Sure, I won't meet the people I've met, and discovered the things that I discovered.??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????However, I can spend my time on other things, and this is a big problem.... lots of people just get addicted to the internet.??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????There are so many "Make Money" on the internet scams that people fall into.... the internet is making it easier to communicate, and find information, but it's also easier to steal and do crime. I spend a little time on Xisto, but mostly I'm not the kind of person who mindlessly surfs the web. In any case, the internet's not going to mysteriously disappear, so, I don't have to worry.The internet does allow you to do a lot of nice stuff though. It makes it easier to communicate with people and find information, so it might be a bit harder to get work done without the internet. I would not be the fat slob that I am right now. I would also develop social skills because I would have to go out and make friends and hang out with them. Anyway, there was no interenet, like 20 years ago, my god, has it been that long already? Actually, i don't know when teh internet came out, do you? --i still remember it, though, being naked, huddled under the trees together to keep in body heat. Catching our food with our bare hands, tearing the flesh off the wild animals --Urm... maybe we were alittle more...civilised. But not much! But yesterday i was having no internet, i thought i was on hell! serious, nothing to do, so i go out.... (wasnt so bad) xD... I spend like 16-18 hours on pc sometime less.... normally 12 hours, but well at least im good on pc xD... Also internet isnt good for kids... I probaly would just become a tv addict and watch tv all the time, or get a job and work every chance I could and get some money, I love money. Laurie 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2007 My income does not depend on what I do with my time so I choose to spend it at my computer. I have a website with a blog that is hosted by Xisto. So not only do I spend time at my site but I also post here on the forums to keep my credits up. My site provides me with a place to keep track of my Works in Progress and my blog lets me share my thoughts with others. These are things that I probably would not be able to do as well without the Internet. I also pay a lot of my bills online, I have communication with others through my email, and I keep a photobucket. Now for what I would do without my connection to the computer. I really don't know. I have spent much time trying to define what to do with my life and the time and energy I have available. If internet was not available, what would you spend your time doing? What I do is I sometimes read a book but usually I just sit around bored or workout . Of course if my computer still turns on and I just don't have internet I play Empire Earth not online or work with Dreamweaver so when it does come back on I have something to do. If the weather is good outside I like to go for a run up my hill or go biking. If your REALLY bored I wonder around the house while talking to my friends on the phone. The first thing I do when it goes out though is to call up the internet provider and flame them until they send out a technition to help me and if they refuse to I figure it out myself.seez: EXACTLY!Casino: But what would you buy without the interwebs to tell you?!?!!?
