Thanks alot guys but um do i have to do what buffalo did? holy crap that sounds like a PAIN in the *bottom* if i get that lava stuff will it clean it up?? i also leave my computer on and hooked to the internet um... 24/7 ? i have dial up so i hate having to connect it each time i go on so i just leave it on good idea? people tell me ill kill my computer anyway just by leaving it on that much could those two things contribute to the mad amounts of spy ware on my comp and be shortening the life of mycomp?

Hey guys last year when i got this computer i had a very nice 2.6 cpu 512 ram and an eigthy gig hard drive and since all i play are rts it ran like butter i loved it.... however lately Spy ware has jus taken over this thing it appears its running soo slow it seems as if theres no way i can get rid of it i have somthing called spy bot search and destroy and that works okay but never does a great job i only run fire fox and on top of that i have norton however all it does is say so many files (usually 30 or so ) found as threats then it tries to dealte em they all say ceres or somtihing and the delate always fail OMG how do i get rid of this spy ware and live free again? its not the tons of pop ups that drive me crazy but the constant sluggish of my computer. links to better tools would be much appreciated i really need help on this matter. p.s. i tried to run norton in safe mode and it still coudlnt dealte this stuff.

hey guys i play sc ALOT and i sorta need a breather but i still havent found another good rts game. Ive tried the age of empires games bah.... to slow pace same with age of mytholgoies and wc. Ive heard good things about cc and that its basically just like sc however with all big franchizes theres usually some really sucky games in the bunch is this true for cc? what one should i buy? and hows the online play? is rise of nations good? any recomendations for a good FAST paced rts would be great. how long ago did the first command and conquer game come out. ???

Lol i can also tottaly relate because i also like to listen to loud music as well as late at night and on top of that its stuff like green day and other punkish /metal type stuff so the language can get pretty bad. What helps alot though is i dont have skater style mine are nice sonys that have it so that both ear things can come down u know what i mean? so for like bigger heads and smaller oens it can go up and down that way since i have it on like medium seting when i get it up those just extend its also a fairly long cord (six feet or so) so thats just what i doand if there a lil big thats nice to cause they just come out. It also depends where u plug them in.... if u plug them into speakers by monitor they usually just come out but if u plug them into computer some where usually gets hung up

lol um sorry bro but u heard wrong the probe dosnt change into anythign there use to be a hack that when u typed "inhale" u got unlimited gas. Get it? like inhale is taking in? so your geting unlimited gas but obviously blizzard would release a new patch for the hack i doubt he wanted it though considering THEN all his reps along with every one elses would be corrupted due to the fact that they are saved on 1.12 and when 1.13 comes out its screws up all old reps do to the fact that u cant run a replay on a differnt version then the one it was saved on.

hmm do u know what the path was REALLY about?? they say it was about the font problems and yest it partly was but in reality it was to fix the muta bug. For those of you that dont know what that was it was a bug hackers found that could allow you to make mutalisks with a drone yes with just a drone requiring no gas nor spire and it dosnt count as any more supply so in like first five minutes of game u could already have six muta. So of course they had to take care of that bug right away however most of the time billizard does not want to disclose the fact that the primary reason for new patchess is because of hacks simply because they dont want to make it look like to other hackers that there game is hackable which it is very hackable. If u want to stay up to date on whats up with sc go to gosugamers.net great site with news updated like six times a day. Oh and also i wish they would take there time and release ONE patch that could seriously lock down the code in sc so they wouldnt have to constantly release more and more patches causeing all my replays to be corrupted its really starting to get annoying.

Wow i Had a long talk with buffalo yesterday and he got me all set up thanks for your guyeses help though. Did u guys know that trap already has pre installed php boards? all u have to do is just add the url and u have em for instance type mysite.trap17.com/forumshere and it will automatically install them and add a folder in public html named forumshere its extradianrly simple of course it does use up some of your bw but if you dont have that many people visiting the forums any way its fine. I would highly recomend it and its quite simple

