vitaitaliano 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2004 I'm in Victoria, British Columbia,Canada, a city of about 60,000 people. We are on an island, the second biggest island in the world, about an hour and a half ferry ride from the mainland. Even though we're Canadian, this island is closer to Seattle in the United States than it is to the rest of Canada. There is very little industry, and then only things like kayak builders and salmon farms.......it's mostly rainforest, full of cougars and bears and eagles, and whales offshore. I've never seen a more beautiful place, but I also miss big-city living like crazy {moved here 8 years ago from a city of 5 million people! } Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
