I respect all religions. But what I want to know is, do you have evidence to back a claim with your religion, that Ghosts are or are not real. I don't shove my religion down anyone. But I do expect people, if they are going to debate, to explain why there religion does or does not believe in something and give evidence to back it. Here, in a debating world, religious beliefs are obsolete except for the fact they provide some of your evidence. But what you should have, is evidence either from your religion, or from somewhere else. I really can't stand arguing. All you are talking about is beliefs. I believe you should be providing more evidence. I have backed myself with more than enough evidence, half of which you haven't even attempted to tear down or give proof against. Maybe you should go back to the 20 some posts I have done on this subject and look over my evidence more carefully. But please either give more of your own. It becomes mighty tedious for me if I am doing all the explaning.

Thanks for agreeing. But if it is possible, can you find evidence or scripture to support it? The main reason for this debate is because I find many people these days saying that their loved ones are in heaven watching over them. The plain fact is, that there is no life after death. So, I am voicing my concern.

But you don't understand. God planted the tree to give stan a chance to prove he was right. If you read the Bible, the was a war in heaven. Stan, who started it, was kicked out because iniquity was found in his heart. He said that God was unfair. So pretty much, God said, "Okay lucifer, I will give you a chance, it will be your only chance. Here is how it works. There is this people I want to create, they will be perfect. Why do I want to create them. Because they will be like me. In the image of their God. You are not to touch the rest of the universe. Only this people. But remember, in the end, I will judge according to what you have done, and who followed you." So, satan got his chance to prove that God was unfair, and maybe even take God's place. So God planted a tree. The people had their choice, they could follow a loving God, or follow a vain satan. Now here is why God planted the tree, why it seems so unfair to people, and why we pay the price and can't live with God. In order to let satan have his way and prove that he was fair, he needed a tool. That was the tree. Now people think it is unfair that God did this because now we payed the price. But listen. When you sin, did the devil make you do it? No. What about God? No. God had to prove He was fair and He is doing so. Instead of letting us walk around like mindless robots, He gave us the power of choice. Adam and Eve chose to eat the fruit. The reason we can't be free of the punishment is simple. God is perfect. When lucifer was thrown out of heaven, it was because he had sin in his heart. When a baby is born, it has the dna similar to that of it's mother and father. So do we. Adam and Eve. That means, that in heaven, we would actually bring sin there. Another thing, it seems unfair that God made us that way, but He gave a us a choice. He could not intervene. He did try to turn Israel back to Him multiple times, but in the end, He just let them go. Same for us. The balance of eternal life hangs on the scale. Satan says follow him, God satnds and bids people to come to Him. In the end, God will when. There is no way, God can be proven unjust. Satan and his followers will get there reward, and the elect and fathful followers will get theirs. Never again after that, will there be any sin.

But where did the Asteriods come from. If they came from planets, then where did they come from. You call creationism irrational, but you fail to realize that creationism gives more answers than evolution. Now, what I want to know is. If the world came from a big bang, where did the bag bang start. Where did the bacteria come from? Where, where, where? Now, Christians believe that in the garden of eden, there was no meat eating. Not until after the flood. Also, more evidence. How did the dinosaurs die, but not the other animals that were smaller? Evolution fails to come up with any answers except for hardy creatures. But creationists have the perfect answer. Before the flood, Noah was instructed by God to build an ark. The ark carried two of every animal. But dinosaurs, because of their size, could not go. Instead, lizards and reptiles took their place. This is where the dinosaurs die off. It actually makes a lot of sense. And, there is a problem dating with carbon. It is only acurate to 5000-6000 years. This has been proven with known substances. I am also wondering, are you a Christian. You say you are not an atheist. But a Christian should not believe in evolution. And actually, science does not contradict the bible. Why? Because there is no science for evolution. Remember, it is only a theory and cannot be proven as a fact.

