Hi Everyone,

I am new to this board. Lots of great discussions on here. I just built my new website. It's a free forum hosting site. If you can give me a review that would be great. Let me know if the fonts go with the design etc...

Your website is great. But i think if subdomain is yourname.boardster.net is better than boardster.net/yourname. I will try it.

I think you should but the link to your forum in the top.Make it more of a community forum rather then a support forum. That way you get loads more customers.

Hi.I had a look at your site .. It is simple and elegant. So, pretty happy with what you have got there. The font size also looks nice and big without the need for nasty scrollbars on the homepage. And the icon you have used there makes the site look more attractive,.Good work, man !!!!

At first glance, your site has an instant Web 2.0 feel to it, with smooth gradients and curves. Everything is simplistic and compact. However, the one thing that should be changed is the color of headers, from the bright yellow to something easier on the eyes.

jay... Don't change the fonts!!!
They really are excellent and go superbly with the theme.

The entire thing is nice and bright!

And michelper; I'm sorry, but I disagree about the yellow in there. I reckon it goes really nicely. Just my opinion... but withought it the page would look too blue!

As has been said already it looks so slick with the nice rounded edges and 2.0 look

Regarding web validation;
My firefox page validator shows no doctype declaration and it would also like alt text for the image tags. It is fine to add

alt=""

to them, to prevent the alternate text appearing on mouseover!

Also... it shows you forgot to close the

<ul>

that begins on line 55 and probably should end before the div on line 155!!

Thats about it regarding the code stuff... I may be wrong on both counts! just suggestions

your site looks really good and elegant and yes it has the web 2.0 thing in it, is this readily available in phpbb or is it custom created by you ,i like the way the design of the site was made,the fonts seem to be a bit big in create forum page but itd ok overall it looks good and is betterly moulded with the entire design ,byt the way just a note that if you are using phpbb make sure you make it as secure as possible there are some ways available on net that will teach you how to protect your forums from s

I think the template's kind of plain. Try making the yellow navbar at the top shorter in height and make the text smaller. Other than that, it's a pretty good site.
