Hey guys i know basically nothing about php nuke all i know is that A. it can have logins on yoru site and B. if you have a news section other people can update it right? Well besides that im tottaly new to Nuke but i need those things on my site and i dont know any php so i cant write it my self. So whats the first step to geting nuke? Well I guess i have a chance to make a reply here that acutally means somthing lol because i my self bought a 4 gig black nano about a month ago. And all i can say is wow i love it. The other nice thing about it is that unlike the other ipods people honestly cant really say anything bad about the nano. First of all its Flash so there are no moving parts. Which means (not that you would) but if you did drop it there would be alot less chance of it breaking and i unfortunatly have droped mine from about three feet or so on to concreat.... nothing bad happened so i am very happy with mine. THe battery is good the color screen is great as well. THe only problem i have ran into is that they scratch very very easily, Your probably thinking "ya what dosnt when u drop it on concreat" no before that it was already scratched and yes it is just cosmetic but that is a little sad. However i think there are accersiories out now for it like the mini that can strap it on your arm and what not so that is a plus. ALl in all i would highly recomend that nano u wont be dissapointed. Ya no offense but i personnally dont dig those huge clans tht cover all of blizzards games and even counter strike for some of them. And have 100+ members that mainly do nothing but chatcraft. No i prefer the small elite teams of 7-15 guys that just game game game and its all 1;1 Low money. Now of course these teams usually last like what three months tops? but there fun while they last and then we go make a new one but that type of life isnt for every one its just what i like to do i guess

Do you guys by any chance make starcraft Broodwar maps? It sorta gets old palying LT LT all the time and I love testing new maps so if you do make any sc maps or have made id love to see them

Well I would highly recomend PC for online gaming as a matter of fact PC for anything. A few of the reasons: 1. Its alittle bit harder to play pc games online and what i mean by this is that you have to make sure its compatiable, download the necceasary patches /mods and what not as well as in most games find a server and / or a good community to game in. Live is tottaly differnt its way easier you pop the game in there are no requirements and you play. Now you might ask why is this bad? Well call me scrooge but mainly because in my opinion due to the how eazy it is to get online with live you have a much MUCH younger aduience and usually but NOT always that results in less maturity in your online gaming. Now i realize we are all fairly young(under 30 or so?) and we all like our games and saying "Hahah owned you" but honestly the number of people on live that are 12 or under is really geting rediciolious and in my opinion takes the fun out of it. Especially since with out the keyboard its alot eazier at least in my opinion so the level of skill decreases in consoles it seems like or at least the potential of skill. Because with a keyboard you can mod it your self, you can get every thing just right and you can be insanely better than others where as with consoles it seems like the learning curve is alot less. Some people think thats bad some think its good its up to you as the individual i guess i just figured id put in my two cents worth.

Hey guys after reading some articles online today about the launch of the 360 i got to thinking. You see all across america they flew off the shelves tuesday morning, I heard of one guy even paying a guy to have his spot in line for 800!! that dosnt even count the $400 he had to pay for the 360 itself so if people are willing to pay all this money just to have it on launch day. Do you think its wise to reserve a few ps3's and then put them up on ebay that day? I heard one 360 sold wensday afternoon for 1600 on ebay!! I honestly dont see where i could go wrong with this unless of course the obvious... people did not want them or stores did not sell out. Any way your comments please. oh and are u planing on geting a ps3?

Well this is gonna sound fairly retarted because I feel splinter cell is a better game, Better grapics better engine etc.... However!! NO way would i ever take it over MGS Like ever one before me has said the thing that rocks about mettal gear is that with each one it gets better the storyline is always so freaking awesome and original its just an all around sweet game and theres all kinds of coo tricks i remember in mettal gear sold solid snake for the PS that i like beat it enough times just so i could get the tuxido. God those were the days. any way so ya im sorry MGS just has to much history and its so classic to ever be topped by splinter cell.

Well thanks guys. I learned alot. However I was at school the other day and noticed that a bunch of the teachers had brand new 19 flat panel LCDs I noticed they were princetons i think and they said they paid 300 for them at costco and i was wondering would there be ghosting on those? because they looked really nice but then again they werent running halflife 2 eather. Because that sounds like a really good price for a 19 inch. ANd if that monitor will ghost can u direct me to some that wont?

