  1. [*Quote*]Hi allI bought a PsTwo a couple of days ago mainly because I wanted to play some of the older "shoot 'em up" games. And the fact that these gameswill be playable on the Ps3 as well is an added bonus. So far I have purchased Ico, Maximo, Street Fighter Ex Alpha. I've spent most of my money onIco but I hope to be purchasing R-Type Final, Gradius III & IV & V,God of War, DMC3 and GT4 I already own an Xbox and have thoroughly enjoyed games like CounterStrike, Halo 1 & 2, Conker, Oddworld Stranger's Wrath & Oddworld : Munch's Oddysee. Can any of you recommend similar ultra high quality games on the ps2that are available now or soon the be released.I have a lot of catching up to do! btw Is there an official national \ international games top 20? [*Quote*]dude if you like sports get nba stree v3 and fight night round 2 they are tight as heck!!! gud luck

  3. [*Quote*]but wat is the definition of a great game?i mean does it make u have lot of fun while playing ...or u can play it for long time which can never make u bored...i mean rpg is fun ...but after u finished everything ...i will like not even touching it...afterward.... coz it become so boring afterward...i guess this is the reason for arpg online...like D2 etc....but strag game like AOE2 and WC3....a lot of ppl argue about which ones better ....but i think they are totally different game....there is not much way to decide...AOE2 is good as in its completation..i mean it has been out for a while already...and company have modify it and kill bug for a while enough to make it without big deal of bugs...WC3 is like a new game compared to AOE2, but the range of improvment can be done is great in WC3.... eg.. World editor in WC3 give player a way to improve how games can be fun....they are both a successful online game i guess....maybe i shouldn't talk about online game...as they will also improve every month or so...for single player game.... i guess graphic is one of the attraction ....but some game with good graphic doesn't mean it has good fun....some game without good graphic also really good...there is one game i want to take about.,...a very old game ...Pizza typcoon....not pizza 2 ...but 1...i like how realistic it can be..everywhere is full of bad ppl in the world...so as a pizza restaurant...in this game u can be a good ppl through out the game...but once u done a bad thing... u can never back to a clean rabbit....i dunno .... maybe many of u never play that game...but try it when u have chance....u might be suprised by the way it play...u need to surely know everything about the game to find out how amazing this game is....sorry a bit saying too much....and sorry about my english... [*Quote*]ya man i agree with that..after you get tired of a game your not going to pla yit again ever...not like a rpg game..i mean you can always come back and replay it if you really liked the story or didnt understand some parts...not like sports games man i get tired of eem real easy.

  5. [*Quote* ] Hi there, My favorite MMORPG is World of Warcraft, hands down. I started playing WoW during the first stress test on a computer with the following make up. ----------------------- PC133 system board Pentium III 1.10ghz 133 fsb 256mb RAM with 133mhz frontside bus SoundBlaster Live audio 20gb harddrive Windows 2000 GeForce 2 32mb video w/ Tv-Out ----------------------- The game rocked, and the graphics were beautiful. Me and my wife played (alternating) throughout the 12 days of stress testing. We tried and failed to get into second Beta, but we applied for Second Stress test and made it in! Stress test wasn't going to start for 3 days so I said screw it and I built the following computer for my wife. ============== System board, 800mhz fsb - built in audio - built in NIC (1ghz) Pentium 4 3.0ghz w/HyperThreading 800fsb 512mb RAM 533mhz fsb ATI Raedon 9800 pro 256mb built in memory (by Sapphire) 21 inch monitor 80gb harddrive CDRW-DVD Combo ============== Additionally I upgraded my ram to 512 (maximum) and video to a GeForceFX 5500 256 built in memory. Needless to say hers rocked mine, but I can still play happily on mine. The game scales well for video. We played Stress, got into Open Beta, and then bought 2 Collectors Editions:D We love this game. [*Quote* ] damn i wish i can make my own pc man..thats tight...ill make some when i get older
  6. [*Quote] HaHa! I bought the gamecube just for this game. And after i beat it I sold the cube. From a drastic change from the original resident evils, it is one of the greatest REs made. The new walking system is great and the Aiming system is brilliant. Also the crazy Europeans run for a change than drag their feet like the lazy zombies in the other RE's (besides RE 1 remake, the blood zombies were crazy scary when the sprint at you). One of the best parts of this game is the weapon and buy/sell system. Oh gosh, do i love the weapons, upgrades, everything. Everytime i see the blue flame i almost crap myself, just kidding. But anyways, this game is great. Im a big big fan of the RE series. [*Quote] like some of the old Residents although I like 4 (hehe GC only, this boosted GC sales SO SO much as much as they needed it, since the graphics are revolutionary... I.E. Better than Xbox and Ps2). I think the old view for RE:5 would be intresting, Expecially if it still had the new aiming style of gameplay. Plus the bonus games at the end of it were awsome. (I remember finishing the game and I played the extra game and got those other guns) I Also liked the leveling up the weapons and getting buying weapons, that was really innovative for the game. ya man i love resident evil 2 its the best
  7. yo whats up..i went neg 4 so they terminated my account...how do i get it back???
  8. [*Quote*]MS Flight Simulator is one of the best you will find. The best freeware addons (planes of all kinds, scenery, utilities, etc.) can be downloaded at avsim and simaviation. You know, just add the "dot com" to these names in your address bar.The first one is a favorite among Flight simmers. They require a registration and the downloads are password protected. But it's free. They also offer reviews of addons both free or payware, and links to other resources. If you want to become serious about MSFS you ahould get a membership. The second one is completely open. No registration or passwords. They have also gathered a good crowd that share their ideas, add ons, pilot talk, etc. Just as avsim but without its reputation. For those who do not have a state of the art computer to take full advantage of FS2K4, but would like to really feel what flying any kind of aircraft is like: Try FS2K2. Most of the graphics are as good as those of FS2K4. The installation program gives you an option for a compact install. And you do not need a disk in your CD ROM drive as FS2k4. In fact I haven't quit using FS2k2 because its graphics quality is almost the same as FS2k4, but there are much more quality freeware add ons for it than for the latest version. It doesn't swallow your computer resources. And... ...my computer is not as new as I would like. Now, if you prefer war operations (shooting and bombing,) you should try MS Combat Flight Simulator III. I have never used it because I am not very well fond of wars. But I have heard its quality is at least as good as FS2k2.It's true that you need to make some effort when it comes to simulators. This one will require a basic knowledge of aerodynamics. But the name of the game is still FUN!!! Once you get to fly the Cessna 182 properly, (there are tutorials and virtual lessons within the simulator itself,) you may join all kinds of multiplayer virtual flying communities. CIA operations, NASA, airlines, charters...you name it. You can break the sound barrier on a Mig23 or F18, or (like me ,)a NASA T-38 Talon. Or, like I sometimes do... ... fly a piper cub slowly and really low to admire the landscapes, beaches, etc.If any of you want to try one of these simulators and need help, let me know, I will be glad to help out. (for free of course) Best regards,Joe RMexico [*Quote*]ya i was going to buy it today but it takes a lot of space man!! peace
  9. yo wats up....is nfsu2 better than midnight club 3?????thanks...just give me like a comparison or so!!

