i agree to bureX, in the sence that Windows can be one of most secure systems but if used with precaution and some sense...people who are new to computers start with windows and because they are not aware of the fact that windows is fav. of hackers...and end up ruining there computers..and they finally start saying that windows is bad and is not secure..and if we think on the server level..it makes no diff. for a hacker or cracker...if they wish then they will be able to hack even Linux or Sun Solaris...because its there hobby or occupation whatever you consider....they have enough knowledge to hack anykind of operating system...after all it is all about having basics clear in the field of networking

i have got Nokia N-Gage..not N-Gage QD....i think N-Gage is the best phone the reason is that it has got almost everything...a music player(plays Mp3 as well), FM, phone , has got lot of games..everyone knows that it is one of the gaming consoles..and companies like EA SPORTS create games for this phone and the best thing i like about this phone is the way we have to speak with someone...it has to held vertically from sideways....there are lot features in it which i have to yet explore....i think this is the best phone ever made by NOKIA.

well TEMP folder is that folder which stores temporary files(as name explains) it never contains downloaded files...it contains only those files which are opened....it can be any file even a copied one. Also TEMP folder can contain a virus or spyware...you can safely delete all files in TEMP folder and then boot your computer in safe mode and then scan your computer for viruses and spyware.....make sure to update the definitions first. i think that will help you and you wont have to reformat as well. in order to boot in safe mode you will have to press F8 key continuously at the boot up time. and may i know are you loading spybot and other programs at startup..if you are then remove then and only use WINPATROL...that is really good software...light on memory and keeps track of all mailicious activities.

i've used wireless internet...i was using HP laptop ZD 7000 series and Linksys router....i dont remember the model of that....and service was absolutely brilliant...there are many standards like 802.11a 802.11b and 802.11gand i think the best one according to speed is 802.11b but i think go for 802.11g standard as it the latest one and is backward compatible as well....if you want to know more about it then you can PM or otherwise i'll posting more information about it in the same thread..for that if you want you can compile more questions of about what do you want to know and i'll be able to answer those.

well i dont know much about mac but i've a heard a great saying about MACINTOSH and that is Most Applications Crash If Not Operating System Hangs... well this is just for fun..... now serious mood :- i think people say all kind of bad stuff for Windows but i actually Love Windows and the reason for that is that it can be installed on an assembled computer but it is not possible in MAC's case and that is why it is more expensive...secondly there are not many applications for macintosh as you will find in Windows. Now the reason for Viruses, Spywares is that everyone knows that Windows is more popular and that's why these virus-makers target WINDOWS only and i think we must look at the brighter side of it and that is due to this the companies like Symantec, trend micro, mcaffee are existing and are one great source of employment so my vote goes for WINDOWS

well to be honest i have used almost all the antivirus programs and have used norton & mcaffee but sorry to say that both of these programs were not able to impress me at all.....i got impressed with TREND MICRO INTERNET SECURITY the most and i am a big fan of it...it's got great detection power and it removes most of the viruses as well....one thing more i would like to add here is that if we use computers wisely enough and use diff. softwares than we can't get infected from viruses at all...and for that any antivirus will do...even AVG free antivirus.

yeah i think the movie FF 4 is really cool...it has really great effects especially the one when the person turns into the fireman.....and i think most of the people know about the FF 4 as it was a really great cartoon and its been noticed that film makers are concentrating on the cartoon movies and making movies like these.......batman, spiderman, hulk and now FF 4....lets hope that we will be able to see TOM & JERRY soon

i will go for xbox 360 because it is much powerfull machine as compared to ps3 and also the graphics of xbox games are much better than of ps3...again its my personal opinion.

hey that's cool 700$ only for that kind of laptop i must say it was a steal deal....but depends on what was the weight of the laptop i think it must have been a bit heavy one.....i wish to have a tablet pc because they are small light and powerful... but i know buying a tablet pc is not a piece of cake..

i think there is no use of this trick....because then you'll need the admin rights to create any account like this...and secondly if you have admin rights then you you dont need this trick

i think these credit card details wont help anyone untill and unless someone is having CVV2 code which is the three digit code at the back of the credit card...or may be i am wrong there are so many people in this world and they have such a great knowledge that they might even find out that CVV2 code as well by having the credit card detail......and if this is the case then how can we make the internet more safe????

thankyou for the screenshots i was looking for the screenshots of this from long time...i use Internet Explorer to access the ftp but there are some friends of mine who need the screenshots of cuteftp...thanks again....but still according to me the simplest way of accessing the FTP is via IE. for IE....... 1. Type ftp://ftp.mysite.com/ in the address bar. 2. Give Username & Password 3. Use it as Windows Explorer; i.e. copy and paste the files.

well i was really sad to hear about the mumbai flood....one of my friend's flat is taken up by three families as the apartments 1st floor is completely drowned....now i think by this people can imagine the amount of water in mumbai....i've seen many videos as well where lot of cars and even SUV's were completely drowned...and streets, roads were completely jammed....my friend told me that they were getting food with the help of small boats!i wish the level of water goes down fast and mumbai comes back on track!

well i've used lot of ftp programs but according to me the best of them is Internet Explorer....it's easy to use and has all the features which you want with any other ftp program...the best part is that it works exactly the way..windows explorer works....just copy and paste and for new folder just right click and select new folder.i think you must try Interet Explorer....infact that's the only positive which i find in IE...otherwise the best browser is Firefox only!
