Inbox.com Or Gmail? what is the best and why? Is there something better?

Recommended Posts

Well, I've always prefered Instant Messages to E-mail. I simply never liked email. Because it was always slow, no matter how fast your internet connection is. Log-ins, etc.But then again, I've always used Yahoo! Mail, with their web browser version.Anyway, since when I've started using gmail, I've started liking emails as well. It's a consistent email service. No huss, no fuss. Works for you all the time. And you can use softwares like ThunderBird or Opera Mail to access it right from your desktop. Yay for gmail.

Take Gmail all the way. A friend of mine has had gmaikl for over two years now, and he said it's the best thing he ever got. Gmail has it's own chat system, unlimited inbox storage, and many many features, including starring important messages and archiving messages that you don't want to delete, but want out of the way at the same time, and.... It's just amazing. Truly amazing. Google made a great thing in Gmail, and I've heard nothing but good things about it, so.... :XD: :):D

friends i would suggest that Gmail is the best , i can just put before you all about gmail, Gmail has a great spam blocker. I have never had junk mail come in to my inbox. Way better than hotmail and yahoo which get junk mail all the time. this includes protection from porno junk mail and other bad things kids shouldn't be seeing.Gmail also gives you 2GB of memory when you register. Hotmail and yahoo don't, well not immediately; you have to use the account for a while to get the same memory gmail gives you already. great for storing large school projects or other forms of media.Better organization. Instead of a lot of "re: subject" emails form the same person, gmail organizes it all into on message, and you can see the entire history within it, so no more searching through endless amounts of replies, it'll all be in one place. good for organization and time management. Therefore Choose Gmail.

hey my choice is always gmail ,. google has captured the marrket in a huge way. i perper gmail becoz i can access eveything on a single wingle window rather than switching and accessing different products on diff window. now gmail has the flexilibity tat i need not change or open new windows,.its all bundled in one. also gmail started the revolution by offering 1gb space , so even though inbox.com offer much space,i still prefer gmail.long live google. long live gmail.cheer.s

Well, I prefer Gmail. It has many functions and capabilities, and it has a nice GUI. You can choose from HTML to FLASH to JAVA, which allows you to maximize your potential. It can also help you organize, and with all that space, you can save tons of emails. Thats not only it, you get much more. 2.9 gigs mean possibilities, and you can explore the world of GMAIL! (sounds like an ad but I typed this myself lol)

the best feature of gmail is that username+something@gmail.com is the same email address as username@gmail.comi.e. an email address like qwerty12+mailinglist@gmail.com is the same as qwerty12@gmail.com So you could give qwerty12+mailinglist@gmail.com when you sign up for some particular mailing list and setup your gmail account to either lable/archieve/forward/delete all mails sent to qwerty12+mailinglist@gmail.comA better and more practical example that I use is:My actual email ID is myusername@gmail.com But I've given myusername+orkut@gmail.com to ORKUT. People must know just how many emails orkut can generate in a day! I've got a filer that directly archieves all mails from myusername+orkut@gmail.com Therefore my inbox remains clean.Don't know whether other mailing services give that kind of flexibility!
