wariorpk 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2005 Well if you are like me you like when people respect your stuff and most of the time people do. However, today was not a normal day. This neighbor kid (parents let him over he is a friend of my family's kid) desides to go on my computer without asking and surfs the web. This really gets me angry because first of all he respect my stuff enough to ask me, second of all most of the time this stuff happens when I am home but I was gone today, thirdly I had to make sure there were no viruses and stuff like that, and last I had to set passwords so this never happens again. Maby I have issues with people respecting my stuff I don't know but it still gets me mad !
biscuitrat 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2005 Well, all I'd have to say about this is the kid probably got permission from your parents to get online so he could use the computer. It doesn't seem like its that much to be angry over. What I'm upset about, however, is that my brothers love to destroy things of mine when I piss them off. They'll delete my characters on games, break my lego things, or just generally screw up my room. And they're in college. I don't understand that at all. Revolutionary. 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2005 I really dislike when my parents give someone else permission to use my things. If they had bought the game/computer/cell phone then it would've been fine. But I bought them with my own money and if anything happens to them it's going to be me paying for a new one.Example: You buy car. Your parents lend the car to a friend without asking. The car gets stolen/destroyed.I may be just paranoid but I can see this happening to almost everything I own.
biscuitrat 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2005 Haha, I'm extremely paranoid about some of my things - my writing for example. Sometimes, I put more effort into keeping my notebook safe when it rains than keeping myself dry. It's kind of amusing.

elevenmil 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2005 I am extremely angry when someone uses my stuff without asking, mainly because I have a bad past history with people using my belongings. And I get even more protective of my things when I'm at college with my roommates. They love to just go in my room and take/use whatever they want. Ugh, stuff like spyware and my PS2 items being damaged are just two examples from last year at school, and wow, what really got me...My roommate had friends over last year and while they were there they were throwing a football inside of the house...what do you know, they threw it right through a window. Thats enough to tick me off, but then they didn't pay for the damages, I ended up not getting a dime back from my security deposit because of that. One funny thing that I didn't care about was the one night we were having a party. Someone went into our bathroom and had the urge to steal our hot water shower knob........who does that???What friends my friends have I guess, but I guess we are all guilty of this sometimes... Frayed 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2005 I get extremely angry when someone goes on my computer aswell. It's usually my sister who goes on and she tends to snoop around. She knows I have an online blog and I save my password so I don't have to keep re-doing it and she always reads it. She has her own computer but she insists on going on my computer so she can go on cam for her friends.I always put a screensaver lock on my computer, but what makes me angry is that she restarts the computer just so she can get on. She has ruined many of my work that I do on the computer so she can go on. She doesn't allow me to go on her computer but if I don't allow her to go on my computer she'll tell what I have said in my blog. With my poems and drawings I have made, I have had to hide them on her because I wanted them to be for my eyes only. When she does find them she makes it her sole duty to show and read everyone what I have written or drawn. She is younger then me and yet she has more dirt on me that even tide can't make it come clean.
Becca 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2005 At least your mums don't go around and hide your stuff. Mine hides anything she sees she isn't pleased with. SHe even hid my laptop and put my TV in a cupboard and locked it.And plus my friends and school friends.. i mean ARGH.. Do you ever get those people who are like "Can Iborrow a pen" or "Can I borrow a rubber" etc etc.. And don't even look after it. In the end they end up losing the god dam thing and don't really care. If you going to borrow SOMEONE ELSE's stuff,. you could at least look after it and make sure you don't ,lose or break it. But as it isn't theirs.. they don't bother. THat's so selfish!Igot this boy coming around our home, he asked my mum weather he could go on MY computer which I BOUGHT.. and she was like yeah. Igot home from school one day and I saw him looking up porn. He told his mum he swear he werent he ssaid they were pop ups. like sure.. you must of at least done something dirty or illegal to get a porno popup.(he also stole my Harry Potter film and promised to sell it and giv eme the money. It's been about 4 years or something like that and I don't see any money...he just sold it and kept the cash.)
rvovk 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2005 Hehe, this must be something when coming home and you see a person on your computer and besides that he is watching porn. LOL and I don't like people that are untidy, I see toilets at work. Like some of people are pigs or something, they even can't take a brush to clean after themselves. That pisses me off. Or borrowing tools, after you give them something they usually forget where they got it and never put it back where it belongs.Just angry because of this lot of times. I am tidy person in general. Florisjuh 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2005 My parents dont really respect what I do on the computer and think everything I do on it should be to nake profit (like I should ask money for every site I make for friends and stuff...). When my little brother tried to print a coloring plate and delted all my firefox extentions, settings and favorites they didnt care either...
Danieluchis 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2005 oh god why don't you tell them that makes you mad? and how important is for you, i mean maybe the parents don't understand. my mom didn't understand either why i make web pages for pure "fun"until i explain her
Revolutionary. 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2005 Last year I lent my friend Kingdom Hearts, which at that time was my favorite game. After him delaying giving me back the game for about a month, I forced him. What I got back was the disk not running on any PS2 and the case covered with a coffee stain. A coffee stain. :DI've gotten it to run occasionaly but it's not consistant enough to play it yet(it'll be a year in October) and the stain has almost faded off, but it's the principal of him ruining something I had the kindness to let him borrow, intentionally or not.I guess I take my possessions too seriously. They just love to threaten me with destroying things in an older brotherly way. But I tolerate it because 1) I haven't played with legos in years, and 2) they buy excellent birthday gifts.