As for dinosaurs, you can't go by that. The bible says nothing about many other creatures as well. It does not mention about the stick inescts. But does that mean it is false? No. Dinosaurs fall under lizards in the bible. So that argument is totally irrevelent. Now, I don't know what creation scientist websites you were at, but I will admit, there are some mixed up people out there. Now, I don't know if T-rex's were vegi or not, but there is no way to know. Now, you said not to use two unlike things. But may I make a point as to say that there is absolutely nothing alike between a asteroid or bang, and a human. So really, I could make the point that your belief is irrational. But I do that yet. And again, how to you even get a human with a mind, out of a bang. Because you see, you have given me no REAL evidence that evolution is correct. It is far easier to believe in a loving God that made us. And He is not bored. I also believe that He made other life on other planets. But chances are, we will never find them. And no, I don't believe in UFO's. Um, it just depends. I am always up by 7:40. I average 7:30. But sometimes I am up at 7:00am. I have chickens and I like to let them out early. But again Biscuit, you are forgetting that when we were merely "primates", we did not have the knowledge of right and wrong, what I want to know, is why evolutionists think that we came from a speck, when they don't know where that speck came from. Let me ask you something. Take your watch, set on the table, and watch it for an hour or so. Has it changed into a coffee maker? Why not? If you left it there for a million years, would it be a coffee maker. Do you believe it will be a coffee maker at some point? Any evolutionist in his/her right mind would say no. This is the point I am trying to make. You refuse to believe that a watch can turn into a coffee maker, or a radio into a computer. I can give you all this "Scientific" evidence that would suggest that it would be a computer in a million years, but you still would not accept it. Is a computer more complex than a radio? Yes. Is a human more complex than a one celled organism? Yes. Now let me ask you this. Is a Human more complex than a computer. The answer is still yes. No let me ask you this. You will not believe that a watch will turn into a coffee maker, or that a radio will turn into a computer. Things that are amazingly simple compared to a human, but you will still believe that we came, from nothing. I am not trying to be mean, but the problem here, is that too many people are believing that we came from something that did not exist. No I am serious. You believe we came from nothing. Okay Biscuit, lets turn the tables. Please explain to me why humans were devoloped with a natural sense of right and wrong, and no other animals have it. When we do something wrong, we know we have done it. No other animals does. A ability to know right and wrong is not learned. Scientists agree. It is a "pre-programed" ability. But Biscuit, you fail to realize that the subject we have now jumped to, is needed to clarify things. I think I have given good evidence that Jesus is in fact Michael. If there are any more objections, then fine, otherwise, let us carry on with the normal debate. You guys are bringing up good points that we are the cause of our evil nature. But it DID originate somewhere and that is what the debate is about. The debate here is to help people realize that God's name is cleared from the list and that He is fair. He always will be fair. And further more, He cannot be proven unfair. As a Christian, we know that God is a loving God. He gives us the freedom of choice. Again. Okay, here is some evidence. You said that He will defeat Persia in His future. You said "Our Past". Persia overtooking babylon during the book of Daniel. If you remember, in Revelation, one of the three angels says, babylon has fallen has fallen. Babylon, in prophecy, is a end time power, not literal. Daniel is prophecy. The Dragon, is the devil, in prophecy. The Dragon (satan) in prophecy, is the king of the coity of babylon. Remember this is not literal. Babylon represents the wicked power and people. When "Michael" defeats the King, He is defeating the devil. When you add it all up, Daniel is actually talking about our FUTURE. Prophecy. When Babylon has fallen, satan will be defeated by Michael, (Jesus). So I believe I have actually provided the actual evidence to help prove my theory. Now, it is your turn to provide evidence that backs your theory. And remember that Jesus' other names are actually not irrelevent, because they provide the vital piece of evidence that Jesus is refered to with several different names in the bible. Can you then, explain to me, why Jesus is also called, the Prince of Peace, The Jucdge, The annointed one, The Chosen, and many others too numerous to name. In the bible, if you remember, Jesus is in the Trinity. You also said that before and after Jesus' life, there was a person called Michael. It could be that this is another name for Jesus, used BEFORE and AFTER His life on earth. So you may have actually provided the evidence. Besides God has always existed, His Son did too.

