Well I think you are right It started happening after GMAIL came into the picture otherwise till that time we all used to get 2 MB or 10 MB now a days we are getting 1 GB from yahoo and 250 MB from hotmail....now after GMAIL it seems to me that yahoo and hotmail want people to stay with them but popularity of GMAIL is not allowing them to do so...so they thought of coming up with better interface....I am happy with HOTMAIL's interface and it functionalities and YAHOO's new interface is also looking promising..but I wanted to join the beta testers thing..but saw that it is only available for those people who are using @yahoo.com address not for others. One thing is for sure that GMAIL's interface is nice and simple but it lacks lot of functionalities for e.g. Calendar, Notes, Address book's advanced features like export, mailing list........I think these are some of the features which GMAIL will have to bring in fast..so as to stay at the no. 1 position of the email service providers.

Hey jim!This page looks good! But there is a problem when I am looking at the page in Firefox....it is not looking good..I mean it becomes distorted...but in IE this page looks absolutly fine..and looks great as well.It has a great color and nice and simple navigation! and I dont think that there is anything else which can be done to make this look good because it already looks very good. May I know are you using any HTML EDITOR...i.e. wysiwyg editor..for e.g. dreamweaver or frontpage.....because it is compatigle with IE but not firefox and these days FIREFOX is coming up more..so try to fix it up.

Well I think you got it wrong...it is not about 3000 hosting credits or infact any hosting credit....it is about points in FORUM SHOP...and they increase when you post....it is nothing to do with your hosting credits.

I have tried this software on my N-Gage(not N-Gage QD) earlier but I started facing a problem of loosing the battery power quicly....when I uninstalled it...it was fine again...so guess what was my decission....Not to install this software again :PI know it makes the N-gage sofware looks much better but I am happy with the default looks as well.

Yeah I think this will be a nice idea of having a shop like....and which will allow people to not only have these kind of benefits some fun kind of stuff as well....like allowing people to change their member level to something else...or lot other stuff....may be other members will be able to give some more suggestions to the fun stuff which can be added.

Well I'm Getting confused between two sigs!Mike's and Samma's sigs....both of them are great sigs but I think this time.....i'll vote for Mike the reason for that is that it has a great effect around the render....background is also good and the window thingy on the left is also good.....well Samma you sig is also great...I like the background, the text and the globe kind of thing....beleive me it was too close....one thing is for sure you all are great designers

Well I use Internet Explorer to access FTP as it is one of the simplest FTP softwares available and that is the only place where I use Ineternet explorer and as others have also mentioned that they use Net2Ftp for accessing the ftp when they are away from home..Cpanel browser upload is also good but it not that advance as Net2Ftp.

Well Opera is a good software...It is one the fastest browser availabe these days..the reason behind it is that it has got a fantastic cache handeling technology..far better than Internet Explorer and Firefox...but there are downsides of it and one of them is that it doesnt support all the websites..and you have to use either IE or Firefox...now this is the case with Firefox as well...but then these days Firefox is the hottest browser available and because of which most of the developers are making extension and infact taking part in the development of this browser...I personally use Firefox and find it as a best browser.So, if you dont surf much and dont need extensions then go for Opera otherwise go for Firefox...I wont suggest you IE, the reason being that it is house of spywares...and everyone knows that because IE is the most used browser so crackers develop spywares targetting IE users, so as to bring maximum damage which is their main target.

well It seems to me that opaque is not very happy with Indian Govt. at all!Anyways I am! and Cse-icons buddy I always knew that you are from India as you have selected your location as India....now I never compared these two cities...it was compared by some guy....I dont know him at all!and secondly it was just to have little fun! Did you click on my sig? well I think that donating to red-cross, CRY or any other charity is good the reason being they actually work for the welfare of diff. people...it's not that these people are working for the profit...these are non-profit making organizations...they just take normal salary and work all day hard to help people. I know one person who work for CRY and I see myself how much effort they put in to help the poor childern and help them to study and give them food and other essential things which are required to lead a simple life. So dont think this way that they dont work and dont use the money you donate...it is used properly and benefits lots of people

well this is simply cool!such a small size...I want to buy one but(I dont know why is this but with me only) it is not released in India yet!Although they are putting it's AD on the Indian version website which is http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Still when I went to store I was not able to find the IPOD NANO over there.also what I think is that in few year to come infact few months to come people will stop buying IPOD'S the reason being these days the way mobile phones are coming up with huge memories and there ability to play the diff. format, I am sure people will prefer to purchase a phone which plays MP3, clicks photos and can be used as a phone as well. well the correct way of installing the fonts is : 1. go to control panel 2. open fonts folder 3. goto File->Install 4. locate and select the font files you want to install 5. click Install Voila! fonts are installed in your machine.

It seems to me that you are stressing more on 1 GB he he he!well, what I think that 150 MB is enough for any website because these days there are lot of websites which can host your images and mostly the space is consumed by images only! and if you are talking about forums then having such a big forum is very difficult untill and unless you have something speacial in your forums and if you are talking about bandwidth...then try to finish up 5 GB bandwidth first and then look for 1 GB extra And if you want to know more about what exactly I mean then please do read this topic which was posted by the OpaQue (founder of Xisto) http://forums.xisto.com/topic/356-unlimited-free-space-and-bandwidth/