I mean we know we like the game but that review wasnt quite accurate. Now here is some good and bad stuff about the game, you only heard the game. The good-Lots of land to discoverLots of suff to drive, ride, and stealGun skills that can get annoying to someNow the rest im going to talk about in sentance form. Now we all loved the random arrival of a rpg in a city stealing cars and things like that. Now GTA 3 was great, GTA Vice City was better and GTA SA was a little better. They may have done well with what I listed but now there are about the same amount of weapons, and they screwed all kid gamers for life. They had to -fudge- it all up with that god damn mod! They made it so now all M rated games are completely restricted to kids under 17! And now they added skills! WOO HOO! LETS COMPLETELY RUIN THE ORIGINALITY OF THE GAME!!! And the whole "ghetto experiance"... NO! All they do is throw you in as a black guy stick you in "the hood" and then have a couple rival gangs, woop-ee-dee-doo. They still need to fix that whole, cops find you anywhere you go, and the landscape is huge. Almost annoying! They put all this "character creation" thing with people. Tell you the truth its just the same thing. You can see its your guy in another suit. The hair cuts are all "ghetto". Which is pretty annoying. Another thing is the eating thing. You have to eat once every---30 minutes. Wow! REALISTIC! And for all you GTA fans who are ticked off because of the new style of the game------which is the exact same one as lets say...Dark Stone mixed with the freedom of Morrowind with cars and that stuff.------Another thing I hate is how your ALWAYS ABLE TO KILL THE GANGSTERS!!! You walk up with your .45 and pop them in the head and then you killed them! So if you want one of my personal favorite games that are like GTA games only more realistic, its definitely Mafia for the PC or whatever, just not Gamecube or PS1 or you know. This is my first post and I hope it was good. Im telling opinion not fact so see you guys later! and in other posts. [*Quote]Wow you outlined the whole thing..thats awesome!! how many times have u beaten it?
  11. [*Quote]QUOTE(Koel @ Jun 30 2005, 12:38 AM)I wasnt really impressed with FF7. I didnt play it untill recently, and I didnt care for it much. I keep hearing about how the story is great. If I want a good story I will watch a movie, not play a game. I play games for gameplay, and the gameplay of FF7 just didnt hook me. I felt more involved when I played Pokemon than I did with ff7. PS [*Quote]Dude, a video game is half-movie, half game. That's why it's called a video game. Most movies have crappy storylines anyways [well, that's what I think. ] But anyways, Final Fantasy 7 was pretty good. I like it. The gameplay was nice [ I like the materia system ], the graphics weren't too bad [the field animations were a bit too blocky, but that's fine], the music was pretty good, and the storyline was interesting to say the least. The only "discrepancy" I have is with Sephiroth. He is by far the most overrated FF boss. Now, I don't want to open a new can of worms, so I'll just stop there before we end up in a debate. Anyways, the Weapons were nice for a challenge too. Frustrating, but it was worth it. All in all, it was good game. I can't complain really. It's not my favourite FF game, but it's memorable nonetheless. i didnt really like it too coz its 2d...like its not 3d-like final fantasy 8..i dont know why a lot of people liked the game..prolly the characters??well peace

  14. QUOTE(psychiccyberfreak @ Jul 10 2005, 12:34 AM)I actually herd that game was a major disapointment, and was nothing it was said to be. I don't even have an xbox and I know that. Think what you want to think I guess...Well... not quite. It wasn't quite as great as some people inside the game programming industries and such thought it COULD be, but gamers seem to have the general concensus that it WAS all that.My opinion: yeah, it could have been better. I'm a game programmer, so I notice every little thing. like I said, however, for gameplay and plot, it was great.Arin Sky1/3 of the Tri_Ware corporation YA i agree with ya man...i didnt like that crap...its boring...when i first saw the preview i thought it was going to be really good! but it wasnt! garr
  15. hi...i just want to ask..if you guys liked it..and if you guys know how to unlock all the weapons without using the cheats!!!...thanks peaCE