Ah, very good. But one problem. The Thess verse, it is talking about the second coming of Christ. When we will be taken up and meet Him, and the lost will stay down here on earth. The dead, most of which probably died for their faith, will get the priviledge of being with Christ first, then we will get caught up into the clouds with Him.The Matthew verses are also good. But let me show you something about them.Matt 24:40-41 This verse talks about two people, one getting taken, the other left. Does it say anywhere about them disappearing? No. One will be taken (saved), The other left (lost). See, sometimes it sounds confusing. I am against interpreting scripture, but sometimes, I find it absolutely impossible not to, if we are to understand it. And Matt 25:31-46 only strengthens the fact that Jesus is talking about the seperation of good and bad, "Upon His return". By cross reference, we see that one supports the other and they both support the fact that there is no literal rapture. But thanks for your two cents worth.

I don't know about you guys. But I had a horrible experience with Liquid H. I had just gotten hosted after 150 posts and they canceled their service. Never have I seen such a bad service. No notice or anything. I found their hosting to be great. Like this one. Just a little more space. I loved it and thought it was great. I feel bad for anyone else that lost their hosting there.

One person said how can Jesus win a war in heaven when He was not born. The simple answer. He was born. If you read in the bible, it says that Michael and His angels fought angainst the devil. Michael is another name for Jesus. So I think some of you are a little mixed up. Wakelim:You have a good point, humans do cause a little bit of the suffering around us, but the problem lies deeper when people say that God could say, "No more suffering" and wipe sin off the face of the earth. Sin cannot be gone if God is to be proven just. It plays into a bigger picture that a lot of people have a hard time seeing. When Satan was thrown out of heaven, God's first just act was that He let satan live to give him a chance to prove his point. And as satan does, he shows that he cannot be fair or just. Now, have you ever thought that since God LETS the calamities around us happen, that God is unfair. I mean, it is like punishing us for our existence. What do you think? But remember, it was adam and eve that first sinned in the garden. It was the human race that caused the first sin. Even when God warned them not to they still had to take that bite. Some say that God is unfair by letting the temptation into the Garden of Eden. But again, God proved Himself fair. Here is why. Satan said that God is unfair. God could have taken away the temptation, but with it, our freedom would have gone too. You see, God, in all His love, gave us the freedom of choice. Which again shows His love and justice. Had He taken away that choice, we would be no more than pawns, doing His bidding. And with that, God is fair. There is no way to prove Him unfair, and in the end, the universe will know His justice.

Does anybody know? I do. Many people are led astray because they don't understand that it is not God who causes the pain of this world, but satan. They also believe that God let satan take control. So here is where God gives satan a chance to prove that before the whole universe. After creation Adam disobeyed God and ate a fruit that was not allowed to be eaten. I believe this tree was put there as a test. Adam ate after temptation from eve and satan, who had origanally tempted eve. Stan caused the first pain and suffering. Now God could strike satan down, but satan would then make good on his claim that God is unfair to him. So he lets him continue his evil deeds. At the end of time, when we are taken to heaven, ALL will know who is fair. Any arguments?

biscuitrat, it says in the bible we ought to obey God, rather than men. If you go by the bible, what can go wrong. After all, people often think up "ideas". That doesn't make them right. If the bible says something that goes against what people say, like now, than we should go to the bible and stick with that. As I always say, the bible is our sole authority here on earth.

I see I chose a very good debate. However, I see a problem. So far only one person who believes in life after death has given evidence, which was a article that barely holds water. No offence. Acidify, walking the earth as ghosts is life after death. But the bible states clearly the "dead know not anything". Zaccid, I see you are a non-believer that refuses God's love because of the pain aroung you. Let me ask you something, parents love their children, but sometimes when the child asks for something that may not be good for them, the parent will often say no. This may cause a common problem called a tantrum. Now, tell me, does that prove that the parent doesn't love them? No. You also have to realize that it is satan, not God, who is the proble.
