or husband, groceries, and a stable life.Once my councilor convinced me I convinced myself that I didn't want to become a hair dresser. I wanted to do something I loved. I do like hair, make up, and etc. It's just I didn't love doing it. When I was in 9th grade I grew love for History, I was really interested in it. My grades from grade 9 to grade 11 where always 100%. My other classes where about 94-98% but I never got less then 100% on any of my history work. History is something I love. I loved learning about the Egyptions, Napoleon, Marie Antoinette, etc. It finally just came to me that I want my profession to have something to do with the research and explaining of history. I want to be a Historian or just a History Teacher, that's my goal.My life alone is still there. I don't want a boyfriend/husband/signifigant other in my life. I want my kitties. I set my sights higher then a small apartment though... I want to live in a house, a nice house, a small house. If I have the chance I would also like to be an entrepreneur. I has learned about what an entrepreneur is and what they do through my history class so that's also another interest of mine and maybe a goal one day.
  8. My favorite cartoons now adays are 6teen, braceface, and The Tofu's. My favorite cartoon of all times is definitely Simpsons. I watch it every single day... sometimes 3-4 times a day. Another semi close favorite to Simpsons is Family Guy, but it's not my all time favorite.
  9. If I had a billion dollars I would probably open up my own business. I want to sell salon products to salons and people that run their own businesses. My mom is a hair dresser so I've been in many supply houses for salons and I want to open a business alike only in a bigger city. With a billion dollars I could advertise like there is no tomorrow.I would also buy a house in Calgary Al, and in my city. Enough rooms to fit my immediate family... which would be a lot of rooms. I would also make sure that my life was secure as well as my families. I would make sure we didn't get in debt in the future. I wouldn't spend it all on a lavish life style, I would still be me trying to get great discount prices at walmart. Buying my meat from safeway and eatting mcdonalds instead of steak at a fancy restaraunt.
  10. Before my audio driver went I had used both Winamp and Windows Media Player. I used Winamp to listen to my music because Windows would be a pain in the butt because it froze. I would use Windows Media Player to watch trailers to upcoming movies. All in all I liked them both, for some kind of reason that equaled up. I don't have either anymore due to my audio not working but if it worked then I would definitely have both. I depended on them both. Ever since I've been without, music just hasn't been the same.
  11. I am not from Europe but Canada does give off many stereotypes towards the U.S and the same goes for the U.S to Canada. I have been to the states many times and I have met a lot of people. My first impression wasn't a negative one at all. I thought that every place we went everyone was really nice. I have never met a rude American (in person) yet. I have met some over weight ones but I don't think that they're all over weight. None of my experience in meeting people from or in the U.S live up to the stereotypes I have heard.
  12. I don't know if I have. I can be at a place where I have never been before and all of a sudden I see something familiar and it kind of makes me feel all weird. I sometimes think back to my dreams but I can't really remember most of them. I don't know if it's a 'dream come true' because I don't know if it's in just my imagination or if I actually dreamt about it. I can only recall one incident where I had, I know I have had many others but I can only remember one. I was at camp and having a hissifit because I was fighting with the other kids. I was placed in the corner and I saw a door that I had believed to have seen before. I can still see the door and when I have Deja vu I usually think back to that time. The door is becoming a blur though.
  13. I signed up for it a few weeks ago and I gave up because I'm not too fond of giving away personal information over the internet. I have some points on there but they'll be put to no use because I don't like it and won't continue to use it.I would rather buy myself a domain and not having to worry about when it becomes available again to renew it. 9.00 a year for a domain isn't that bad so I'd rather buy mine.
  14. I don't think I've ever played X-Box so I can't really prefure it. I like Playstation because it's got a lot of games that I like and it's the only modern game console I got. I have a nintendo which I also love playing, I believe I play it much more then my Playstation 2. My Nintendo is only a 64 but it's my favorite. Since I believe you're talking more modern then Playstation 2 is my favorite out of the rest... didn't much like Game Cube.
