Try Apple's iPhone iOS, it's the only one I have used for a long time (other than "normal" phones) and I don't see any need to change from it. It's top of the line and it's actually one of the original ones. They also have updates like every 3-4 months. The App store is big and packed too, and most of the apps are only $.99 cents. It's the best one out there if you ask me.

Your PageRank entirely depends on the amount of and quality of the backlinks that you have, most people (i too) think that it has something to with the content or the SEO, but it doesn't. You have probably lost some of your backlinks or you have built some link exchanges that Google terms as "illegal" to their TOS. If you create a link exchange (link wheel or whatever you want to call it) on another site and that site has a link to your site, the crawler goes from your site onto their site and on that site, if the crawler finds a link back to your site, then your pagerank decreases. We don't need to worry much about Technology and military, at least for now. The US Defence Budget spend more money in the Afghanistan War in 2009 than China's entire Military expenditure. That's how much money we have and how much we can waste it, and it still won't be a biggie because that's only 1/10 of the budget of US Defence for 2009. What I think should be at the top of our list for the next few decades is to reduce production in other countries and stop outsourcing and keep everything within the borders, or maybe Canada or Mexico That's the real power of China, we depend too much on the imports, and they depend on the exports alot. It's too complex because it takes less to manufacture and hire people in China than it does in developed countries... I wish somebody will come up with a solution to this problem...

True, but the thing is, we are slipping away... slowly though. But the only way the United States can still sit at the top of the superpoweres is to obtain some kind of basis, a way to share the "ulimate" superpower with other countries. We need to find a way to live in a "POST-AMERICAN WORLD". That is the only way America can survive the new world as the ultimate power. There is a reason why some problems like the problems between some countries are not solved by them, but instead they turn to America to give them a solution (there are many examples of this). America is ONLY country who can do this, not even the allies of the countries could. The bottom line is that America needs to change to adapt in the new world that emerging with China and India as a huge power... it is every hard too, the British failed at it at the beginning of the 20th century -- but we can learn from them and correct their mistakes.

@Mahesh and WD - I know what you mean, he does "care" in a normal sort of way, but if you look at it... he all the mods and the admins haven't been online and active for the whole year ('10). Moderators usually log in few time a week to check on the spam and stuff, but they almost never post anything. The Admins are even worse, both of them making 2-3 posts every MONTH. I get it that BF is busy with something and Opaque is shifting offices are something, but how long is it going to take to make a few posts on the forum? Now, think about AAALLLLLLLL the threads we have made about the issues with Xisto, NOW, every few of the posts there get answers (like in a gazillion ) and the admin's never answer our questions and stuff. I mean, seriously... lets take this thread as an example... it was posted on 25 April 2010, more than 4 1/2 months ago, with over 80 posts, there are NONE of them Moderators or Admins. That's what i mean by nobody cares about the forum or what WE say. You can form your own opinion on this...

So.... OpaQue is basically running a automatic site where he doesn't need to do anything (except for the mycents of course) he just sets up some categories, and we just post something and he gets big bucks out of it.... For all he cares, he doesn't need to do anything -- we will keep coming back for the mycents. And even if we aren't there, he could make money out of all the thousands of threads that are already here. Maybe that's why he doesn't care that much :/

But you look down at China and India, I read a book once that said that China was building a huge naval fleet during the 14th or 15th century (im not good at dates)and it was 100x bigger than the ships that were used by Vasco de Gama and Chris Columbus when they were exploring, more than a century later. They were led by a intelligent naval leader/commander and the emperor supported all the expeditions and spend alot of money on it. They were the kings of the sea in Asia and they conquered many lands, but they also had many problems in their land by invaders and it wasn't protected as much (ding! thats why they built The Wall) also, and more importantly when the emperor died, the next emperor didn't support the expeditions as much and focused on the country. Though they have their faults, they have the capacity. Who knows, maybe if they had continued their expeditions -- we might be working for them now and they might be the mighty superpower of the world.

Wow, that is just plain bad luck that even your backup had to be lost, sorry for you by the way... did you try getting a backup from the host or copying back your posts using Google Cache options? You might get a little and get it back somehow. Personally, I don't have a clue what the domain name "charmainelo.com" is related to, I get a mental picture of a lizard when I say it haha. I remember that it used to be a personally blog kind of thing, with philosophy thing mixed to it, you should try doing that in a grander-size now, because you seem to be into philosophy. Maybe a site where many people can share their ideas. People LOVE when they can be part of a site, you can try doing that. If you can tell what kind of "niche" that you want to get into, maybe I can give you some more ideas...

If we get more posts = we get more mycents. And with those mycents, we are ripping off money from Xisto - Web Hosting, so its better we have less mycents, less posts. But thats what i don't get, if there are more posts, doesn't opaque get more money from ads? Well, no one has reached 50 before, i think simpleton got until 35 or 45 but he couldn't finish it. Either way, I haven't seen the "you can only post 50 posts until (this time)" for a long time now, for more than a month. Hmm... come to think about it, I haven't seen it since I became a KS/Trap graphics member... maybe that disables it or something. Haha, it's funny I just realize that now. Hmm... now to make alot of posts and get to 51 and laugh at the rest of you... in my dreams.

Hmm... I remember reading that the mycent script was supposed to run every 24 hours, and then after that the time is going to be slowly reduced to a few hours or something. I think i get mycents everyday... I average about .30 cents for each post ($1 USD, myCENTS: 21.02 - 4 posts), at the last update for me, which was on the 7th. It's pretty normal for me, except for the update time. When did you guys get your last update?

Woah, thats pretty weird and awesome at the same time. I think it is just a little coincidence though, there is no way that it could have happened otherwise. They could have picked the same city,casino and same game/slot area because they have similar interests. I think you are the middle point, maybe you hang around people who have a certain kind of interests and so they have a "high" chance that they might might. nice story, i wonder how they felt lol

We actually don't know whether the lower mycent rate for member with more posts has been implemented, or if it ever will. OpaQue said that he will but he never said that he DID it. Maybe it was forgotten like the wikipedia links and more mycents for people with wisdom points. Maybe an Admin can clear this issue? True, you are absolutely correct. But that's only because all these issues were scrambled over many threads, like the trapper thread, the mycent thread, the logo thread, the knowledgestura update thread,etc. I hope they will listen if we bundle over issues in one thread. But really, its their job to do so

Perhaps all these "changes" in the forum aren't a bad thing after all, and could do us something good. I made this thread to practically "showcase" what EVERY member WANTS from Xisto -- what they expect. Mainly something to show other users and the Admins and Moderators. Something the forum has to "live up to". We can share our ideas in what "direction" Xisto should move in, "what should it do now"? and maybe the Admin's could even take some ideas from here. What I except from Xisto- is a clean forum, with a lot of users and new threads to post in. I don't need any fancy theme (but it sure is appreciated) nor any features, just some plain old people. Next up is ACTIVE, friendly and dedicated Admins. They are the core of it all. Apparently, we don't get much of that around here. Third, the ideas of the members have to be appreciated, even if it isn?t going to be implemented, a comment will be nice. The other things I think it needs are common things that I don?t need to explain like spam-free, working shoutbox,etc. I hope everyone will share their ideas...

Yes, mycents are probably the only way most of us are using but even through that, its really opaque's decision. If he decided to close down this forum because (a) not gaining enough money (b)no real activity or any other reason, I won't complain --not that much, anyway. It's his site, his decision. We already have MANY examples of him using that power... I'm not saying its right and telling him to go ahead closing off the site... just saying that I wouldn't have a forum with which I don't spend time with... i would try to make it better or hand it off to people who can do better with it. My opinion....