Sup guys this year I will be a junior in HS and well I really want it to be different than the previous two years. You see I was home schooled through eighth grade. So most of my friends ive known for only two years, not that that isn?t long enough its just so many of my friends have gone to school with there gf?s since first grade. But mainly what it means is that my social skills arnt exactly up to par with the rest resulting that im sorta shy around girls. Ive never had a gf, and until the other day I thought that was fine but I went to a friend of my siters wedding. It was awesome I danced with some girls that were just awesome, sure they were 22, 19 and 21 but it was fun and I think they enjoyed it as well. I also felt I said the right things. They asked me what I was into I talked about my self for a bit but I dint hesitate to also talk about them as well, and I never let that awkard silence enter. That night was aweseome but the next day I sorta felt worse in a way I was happy I had a good time but in another aspect I looked at in the fact that its been two years and I still haven?t gone to a HS dance. And I started to wonder what ive been missing and that I should get a gf. But when I think about the girls in my school there nothing but a bunch of preppy skanks. I think I should wait and let life ride. Is college better? God it cant be worse all the chicks in my school just seem like a bunch of snobbish *BLEEP*es. Im getting my license next week so that should be nice. Any tips on making this school year different? Should I go to dances even though I really don?t like the girls in my school? And is it a really bad idea to go to a school dance with out a date? I guess I feel like a loser because after dancing with those chicks I feel like I DO have the skills to communicate with the opposite sex and its just the girls my age are mostly soo immature and never think farther than when the next time they can fix there make up is. Any advice/tips? Is it wrong to just blow girls off for a bit or will that just be hindering my verbal skills/ body language skills for college?

Hmm i have to disagree with many people unfortunatly yes teamout its true i have also heard rumors of this new underwater race, call me a loser, call me old schooll what ever u want but i seriously dont want a new race sc is to perfect and most of all to BALANCED for ther to be a succesful sequal so yes out your right about this new race rumor but your wrong in the fact that blizzard is making next to zero money of sc now the entire battle chest sells at only $15 and there arnt to many in stock in most stores. They are making most of ther profits off WoW and the montly fee's. Honestly Sc is still going to strong (people might not be still buying em) but people are still playing sc way to much for any chance at making a good sequaal it would be so hard to add new maps and races and still keep all races even. However even if there is no sc 2 around the corner at least we still have sites like these http://www.gosugamers.net/ pumping out our sc news for us fanatics

I am trying to put php forums on my site. I think the only ones around are these https://www.phpbb.com/ correct? even if there not they seem to be what most people use. I currently have proboards which deffinelty leaves alot to be desired. What I am wondering is after i download the forums and upload them via ftp. Where do i upload them to? the Public_html folder? and if so can i edit and/make boards and categoirs etc just from being an admin on those forums or do i need to go through the buttons on my cpanel Labeled MySQL Databases, phpMyAdmin, PostgreSQL Database and phpPgAdmin if not what are those for? Do i need to set up some kind of "database before i can upload the forums. I would really like step by step instructions on how to get it working. My ftp is Ws_ftp pro and my site is http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ if that helps thank you guys for your help in advance. I also relize I could ask for help on phpbb forums but you guys seem more educated, friendlier and just all around good people, once again thank you for taking your time to read this post.

Hmm say again? i dint really understand that i created a new folder for the zach.css however the new folder is not in public_html does it need to be?

Hmm well i created a new file named style and i moved that css document. And as far as the link goes your right thats wrong ill have to fix that but still dosnt explain why you cannot see the white text in the rules page among other ones like the members page

Hey guys Here is my orgininal site : http://www.team-sp.g.iwarp.com/ When I got hosting here i just copied and paisted the text from the files at freeservers into the backup copies i had on my computer (They wernt updated back ups so it was a good idea any way) So no names were changed at all! which is why the links work and on them ain page (news) the text works fine and so as on the about page but the members page has some seriously weird things going on u cant see the text that arnt links and the links are a differnt color same as on the rules and llinks pages. Any idea why this is consideirng its the EXACT same code any help would be great. Hmm how hard is it to install a dvd player? fairly simplish? Ive heard that games run on dvd players play much better, any idea why that is? And how much is it for a dvd rw ( w/e it is that lets you burn them)

My freind and i were talking the other day (we both know very little about computers, but im trying to learn ) and he was saying that he thought u could put two video cards on one pc. He also stated that you could sorta mix and match i told him he really had no clue what he was talking about and there was no way you could ever put a radeion with a nividia even if you could put two cards on one comp. was he right? it dosnt really make sense to me. Hmm 100 years? Wow thats really scary considering I try not to even think about tomorow lol Jk but it does seem sorta pointless even though its a good deal. I dont know if you guys have a store where you live called costco its a huge whole sale store chain thing they sell every thing grorcries cloths the works and dirty cheep but u end up bying things that u wouldnt normally by just because its such a great deal and in the end it ends up costing you more money.

