Heh, thanks. But I'm kinda past the stage of reading tutorials unless I must. I like to make up my styles now, and figure things out without tutorials, that's the easiest way to learn.Thanks though.

I always chose rock first.And there is great logic to this; here's how it goes.I understand easily how scissors, beats papers, duh, cut cut, snip snip.I understand how rock beats scissors, smash smash.But what I don't understand, is how rock can lose to paper?Alright, rock, can tear paper up in a second. You throw a rock at paper, and BOOM! HOLE! You can't even throw paper so . Why do I chose rock first?So when people chose paper and they say "Ha! Paper covers rock! I win!" I can punch them, then I'd say, whoops, sorry, I thought paper would protect you.Little bit of humor, but really, pick rock first, if they chose scissors, they'll probably pick paper next, so you pick scissors.. And so on, very simple.

My whole aspect on life has changed. I'm now, a proud "pyro". So my friends say. I've changed a lot, and so has my sig style, been trying new things, just as in life. Enjoy .

The origanal render is a giant robot. lol... I was trying a new type of border, I guess it doesn't work with such small sigs. There's a 1px white border on the very edge, put it up against a darker bg and you can see it a lot better.The text was a tricky one, I didn't know why, but when I placed the text anywhere on the signature it was already really faded. I think it's just because of the brushing layer over the render. eh.Thanks for the comments.

Hm, lets see. I hope someone who owns an active website knows HTML, or atleast has someone do it for them...I know HTML, *SOME* PHP, I can't write it, but I know how to alter it. I know a few javascript commands. And that's about it. I make all my websites in Photoshop, the template, and then transfer it over to dreamweaver for the coding part.

Sorry, I don't like it. It doesn't give you that "3D feel". It's to flat and not enough reflections.. Here's something I made with a similar tutorial;

Try using an FTP client first off, it's more reliable. Google for SmartFTP. Also, MAKE SURE YOU CLEAR YOUR CACHE! This happens to me many many times, just clear your cache and refresh the page. If that fails to work, it may take about 5-10 minutes for the info to update, if not instantly, it depends on the server speed.CLEAR YOUR CACHE FIRST!

I've been at T17 for a while, and I never saw anything mentioning free IPB. I mean, you can go to there site and get a trial of 1.3 for free. But if you wish to upgrade you may purchase the lisence, it's only 70$ for a year. It's still lifetime stofware but after the year, unless you renew the lisence, you won't recieve new updates or support...I can tell you right now, don't pirate it. If you're caught yout account will be suspended. It's VERY easy to find pirated versions.

You can sign up for banner exchange programs. But it's so hard to chose where the banners go.You can also sign up for google adsence, but in that case you need to be 18 years+. What they do is place ads on your site, for every click they give you money, don't know the amount.Other than that I don't believe you can get paid for being an affiliate.

Wow, I'm suprised, I've been here at T17 for about 8months (one year anniversary in June!) and I've never posted an intro!Well, there's not much to talk about anymore.. But anyways. I'm 15, I do things such as Web Design, coding, graphic design, not much gaming anymore. I manage 3 websites, hosted by 3 different places(though T17 is still the best.).I joined Xisto on June 16, 2005, a week or two before my birthday. After maybe a month or two here I became a moderator, so I've been around the block a couple times, seen a lot around here. When I first came to Xisto(no idea how I found it), I just came for the atmosphere, I never thought of getting hosted. About 80 posts later I changed my mind, and became hosted, and today, over 6 months later, I'm still working for Xisto and proudly hosted as well!My whole idea of the internet changed since I was here. At first when I joined, I was a huge gamer, knew nothing about coding. Then I got talking to numerous people here, and now I've dropped games and because web creation! I was inspired to start photoshop by many people, mainly Johnny and Saint_Michael, read a few tutorials, and started teaching myself, with help from them ofcourse .Well I guess that's it, any questions just go ahead and ask .

Alright, I'm making a website for a band. And he requested on the "Media" page that when you go there, you see there sample songs. And next to it, it's like "Song - Play in - MWA - RealTime." How do you make it so when you click, say, realtime, it takes you to another page and the player is right there, playing the song? I suppose this is some kind of PHP but I'm not sure.Links, code, tutorials, anything to get this working for me is appretiated.

Leet(1337) Speak. TOS TOS. I guess you should read it. The leet speak in your request reads out to me "Fear me eleet tekneez". First off, "tekneez", erm, isn't a word... and second, many people may not know what the phrase means, being unfair to them.

Just to let you know, talking in "1337 Speak" is against the TOS here. Because there are some people that don't know how to read it. I might suggest removing that part or changing it to normal speak please.

Make sure you've set an admin email. When it sends validation requests it uses the admin email address you set up. Once you do that, it should work.

Wow, this topic is pretty disquisting(yes interesting). I say...erm, all of the above. I can't STAND food that's been mistreated.I once went to Tacobell(HORROR STORY DON'T READ IF YOU HAVE A WEAK STOMACH!) so while I was there, I ordered these potatoe bites with the sour cream and chives on it...and wow, the guy, scooped the potatoes INTO the bowl with NO glove. That was so nasty. but I still ate the food because I had to.Highlight the text to read it.