  15. I've never been at the point of crying when my computer was acting up. I have been ready to pull out my hair many times though. Adaware wouldn't work for me but I finally got it too work once I looked up on the internet on how to fix it.My speakers don't work because my sound card just won't install, I don't know why it won't but I gave up on it. It worked really good for the first while then all of a sudden three of my drivers went dead... I have my mouses installation CD and my monitors driver can be found on the site as well as my soundcard drive yet it just won't work. I can't reformat my computer because I don't have a Windows Installation disc and the man who sold me my won't give me the drivers installation disc either because if I break it I have to go to him. If you are working on your computer while you're doing a scan can make it freeze and that's all I can tell you with the adaware. Maybe you should look up on the internet or ask in the computer forum if they know what can be the problem.I am not too sure about your volume situation, it works sometimes and other times it doesn't work... maybe you need a new sound card?To make your computer a bit faster you could do a disk clean up and a disk defrag if you know what you're doing. Disk cleanup is pretty easy, I am assuming you're using windows if not I am not sure. I am no expert though so I don't know what the problem may be. But good luck with your computer.
  16. I am not a fan of watching sports so I don't have a favorite team in my favorite sport. I love Lacrosse. I've been playing it since I was 13 and I haven't stopped for any season yet. I don't know why it's my favorite sport... maybe it's because it's the only one I'm good at. I do watch hockey sometimes though, not so much my cities team because they suck. I like hockey too, I am not so good at playing it so it doesn't make it fun when I do play. I can do goaly good in floor hockey and that's about it. >.<... my reason for not being good at hockey is simply because I can not skate ;[.
  17. I use to drink when I was about 12-15 which is a really young age to even start drinking; peer pressure I believe. I don't know why I stopped drinking, back then I would be thrilled to even drink wine at a wedding and get away with it... now I just won't touch it. I drink Ginger Ale.My friend was killed driving impared so that's another thing that makes me not want to drink either. I don't want to die reckless, getting drunk does make you reckless. I stopped hanging around with a lot the people I drank with after she died. Alcohol can be a depressant, so I wouldn't want to put my hands on it knowing I could do something regretful whatever it may be. Would I drink in the future once I am legal to do so? Maybe for a special occasion toast, nothing more.I don't believe it's bad to have a glass of wine and not get a buzz off of it. If you can drink responsibly then I say go for it. I am not against a good time either, but if you're being reckless about it (not saying that if you get drunk you're reckless, but a lot of people are) then I'd have to say find another way to have fun.
  18. I've used Opera, Firefox and I.E. I liked Mozilla the best out of all of them but I don't use it because I'm use to I.E. Opera always gave me problems, it would freeze up on me. I haven't used it in years so I don't know if it's better now. Firefox is great with the pop-up blocker, I use it when I want to go on a site with many Pop-ups. When I first got Firefox I thought that it looked exactly like Opera and I was a skeptic because of my past problems with Opera. It wasn't like the Opera I had used after the first 4 times of using it. Without it I would be pulling my hair because Internet Explorer was screwed up.Internet Explorer is troublesome. I'd strongly recommend not using it. Gives me one problem after another and I still use it. I use it because Firefox takes a while to load up on my computer and I don't like waiting if I'm doing something. So I'd really suggest Firefox if you decide to switch. You can give it a try and I'm sure you'll like it. If not then I strongly suggest sticking to what you have now.
  19. My sister has the same problem... only we can't reboot her computer because her cd-rom drive don't work. It always gives off a "This program is something something illegal" I've tried spybot and adaware... the only things that would actually run and everytime I do a scan she has adware and spyware out the roof. It's not been so bad since I disabled her ActiveX. This makes me mad because it's always me trying to fix her computer. I have sat there trying to teach her how to scan for viruses, make space on her computer, scan for her adware and spyware... disk defragments and what not. I've put many hours and money into her computer... way more money then I've spent on mine. I am guessing you have a adware/spyware problem. You may need to really watch what your downloading. Scan everything you download with a virus scanner. Don't say yes to ActiveX downloaders on pages that just randomly open, and keep your firewall on... that is if you have one. I can't say which programs to get, I just use adaware and spybot so I'm not to sure. I am no a computer expert, but I know what I need to know to keep my computer running. I have yet to reformat my computer... though I better not jinx myself. I just don't... download anything like Music, games, warez, movies, shows, porn, or add-ons to anything.
