Chesso 0 Report post Posted March 3, 2007 Regardless everyone has been throwing around 3 to 1, so I simply made an example, it doesn't mean I am saying that's exactly what it is, "EXAMPLE" whether loosely or tightly related to what is or isn't.

Awan1405241540 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2007 Don't be too seriuos guys...just intermezzo... I respect to Jesus but for the trinity I still argue....There's story that show how inappropriate the Trinity is to human logic. “It is said that three men converted to Christianity. The priest taught them the Christian faith especially the doctrine of Trinity. Once a friend of the priest came to see him. He asked the priest if he had properly taught them the basic of faith. The priest calls the converts to his presence and asked his friend to test their knowledge. He asked one of the converts about the Trinity. He answered that he had been taught that there are three gods. One is in heaven; another that was born of Mary and a third that descended on the second god in the form of a dove when he was 30 years old. The priest was angry with him and asked the second convert to answer the same question. He said that there were three gods. The Jews killed one of them so that there only two gods left. The priest admonished him on his ignorance and put the same question to the third convert. He was the most intelligent of the three. He answered that by the grace of the Lord he had learnt all that was taught to him. He said that: “One is three and three are one. One of them was crucified and because of their unity the other two also died. Now there is no God.”
Chesso 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2007 lol..... that's actually a good point......Are you saying that now there is none? or is that a little religious joke lol.
demolaynyc 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2007 (edited) Oh wow, well that is obviously a joke. Okay first of all, I don't think the guy who wrote that knows nothing about the crucification and the reason behind it. All the writer knows is that he was crucified because he testified that he was the Son of God and the Jews didn't believe him so they punished him. People say if Jesus was God then why didn't he save himself from crucifiction? It was because that He loved us so much that he gave his life so that through it we are saved. It is ONLY through this can we go to heaven. Jesus was not killed, he chose to die. He chose to die to give his life as sacrifice so that we may go to heaven. John 3:16 “One is three and three are one. One of them was crucified and because of their unity the other two also died. Now there is no God.”Isn't God invincible? He cannot be killed. Yes Jesus died but didn't he rise back up on the third day? We cannot base everything on human logic because God is not human! A human cannot be three in one, but who is to stay that stops God from being able to? We did not make God, he made US. Chesso 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2007 But then by our definition doesn't that make the sacrifice meaningless. He would be God and did not really die......
yuhuu 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2007 No, because he was God and man..He as a man, lived all what men live while they are tempted. But, He put all of His human sin tendencies under the control of the holy spirit...He lived to obey God, which made Him free from all temptation..And Jesus as a man, conquered all the temptations a man can face...That is why we all get inspired in Jesus. He did, and because He did, we can do it also..Cool.cheers..

demolaynyc 0 Report post Posted March 9, 2007 He is a man. But he wasn't just a man. He was God in human form. The Word in the flesh. This is why he seems to be a man, because he was one.
