Well I've been in Netgear's techincal support and I find them that they are absolutely great! go for a good netgear router and they perform really well...they give you good options and work really great....infact the people used to praise a lot that they purchased the netgear and are getting good support with it...so my suggestion is go for the netgear router.

Well I've also voted for the second one....the only reason behind that was that it looks brighter.as far as the whole sig is concerned i'll say nice job with brushing..great choice of the Font and the render...i'll say is not the best..somehow I didnt like it much...I dont know why but not my choice.I'll say 8/10

New Siggy I actually like this one myself
mayank replied to Moody's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Hey moody! that is awesome work buddy!I'll say that you have used better brushes...nice color and very good render...the background looks awesome and the text is also nice but a diff. color on text would have been better. This time you have placed border as well and seems to me a very good sig...9/10 is the rating which i can give you...and as it is your second attempt i'll say 10/10 -
My Very First Signature i know its ugly, but please comment
mayank replied to Moody's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Ok moody so finally you have also joined this SIG MANIA! dont worry I also became part of it earlier :ph34r:Ok you've made a sig and as it is your first ever sig...I'll say that it is not at all a bad attempt. There are few things which you can do...1. Read Johnny's tutorials which will explain you how you can start making sigs..atleast they give you a very nice start2. Use better brushes.3. Bring better Fonts..I know I am bad in text but still giving you a suggestion on it :(4. Use a border. In short I'll stress that read through Johnny's Tuts and I am sure you'll be having a siggy of your just like your current siggy in a short time. -
Some Of My Very Many Signatures :D
mayank replied to Hitashi's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
ah! they all really really nice....but then it would have been better if instead of posting links you would have posted them as image.....what do you say hitashi and yes welcome to the forums as well...I am sure you'll love it as we all do -
Ok what I have to say about this is...please read the post thoroughly...see what Avalon, me, Opaque and other members have to say about it (http://forums.xisto.com/topic/27748-earning-hosting-credits-is-easy-dont-be-fooled-by-the-naysayers/). Make sure you read it completely and you'll learn that it's not about making less posts...its about making lengthy and quality posts...if you're post will be having good content like the one you have posted just above...you'll be earning good credits and say if you make a post which will fetch you say 1.5 credits and like this you make say...5 posts in a day..which is possible in less than 1 hr. then you'll be able to have 7.5 credits and this way your hosting will be active for 6 days and that too for a small effort of less than an hr. So be happy in what you are getting...and start to love this community and you'll be having more credits and will find that keeping you site up for months and that too without being posting will be simple Notice from KuBi: Edit as per requested.

Gift For Jlhaslip~mayank for being a great friend
mayank replied to mayank's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Thanks for that buddy!well as far as anything where I will need your help is just to learn anything from your experience in life! :ph34r:That's all what a person looks from friends...their love and care.and as far as being a moderator is concerned..I'm sure the staff over here is good enough to handle most of the things in the forum and even if they will feel that they need more moderators I'm sure that they'll choose the best person who will take care of most of the problem and knows more about the forums....I'm still new and there are people who deserve to be moderator and are older than me infact 1 year old...I know that most of the people know that of which person I'm talking about :DThank you for caring and take care. -
Using Voip with VOIP, will we still need landlines?
mayank replied to nobilius's topic in Science and Technology
well VoIP is a great technology and these days the voice quality has improved a lot....I work in Technical support and the voice quality is no problem at all...it sounds like a normal telephone i.e. PSTN.I am sure that it will emerge much more and soon there will be phone which will be running on this technology and giving us much cheap rates or may be the google way..FREE -
Ok I know this an addictive game...I've played it many times and once I've achieved 1200 score...but today i was able to get passed 900 only...I am putting a screenshot....I think everyone must do that.

Earning Hosting Credits Is Easy! Dont be fooled by the naysayers.
mayank replied to Avalon's topic in General Discussion
Well I think this post is helpful for not only members but where it is placed is also nice because it is placed in the guests section and this way the guests will be able to make a decision about wheather to join or not...now the question of not joining will become less after they'll read this post and will understand that being active in forums is not difficult and earning credits is much easier....I think this was the intention of Avalon..am i right? -
Well I have a mixed review for this sig samma!here is my review :I can't comment on render...because it is very hard to see (as mentioned by other members as well...so you know what exactly I mean with this statement ).Brushing is really nice...and is giving depth to the sig.Text is very nice...i.e. I loved the font you used and the way you have made it a tech sig..is also nice...however brushing made it a bit hard to read....but still that is nice.If I remember correctly then Avalon once mentioned about background and brushing that the sig makers here tend to over brush to make a detailed background but nice techniques and less brushing can also make a detailed background...for e.g. Avalon's current sig.And yes the best part about the SIG is the MULTICOLORED portion...which makes it look good.My rating for this sig will be 7.5/10 only because of render and a bit of over brushing...nice work in other deptt.

Earning Hosting Credits Is Easy! Dont be fooled by the naysayers.
mayank replied to Avalon's topic in General Discussion
I agree to you Avalon in this case...it is all about making some good posts which have good and decent content in it...I have enough credits with me to keep my website up for more than 2 months....now keeping in mind that I've spend 40 credits for the activation of first plan and then 30 credits for the another plan and if you look at the number of posts i've made you'll find out that it is very easy to maintain the credits and the website. What my suggestion is for the one-liners is that...it's not about having more posts..it is about having posts which have good amount of usefull content. there are members who have almost equal no. of posts as I am having....they have been posting regularly as well but still their hosting credits are very very less...as explained by them only...so keep in mind...good quality posts having quality content will fetch you good credits. -
Now you are trying to ask a question which becomes unanswerable...the reason is you have not told anything about your computer...wheather are you using windows, linux...and even if you are using windows which one...98, me xp?? Another thing..are you using USB to connect or any other media to connect you camera...if you can provide some information about you camera as well for e.g. the model then it will be helpfull as well.I hope you got my point that we need more information to help you fixing up the problem.

Firewalls are good softwares and make your computer more safe and secure from various internet attacks but they can be pain as well for beginners...because firewalls they stop applications to gain internet access depending upon wheather have you allowed that application or denied the internet access. I am in HP's Technical support and we hear lot of problems of the customer saying that they are getting PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED...after doing most of the troubleshooting we find out that it was the firewall which was creating the problem and these days whenever a customer says that he is facing problem of not getting the webpages, email or infact in any network activity my first question is "do you have firewall?" and beleive me most of the time...they have one and problem gets resolved once we disable the firewall.....so basically what I want to say is that its good to have firewalls but knowing their working is equally important.

Use Gimp..just like me...Free as air and gives almost same results as you get in Photoshop...all the sigs made by me till this time are all done in GIMP only. I know I know that they are not the best and it is not the fault of the GIMP its my fault that I dont know much about graphics designing and even dont know how to use GIMP perfectly.you can get it from https://www.gimp.org/

Website I Made For School for office furniture
mayank replied to wassie's topic in Websites and Web Designing
looks nice....I like that sky like thing on the top a lot!well you have told us that it is related to furniture but what I think after looking at the template is that it is related to "nature" more than "furniture", I dont see anything related to furniture except that chair on the side...so may be this is my feedback for this website....try to make a website which has a wood like border.I hope this helps you.