Hmm ya like that one guy said up above just download iTunes along with media player and you should be good to go. I dont really see the point of having an os JUST for music kinda seems like a waiste imo but what do i know any way I use both media player and itunes and it works great for all the music stuff i want to do. And boy do i love my nano

Now at least i know for sure that I dont need profesional simply because i dont do THAT much stuff with websites and I simply dont need all those extra features like backing up because well honestly im a normal human and dont do THAT much with computers lol Any way once again thanks for the input

True However its still not an RTS it would deffinetly fall better under the category of action. But then again all action games are RTS's because RTS means real time strategy and it is in real time but how much strategy? I guess the only games that would for sure not be RTS are turn based games such as civilazations?

Hey my stik sounds like you really are actually a "player" at sc id love to vs you sometime. Its so odd because i just honestly CANT get enough of this freaking game. Thats just all there is to it. ive only been playing a year but i still love it i just keep playing and playing it. I play on USWESt simply because thats where I started and leaving ALL your freinds behind can be sad . I dled some of the blizcon vods the other day. They were pretty neat only problem though was that they were thirdperson vods which suck but oh well. Well im Sure its not "GOOD" for your computer to be left on ALL the time but the question is how bad is it for it? I Personally leave my computer on all the time 24/7 (do restart it here and there do) and i have no problems. However one thing i think is key to that is that i have dial up internet so A. My ip is constantly changing and B. It often disconeccts it self it self so its harder for worms to get in there and do anything if its not on as much. So ya ive had no problems but i think if i had cable or dsl no matter how good my firewall was id turn it off.

Okay well this is a fairly simple post i was just rather curious on the differnce between Microsoft XP home Edition and Profesional. I belive the home edition is what I have on this computer but I also belive Profesional is more expensive isnt it? If so what extra features and what not do you pay for in profesional how much better is it?

Hi I currently have a view sonic 17 inch that ive had for about the last three years.... Well Lately ive been wanting to get a new nice flat panel LCD. I also mainly play the RTS game starcraft but would like to play perhaps newer games like Halflife 2. Any way i was telling my freind about this and he said unless i got a very highend Flat pannel LCD (400+ dollars) I would have bad what he called Ghosting effects while playing new fps's? what is this ? is it true and how much would it happpen?

I really think it depends because somtimes its nice depending on the closeness of the game to brag. Some people feel that if it was a close game that you won you still dont have braging rights because it was so close. I disagree because if you creamed him then he has nothing to say back at you and it just lookes like your an bad mannered but if it was close you can say hahha wanst that great!! and then he can return by saying ya it was but my this was also coo. So you can brag but every one stays happy. However not to go too far off topic I would just like to say what really ticks me off is when people (right now im refering to the rts game starcraft among others) wanna 1v2 because if they win they are the hero!! the god no exceptions but if they lose its liek well it was 1v2 any way so what did u expect? so really if your on the two side and you win you get no braging rights and if you lose your the goat. I am considering buy a new computer. However I really can't decide which one to get a laptop or a desktop. Its really is a tossup for me. I am currently a junior in HS and it would be nice to get a laptop due to the fact i have two programming classes and it would be nice to use my laptop instead of the schools crappy computers. However would the desktop in the long run be cheaper considering i could upgrade it? I was also looking at http://www.ibuypower.com/ and it seems to me you cant get any graphics card bigger than 128 in a laptop ? why is this is the 256 just two thick? So the nice thing about the desktop I guess is that i could upgrade it more as well as a better graphics card but then again the portability is nice of a laptop. For those of you in college what do you have? Do you find a laptop is nicer and more convenient considering you can take it to classes? Any comments would be great. I personally dont like games like this that are basically for the most part at least entirely focused on multiplayer. I am unfortunatly one of the few people left on this earth that still DOSNT have fast internet and due to where I live i cant get it. So it just sorta bugs me that a game with good graphics, Good gameplay and and just an all around sweet game cant be played by me because the single player is almost zero. So I really wish companies would stop making SOOO many games based on nothing but multiplayer.

Hmm im also interested in geting login for my site. Now i read the replies but i dont know any php or anything like that so got kinda lost. Now let me tell you what i want and you can tell me the best way to do it. Okay I would like to build a site for my starcraft gaming team. I want it to have the basic stuff you know the news when u bring it up and a membership roster as well as replays and what not. However i also want to have it that a member can login and view persoanl information as well as update there stats, Look at private news among other things. Okay im really sorry im buging you guys again but i seriously need help in this C++ thing cause im currently takign VB at the same time.... Guys some of these exercises in my book i just tottaly dont get and this is basically a self taught class so im trying my best to learn just out of the book.
