Which Proxy Sites Can Be Used To Access The Websites?

I am not the averge every day computer person I have over 5 years of experence with website security and I know for a fact by the end of the year most proxy site will no longer be of any good to you guys do to the simple and plan fact that all the new firewalls learn from thing that you do like Barracude for example when you to a proxy you get one shot to use it then after that it knows what it is and atomaticly blocks it. So keep to get passed us we will eventually catch up with you and get you in the act so have fun well it lastest.!! oh thanks for helping us admins block you that much better!

Lightspeed Systems

Which Proxy Sites Can Be Used To Access The Websites?

Ugh. My school has Lightspeed systems internet filter. Like 99% of all proxies seem to be blocked. I was using an Info site that worked for a few weeks, Agnus.Info . It would allow you to go to ANY site in the web, but the only problem was you could'nt log onto anything... So myspace or vampirefreaks was pointless to go to. It was better for actually looking more at info blogs, or finding pictures, or some other little things... I've been in NEED of finding some nintendo sprites for games, and the such, and the place I was using, not blocked before, has been blocked... Funny thing... There was no forums or anything on the site, no blogs, just upload your sprites, download some others, and be on your merry way. Guess what the website was blocked for? Forums... It was Forum-clean!! that's bull****. Anyways, I hope someone can find me a solution to this problem... It's really killing me. I need the sprites for my next project in Computer Animations class, and I cant work without them. (yes, I can draw, but I like using sprites. It's a lot more fun.)

You can try http://ww2.libertybell.biz/?folio=9PO6Z3MVF&_glst=2&rfolio=9POTGAVR6 that might work. Its like Proxify and vtunnel or other such sites using the SSL. So it makes it a pain to block. Usually has to be done manually by a system admin while havin a coffee. Some might be lazy and not even bother.  /txtmngr/images/smileys/smiley14.gif

Response to JoeWhich Proxy Sites Can Be Used To Access The Websites?Joe is obviously a wanna-be security professional. He believes, or deludes himself into believing what he says: That his company's firewall is bulletproof.I have news for him and all of you. Hackers, the real ones, laugh at your pitiful attempts to create invulnerable systems. I'm sorry, but the real expertise is on our side, and not your's! Lightspeed, Barracuda, and all the others are companies of 100 people versus hundreds of thousands of hackers, and we will ALWAYS have the upper hand.So don't get scared by his morphing firewall talk. Yes, they have FINALLY started to catch up. They are now only about 3 years behind us. But fear not, there will always be a way around it. That's just the nature of security. And a parting shot - Joe's talented white-hat security professional friends may develop firewalls during the workday, but at night, they are black-hat hackers that fight them. I am, and 90% of the others are out there.-reply by gamma_hacker

A couple proxies i use..Which Proxy Sites Can Be Used To Access The Websites?

Ok at my high school, there was a proxy we used for looking up stuff that is blocked like games. One was http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ This had a username and password. A username is student the password is random1. This was used late 2008 to reeeaally early 2009 when it ot blocked at our school because everybody used it... Another thing before I continue, if at the top of your screen when you log in at school theres a whole bunch of number and stuff press alt f4 until it dissapears. You may have to do it like 50 times. ANOTHER THING YOU MUST DO! at the bottem right hand part of your computer screen there is an eye symble, right click and press close vnc. This is where they moniter your computer SO SHUT IT DOWN! Ok another websitethat I used until yesterdat march 1st 2009(because it got blocked >.<) is http://www.24tunnel.com/  Now when using 24tunnel , each time a screen pops up with a yes/no option. Press no each time.  I recomend when nusing these sites type in https://www.google.de/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=BwkjVKfAD8uH8QfckIGgCQ&gws_rd=ssl before searching for stuff.

Ok since you should know that I have a school comp... and all that stuff, but we have a super firewall, you guys have all the crappy proxies. Here are the good ones:
1) http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
2) http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ (chinese proxy, find the box, and type a URL, and click the other box... :) )

And I will post more when I figure it out, most of those are blocked @ my school.

simply use ultrasurf 9.5 ,,just download the application and access all the blocked traffic without any proxy site.

i am writing few line on ultrasurf here
UltraSurf is an enormously popular program used to circumvent Internet censorship in countries like China (as well as schools and workplaces in mostly-free countries like the US, with mixed success. When you run UltraSurf on your computer, it re-routes your outgoing Internet traffic to external IP addresses controlled by UltraSurf, so that it looks to observers (and network censors) as if you are connecting to UltraSurf's IP addresses, rather than a website like YouTube or Facebook that may be banned on your network.

UltraSurf uses a list of thousands of external IP addresses, to make it non-trivial for an adversary to locate all of their IP addresses and block them all. However, using a few steps that would be obvious to many programmers facing the same problem, I did find a way to detect all the IP addresses that UltraSurf connects to, and block all of them so that UltraSurf stopped working. It would not be hard for a government censor operating the filter in a country like China to do the same thing. But this does not mean that UltraSurf's network is likely to collapse any day now; on the contrary, it means that it and similar programs are likely to flourish for years to come, since the censors obviously have other priorities.

My university lately instaled a firewall that prevents us from accessing certain websites I heard there are some proxy websites that will enable us to circumvent this firewallcan you post some links of such websites? :):(

Notice from mayank:
Edited topic title & description

Noting, as stated before, schools block things for a reason.

Honestly though, they're pretty damn stupid about it. My school had wikipedia blocked at one point, and even now, when you click on a link to a wikipedia page, it's blocked, and you have to enter the direct url into the url bar. Annoying.

Well, I've used heaps during my time, although my school tends to block them.

List:

http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ (hosted by me on fateback.com)
http://realestatechinese.com.au/ (very fast PHProxy)
http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
https://www.hidemyass.com/

With the PHProxy, and also provy.info , make sure you untick "Remove client-side scripting (i.e JavaScript)" or a lot of stuff won't work.

Hope this helps ^^ (And I also hope these aren't blocked where you are...)

Haha, I love your proxy lists, but out schools are getting smarter. Now the accounts themselves are on "interactive Log_on", so that the whole account is on a proxy itself, that blocks every single site that isn't catergorised. Which is sad, because out of the 25 plus millions of websites out there, only a small portion of the websites aren't blocked, so educational or not, they are all blocked alike unless they are very popular... in which most aren't.And the most stupid thing is, Xisto is BLOCKED and Xisto isn't!!! Argh! Why can't it be the other way round! PTC sites aren't blocked, on the other hand, by my blog is, and so are other forums like mylot. The governement can be stupid sometimes. They blocked nearly every site when you search for "Flags of the World" for geography. Talk about educational. IT's more like hindering our education instead.
