Don't you mean a javascript dropdown menu? One where the user clicks the arrow and a list of options comes down for a user to select. I've never heard of one for php before so if I'm wrong please excuse me.

Here's the code

<select name="name"><option value="cars"> Cars </option><option value="books"> Books </option><option value="trains"> Trains </option></select>

It creates the same thing as is shown when you hit the reply button and you see FONT, SIZE and COLOR

Purely flash sites don't catch me as cross-browser compatible. Unless the site is well designed, I would avoid trying to do everything in flash. It can cause major navigation flaws. I co-moderate a bad webdesign community, so I've seen my share of flash gone wrong sites. But I recommend anything from "A List Apart". They have some great tutorials, especially for CSS.

Just wondering what you meant. The site i'm creating is for work. If your talking about my own site - round - i believe that flash is totally cross browser compatible. I mean all you have to do is download a plugin which is now included in all browsers. can't get anymore compatible than that.