  20. It's nice that you're keeping your name in memory of your mothers bestfriend. My name is Michelle-Rae, it's like Michellerae. People call me Michelle and I've told that my name is Michelle which infact it's not. I was named after some little girl named Michelle Rae that my grandmother babysat over 20 years ago. No clue who she is only that in which I stated in the previous sentence. I looked up the name Michelle-Rae in the name dictionary and the online name dictionaries and there were none for Michelle-Rae. I looked up Michelle and Rae seperately. Michelle means "Feminine of Michael gift from God" and that is the French definition. The hebrew definitions for my name are "Close to God" and "Who is like God". I knew about the "Feminine of Michael" but I didn't know of the God part in any way. Rae means "Doe" in English and "Grace" in Scottish. I never really had appreciation for the name Michelle when I was younger. I thought it was manly and similar to Michael. The French version of Michael is also pronounced Michele so that I never really liked either. I grew to appreciate my name when I knew that there weren't many Michelle-Rae's, maybe even none. I know there are many Michelle's and many Rae/Ray's and Michelle Rae/Ray with Rae being a part of the middle name. I have yet to meet a Michelle-Rae. Like I stated above, I was always known as Michelle. I had always thought Rae was a part of my Middle name. It never really hit me that my name was Michelle-Rae until just last year. My dad was giving me heck when I told him my name is Michelle and not Michelle-Rae. He then told me that my name is Michelle-Rae and Michelle is nothing more then a nickname. It's tough having a hyphinated name... my sister does too and she knew her name was so-andso all along... I didn't. I didn't know if I should have added my story, but I did. 21. I have cheated and I have been the cheated. It's not a nice feeling at all. It's wrong to cheat on whomever you are with. Even if they don't find out you'll still have a pull of regret on your side. I am sure if you found out your 'other' was cheating on you I'm sure you wouldn't like it at all. What if they contracted an STD in the process and passed it on to you? Even if you aren't in the sex bits with your girlfriend/boyfriend you can pass on herpies and other STD's that don't come from intercourse or foreplay. What if your girlfriend got pregnant or boyfriend got someone pregnant, I am pretty sure you wouldn't like the fact of that either. What if the cheater, this being male got some other woman pregnant... I am sure the girlfriend/boyfriend would not stick around.A lot of things come out of cheating. Whether it be regret, suspicion, finding out, pregnancies, STD's, and etc. It's wrong... I learned it the hard way. So all in all stick to one person. Karma can and most likely will happen.
  22. I am in-between with the abortion situation. I don't like the fact of what an abortion is, I absolutely dispise it. Some people have no choice but to resort to an abortion. There are women that get pregnant and are unwed that parents or family force it upon them. Some families kill their daughter if they get pregnant unwed... I'd rather she had the abortion than be killed herself. Some just can't have babies or it could put their lives at jeopardy. For the people who get abortions because a child might ruin their lives is wrong. There are other options for them. Adoption is one of them, there are many people out there that can't get pregnant or refuse to get pregnant again because of still born or miss carriage. Like I said, I am in-between. I think it's wrong, but in some ways it could be doing some right. I would like to say I would never do it myself, but if my diabetes could end up with me having a stillborn, miscarriage or physical, mental disabilities I would get an abortion because I wouldn't want to put a child through that. 23. The worst game ever in my opinion was that Pikachu game from pokemon that came out years ago. The one where there is a microphone that allows you to control Pikachus movements and what not.The game didn't work, and the microphone hookup screwed up my controller to my nintendo 64. The game I believe is called 'Hey you Pikachu!' for Nintendo 64. I thought it was a cool idea at the time but when I went and bought it I felt completely different about it. It was stupid! And like I stated above that the thing wouldn't work for me.I only have one type of favorite game and speaking into a microphone is definitely not my type of game. Regrets in buying it completely.
  24. I have a few favorite books. My first favorite would be Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen... I'm a sucker for those kinds of books. My second favorite is Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck. I read it twice in grade 10 and I fell in love with it. My third favorite book is Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt. This was one of the first books I've ever boughten and kept until my house flooded. My fourth is Where the Heart Is by Billie Letts... I read this when I was about 11 and it's been one of my favorites for years.
  25. If I can get into a normal sleeping pattern I can sleep a good ten hours which is a good night sleep. If I am in a crappy sleep pattern I can sleep maybe 10 hours a week. In the summer I can go for sleeps from 1 hour to 12 hours... depending on if my depression and anxiety aren't screwing me up. I love sleeping... but I have trouble sleeping. I can't take sleeping pills because they can make my days hell. I've tried taking medication for my depression and anxiety thats side affect is to put me to sleep but the same with sleeping pills they can make my days crap. I feel so drained instead of refreshed. With medication I can sleep anywhere from 12 hours to 15 hours. It's not good to sleep past 15 hours... you get cramps and soreness in every place rather then feel refreshed.
