deadmad, why don't you stop bragging about all the illegal stuff you download and create a tutorial that actually works and help this guy out. i would do it, but graphics is not my forte. can't be that hard to slap together a 1 page tut. you run a tutorial site now for gosh sakes :)OR, that can be your first tutorial. what a concept. slap it on your website and post the link here

LOL, about half the animations are made with the programs you have mentioned not to share! But you can always go the pirate way and download them (which i do but im inclined to share that it is pretty illegal if you live in the US, UK, Canada, etc. but I see that you live in Malayasia as you said in your introduction thread, so you can pirate things and your government won't care! lucky ). I don't recommend trying to animate things with Photoshop though, it turns out very,very sloppy. And also i really don't even have a clue on how you can animate things with Adobe Dreamweaver? Do you add like flash into it or use HTML5 to animate things around? Explain a bit here pl0x :oYou should try Pivot if you are into stickfigure animation or use GIMP to create stuff and make into a .gif animation. And thats all i can pretty much think of when you say freeware/opensource programs.

Welcome to the forum, Earthshaker. You should try to start out on Xisto by reading the help section, located near the "sign out" button. After that, you can post to your hearts content! You earn mycents for each post you make, all you have to do is go to Xisto - Support.com/billing and sign up there with the same email you have used to sign up for Xisto. For now, you can only use your mycents to buy hosting and servers from Xisto - Web Hosting and nothing else like adding to your paypal account,etc. BTW, im a play (or used to) play CABAL Online too. It was pretty fun and started my own private server in it and I had it with 10-20 people online until i eventually had to shut it down.

When one wins a SOTW, one usually wants to brag a little. Placing the tag below your sig is the acceptable way to accomplish that, isn't it?. Where else would one use a SOTW winner tag? It only means something to people on this forum.

LOL. You have got the whole direction thing messed up. Who the heck is going to be turning this way while shooting a gun! XD you might want to change it so he faces left. Other than that, it seems pretty good. You also might want to add some detail to the gun and his hands... what program did you use to make this again? Maya or something?

@wd and mich - lol. I think for regular users its 300x300 and for others (like gfx mods(me) and mods) its 500x200. It says its 500x200 for me and all my sigs are 400x150 or below (without the border)..... another thing to be complained about to opaque

and i must say that this is what i meant before, adding some soul to your designs will make them shine even if hey are not 100% perfect. and that soul should come from the person you are representing or from the message you are trying to deliver. i hope you understand me better now, and if not then it is ok . i like it a lot, thanks for your effort, you really did a great job in here.

Hmm... sure you can use both of them. Actually you can use both of those sigs AND your meinterest banner. As long as it follows this rule :

Your signature may contain:Up to 3 images
Images up to 500 x 200 pixels
Up to 10 URLs
Up to 15 lines

Anwiii, if it doesn't work for you just post the error you are getting or post a pic of it. I'll try to help you out as much as possible. But this tutorial works for sure.

it's not working. in fact, it's not saving the macro. i'm done wasting my time on something i will never use anyway. i think you need to figure out what's going on with your tutorial before you post one though.

There is NOTHING wrong with my tutorial, you are probably doing it wrong.

UPDATE - I'm taking requests again. I've also done another sig for WD since she has returned WD sig version 2 - its way better than the last one (that thing sucked! ). I personally think its the best sig i've done so far... here it is -

hey- nice little tip there. i spin some of my stuff. i don't really recommend people use this trick to spin things though. there is free software that does a better job and has a lot more options and control and obviously the paid software is optimal if you in to spinning lots of stuff.
hmmm. i just tried your tutorial and it doesn't work. i am using ms word 2007. i didn't even see where to click on spin article. i followed your tip step by step. there is obviously something wrong with your tutorial. who the heck approved this thread? haha

I know there are better free software, but this is for people to use the same old Word to spin their articles. And it DOES work, I used it myself a whole bunch of times. I use Microsoft Word 2007 too. Are you sure you pasted the code from this link: http://pastebin.com/waQQbLHf and did you save it? After you save it, it should appear in the macro list when you press ALT+F8. No matter what you named it before, its name after you saved it should be "SpinArticle" and when you click on that, it automatically spins the text that has been written on the open page.

I know most of you already know about article spinners and such but to those of you that don't, article spinners are programs used by webmasters and anybody in general to quickly change the words in a article with other words that are similar so that they can post it on their site without even creating the content themselves. Most search engines work past this nowadays (and the easiest way is to just write an article yourself) but here's how to create a simple article spinner... with nothing other than a working copy of Microsoft Word.

1. Open up Microsoft Word.
2. Navigate to the macro section or hit "ALT+F8"
3. The macro window should open up. Now type in a random name (it won't be used afterall) and click create.
4. A VB window should open up, now delete everything in that box and paste this code into it.

5. Now save and exit the VB window.
6. Paste any article into the space in Word.
7. Open the Macro window and click "SpinArticle".
8. All the words will now be replaced with their synonyms.
9. Now you have your own article!!!

I know that the end result doesn't look that good, but the best thing about using Microsoft Word to spin your articles is that it can automatically learn new and better synonyms. Besides, its better than shelling out money to buy a expensive bulky software!

well no mahesh, even if you are not one of opera's fans. but do it for yourself, as i did. i just tested that personally. forums and chat room are loading more faster in opera than firefox. try it yourself and you will see a huge different. after all, this is the same old reason that forced me to switch to opera, and i wonder why is the forum more fast and friendly in opera more than firefox??

No, Opera and Internet Explorer are the worst viewers for this forum, firefox is pretty good but Chrome (and other chromium builds) render this forum perfectly! In opera and internet explorer, (well at least for me) the tabs on the top (forums,member,portal,etc.) are just green blocks and the ajax thingy that pops out when you click your name on the top and the status messages don't work most of the time. The only thing they are good for is the CHAT, because in Firefox and Chrome, when you use the chat if a new message is posted, instead of scrolling down, it scrolls up. So its pretty annoying... what i did, as i use chrome, was to install a IE tab plugin and set it up so the chat link always opens up the IE tab and everything is normal chrome. @mahesh what browser are you using now?

Use ad-block plus and block some images and JS that is going on the site. By doing this you'll speed up things a bit. I removed many images from the IPB and that way speed is slowly increasing. I also blocked gallery from my views by blocking the folder in ad-block plus. If you're browsing KS from now on, just turn on the ad-block plus for forum.

I suggest just getting the newest version of Opera and installing it. It comes out with a built in ad blocker, much more simple. It also has a web page and image compressor that you can use to speed up the loading of webpages, the images look a little weird but its not that noticeable. If you are more advanced, i think that you can use chrome and firefox plugin combinations to achieve the same effect.

Shouldn't there be some filters by blizard? We have dynamic ip and I know he have multiple accounts...but is it really worth to have something so addictive on the market? Pardon me for the trivial question...maybe I'm just an idealist...

Hmmmm.. yeah. Even I play WOW, but its not like its the only thing you do. You can't just blame it on technology or blizzard, its mainly his fault and he has to deal with it.

I say that you help him get through this, hes probably in a low point in his life and as his brother you should probably help him get a degree or something or get a job somewhere! at a company or flipping burgers! it doesn't matter!

And if that doesn't work, just log onto his account, curse at everyone you see or probably use some hacks, that will be enough to get you perma (permanently) banned!! Now, all his hard work is gone! congrats! he will either stop playing altogether (and probably beat you up, which is OK) or start a new account... in which point you should kick him out of your house!

Or else consider giving his username and password away to someone inside the game, if you know it.
