Watching Sex Scenes In Movies With Parents... How do you usually feel?

I used to get really embarrassed about that kinda thing when a movie I was watching with my mom had nudity in it.Now, I'm 16, and mature, and so it's just, whatever, you know? It's just a movie, and it doesn't really matter. Sex is sex. Same with swear words. Although, when me and my buddies watch a movie that has sex in it, we crack jokes here and there.My mom tries too hard be cool, so she usually makes really lame comments on stuff like that...it's kinda annoying, but I've learned to ignore my mom...she's weird.I remember though, when I was little, I was such a dork about that kind of stuff. I remember the first time I saw Ninja Scroll, I was like 10, and I was told to close my eyes for those parts, but I would still peek. =P

lol I remember that happening to me before I was so nervous I kept peaking at my parents and blushing because i didn't know how to react...Was I suppose to look at the screen?..Was I suppose to look away?..Or was I suppose to do a quick exit to the kitchen and come back like i wasn't paying attention to the movie?

i hate it one time i recorded the L-word at night because i wasnt at home so i wanted to see it in the morning and i turned it on.. then my bro and my dad who both just had woken up got downstairs and just sat with their sleepy eyes on the couch watching to lesbians make out that feels so weird to watch in their presence.. i just turned it off and waited until they were gone haha

I was so embaressed when I was growing up to watch a movie with a sex scene around my mom. It was to the point that I would leave the room when one came on. I literally felt nauseated watching them with her. What worried me is that she may turn and ask me whatI was and was not doing. And no matter what I did not what to answer those types of questions. I am older now so I rarely watch TV with my mom but I can site and watch the sex scenes now with my mom and not get nervous.

Meh, it used to be very very..very awkward, and most of the time if I was in the room my mom would change the channel, or fast forward, or whatever.Now, I'm 14, a hormone crazed teenager, and she knows that as do I(...) so, its less awkward, and normaly she doesn't change/fast forward, unless my gramma is in the room.Although, she will make jokes every now and then, which I find very disturbing.

I like to watch movies with my mom, and the usual movies tend to have sex scenes. I feel really uncomfortable, I feel the need to look away and I usually blush when she looks at me. When I'm watching those types of movies at my dads house I pretend to talk to my sister while those scenes are going on. Even a kissing scene makes me unconfortabe with both of them because they're always making comments about the way they kiss and how 'I wished it was me'.

when thos kind of scenes come up my mom will stare at me until its over so i just look at the screen and act cool like its nothing, when the scene is over she'll still stare at me but she never says anything. i think its better when someone says something rather than the arkward silence.

May I ask then, why you all watch them? May I also ask as to how it really helps you in your daily lives. If a three year old can't watch it, than neither should adults. I don't know, I just think it is wrong to watch someone else being intimate. These days, sex sells. And many campanies use it against the moral teachings of America and many other countries. It makes money. So I can say that I would not be embarassed to watch TV with my parents because I know that what I watch, is clean!

It's pretty uncomfortable when you're sitting with your kid watching a sex scene, and I'm fairly liberal minded ....

 

but it's worse when sitting with my parents and it's something a bit raunchy .... you all just sit there, paralysed with embarrassement ....

hahaha that is just gross to be watching with your parents.when i watch something with kissing scenes with my parents i turn around and not watch that part, since if i do, my dad will say, "you like that dont you?" ^.- heheheehbut whenever i watch something, with my parents and something 'sexual' comes on, i go to my room =D hehehe

Ugh... Sex scenes are the most awkward thing EVER. Even now, any sexual jokes or even just kissing and my mummy gives me a whole speech (sex talk--i'm all grown up, wtf?) or just sits and stares at me until it's over. Awful, just awful.

That?s why you should never watch a movie with you parents lol. maybe PG movies. I don't even watch pg-13 movies with my parents. It just aint interesting when your embarrassed.

Most of the time I feel indifferent about it. My dad would be like "lol"Though watching sex scenes do give me good ideas for dynamic poses and anatomy study for drawing neat stuff. However, I watch porn and hentai for that. Hopefully I won't have to once I can afford a Life Drawing class!

I would be absolutely embarressed. Infact I almost got caught watching a show on Playboy tv once. I have a digital cable box where I can watch shows on PLAYBOY tv and other stuff I can also order pay-per-views. And I had just gone out with my mom for a few hours just to see each other. And I had forgot to turn off my box and before I went out with my mom I had been watching my PLAYBOY channel. And when we got back I turned on my tv and she got a quick glimpse of something that I did not want her to see. But it was too late she saw it and I was totally embarressed and she was upset with me and I told her I was so sorry and promised if I have over I make sure my digital cable box is off so that she doesn't see what I usually watch. Or make sure the box is on a completely different channel so she never has to see the PLAYBOY channel again.And also a few months ago we watched "TROY" with Brad Pitt in it and of course there is a quick glimpse of a womans naked butt. But I think because it was a movie she didn't react at all I think she's more bothered by PLAYBOY stuff and certain stuff that would be seen in the movies. At least in the movies they don't show as much. So I think I would be embarressed to show her PLAYBOY stuff on tv. But I wouldn't be to, to embarressed if we saw a movie like TROY.