Well I am a big fan of RTS mainly because i love online play but my connection restricts me from playing first person shooters. Luckily I have no problems with any RtS to date. And i have played quite a few. A while back i bought some of the age of empires games... They were good, solid game play but they were missing one very important factor.... Nicitine yes nicitine they were just all around not very addictive I also tried the age of mythology games and i was to say the least very dissapointed some one coulda told me before i bought it that yes it had solid game play, and that it was good, but that it was EXACTLY like age of empires just with hero/mythological units.... and just as not addicting. No i would deffinelty not go shell out your money on any of the games in those two franchises. The command and conqueres are okay but there old and Starcraft is a much better option.... ahh yes the world of blizzard now were geting into some good games let me tell you about them. First I own Starcraft/expansion and the Wc battle chest Ive played both games alot. In the end i must say that I like SC sooo much more however thats not really fare considering there unlike most people say two tottaly differnt types of games. yes there both rts but wc has a smaller supply limt than sc it also has heros those two combied mean you have to "micro" (watch every unit closely/try to keep them alive - not just send them into battle) all your units espcially your heros the maps are also larger so you have less units and bigger maps and the units you do have cant just be sent careening into battle like the protoss zealots. Starcraft however is more focused on strategial stuff like how you place your troops, how you flank your enemy with your zerglings to surrond them and keeping a nice economy. Starcraft is deffiently based more towards the war like person that likes action and a very addicting game and for 15 bucks for the whole battle chest how can you go wrong? But if you like smaller stuff more time speant puttering with units/upgrading your heros etcc... and u cant stand graphics from 8 years ago then go WC but before you go wc i sincerlyh hope you give sc a try first. I game online all the time so if you ever need any help drop me a line.

A little bit off topic but not to much.... I was wondering If i was to build a gaming computer say with a 128 mb card, 512 ram and a fast processor and all the other goodies how much would i save by building my own? Oh and lastly really off topic what does overclocking your video cards and how dangerious is it if u dont know what your doing.

Im sure many of you have never even played starcraft or if you have it hasnt been in the last year or two. However there is still some of us (like my self) that play this game constantly.... i can never get enough!! Any way my freinds and my self have formed a starcraft gaming team called the Spartan Gamers. We are now accepting recruits, but i wont kid you into thinking we accept everyone we have very high standards. here they are: 1. You must play at least 15 1v1 a week2. You must be very good mannered and all around well behaved.3. Of course you have to pass a try out game or two so we know your skill level we do accept fairly nubish players but you have to WANT to improve. Even if your not that good right now i highly suggest you coming out some of our members are extremly good and they will help you even if you have had an absense from the game for a few years. Thank you guys very much for the in formation When you say they are used for creating "dynamic" pages what exactly does that mean? that a user can change and interact with the site not just the webmaster? Another question ive like i said heard that DW and FP are both bad but DW less soo than FP and ive seen people use DW arnt the colors of the font like blue red and purple etc?? i think Dreamweaver is what im talking about. Also are there any good books i could buy that are just general knowledge of webpages and how they work/ how to build them i dont want somthing on HTML (not that basic) but somthing i could understand or should i just go pick up c++ for dummies and start reading it? what would help my web skills the most. Another thing i find quite odd is that frontpage costs like what 150 and dreamweaver costs 400? how is that possible? dont they do about the same thing how can dreamweaver get away with that price. Hey guys im kinda new here and I would really like to be able to build better websites. People have told me to never use "cheat programs" like dreamweaver and front page. Now im sorta confused cause HTML to me does not sound like you can do that much with it so I was wondering if you dont use Dreamweaver and you dont use front page how do u combine all the other langueges together to make an aweseome webpage? Im taking a class on vb in the fall along with C++ however i unfortunatly do not even really know what they are ( i guess thats why im taking a class on em right) So what i would like to know is can you guys just kinda help me figure all this stuff out for instance what is perl scripting ? and php? dont they have somthing to do with msg boards like phpbb ones? are they just for msg boards and DO you guys use dreamweaver or front page? do you think its bad? this is a link to one of my current sites : http://www.team-sp.g.iwarp.com/ That is about the level im at now so as you can see i have alot to learn.
